We are honored that Primo has been designated a Recommended Restaurant in the inaugural Florida 2022 MICHELIN Guide. Led by award-winning chef Melissa Kelly, our restaurant serves authentic Italian cuisine, featuring organic produce and a carefully crafted wine list.

The menu focuses on the farm-to-table experience with seasonal highlights including produce, honey and eggs sourced from on-premises Primo Garden and Whisper Creek Farm in addition to Mick's Farm and Frog Song Organics in the local community. All seafood is also locally sourced from Florida waters, including clams from Cedar Key, white shrimp and squid from Cape Canaveral, and Snapper, grouper, and other seasonal catch from Ponce Inlet. Mountain Trail Farm in Clermont, FL provides Primo with whole pigs, which are prepared several different ways. Primo also has a long-standing relationship with Lake Meadows Naturals in Ocoee, FL for chicken and ducks.

The service and beverages are fantastic. The bread is delicious. Everything else was overcooked. The charred octopus came with a steak knife. The flounder was dry. The charred broccoli rabe was tough. We told the waiter who was gracious. We would try again - maybe stick to the Italian specialties.

Our server Brandon was outstanding! Really made the experience. Pizzas and pastas were especially good. Found the Blackberry smash too sweet.

The service was great. The mushroom pizza was very tasty, although a tad greasy. As far as gluten-free and dairy free pasta options they had gluten-free penne with plain marinara, not very seasoned. The gluten-free dairy free, chocolate, mousse, and cashew gelato dessert was amazing.

Everything was prestige! Michelin rated dining for sure. The server was top notch and the executive chef surprisingly came to our table. From the cocktails to the dessert everything was perfect!

Primo is fantastic and the dishes are perfectly seasoned. I like the new decor and interior design. Just the noise level is a bit loud. Maybe carpet instead of tile Flooring would help. And it was a bit too cold in the restaurant. But going to Primo is a staple for us. The lamb shank with polenta was to die for. And the zeppoles for dessert are heavenly. Chef Melissa Kelly who created these dishes is a genius and so creative with the flavors.

Excellent from their hostess to our preserver and Jody, our server, Jody). He knew the menu well, from the apps to mains as well as dessert. Excellent from start to finish in an updated “countryside” Italian restaurant!

Amazing food and service! Our server was so attentive and friendly! We will be back, we usually try to stay away from tourist areas but this was a good location and not the crazy hustle and bustle crazy area. Also, they had fire works, which our server told us they have it throughout the summer on Saturdays.

Jody (waiter) is a sommelier and very familiar with the fare and wines. All staff was great! Pork Saltimbocca is a James Beard Award winning dish. Amazing.
