   Restaurant decor was nice. Place was quiet, only 2 other tables in the restaurant had customers. Drinks made were not made properly, and not mixed as described on the menu, after we were originally brought the wrong drinks. Steaks not cooked as ordered. We ordered the filet medium rare which came out well done and was dry, and the flat iron was ordered medium, came out rare and was poor quality and gelatinous. Mashed potatoes were cold and spinach was sitting in oil. Definitely overpriced.

   My husband and I went on Saturday night for dinner. There was only one other table in the place when we sat and one other couple that came in before we left. The waitress struggled with the computer in front of our table for 5-7 minutes and then went into the kitchen. After about 10 minutes, she came over and took our order. It took another 5-7 minutes to get our drinks (glass of wine and Coke). There was no bartender so the man who sat us and brought our water said the wine was coming but they had to get it downstairs. It was cold when it should have been room temperature because it was Pinot Nior. Our appetizers came and were alright. The calamari had cherry tomatoes, peppers, a balsamic glaze, and was served with marinara which was a different combination. The crab cakes were good but warm inside instead of hot. The dinners were a la carte and good but expensive. Finally, we paid and were charged a $3.11 fee for using a credit card! That put us over the edge. We were not happy with the service to begin with and this fee was ridiculous! Nowhere was this mentioned in the menu or told to us.

   This was my boyfriend and my second time here and it once again everything was amazing. We call it the hidden gem! We just got another Groupon to go back again! I cannot wait! Good we got Wedge salad- incredible!! Lobster ravioli- my boyfriends favorite by far! Sauce is incredible! Salmon- this is my favorite dish ever! The capers on top are such a good addition!

   All I can say is there are better places. Providence is not an ideal place to visit or dine. I had 2 negative dining experiences in the town. I did not feel comfortable visiting the town. There is a VERY negative element living and working in this town. Will not return to Providence any time soon.

   As I arrived, I was told that there is a "private event" taking place and was apologized to and basically asked to leave due to the private event. I don't understand why I received no notification to let me know ahead of time before I drove there. Not sure why my reservation successfully went through if there was a planned private event for that day and time.

   The food and service was outstanding! I had the salmon & highly recommend! It was absolutely delicious. Cooked perfectly. It came over a bed of garlicky sauteed fresh spinach which was also delicious. My husband had the shrimp scampi. That was also outstanding. Generous amount of shrimp and the linguini was a perfect aldente. The flavors of both dishes were amazing. The restaurant was beautiful. Very comfy seating. Beautiful tables with high back seating. We were there for our Anniversary and as everything was perfect, the music was a bit loud though for dining. It was more like energetic night club type music. It didn't really 'go' with the dinner experience in this cozy beautiful restaurant.

   My lobster ravioli was frozen, took forever for the check, just an overall poor performance on their end. Shame because the atmosphere is great but I wouldnt recommend anyone buying that Groupon or even worse, pay full amount for frozen ravioli

   Music volume was like you were in a club, not a restaurant on a Sunday. Our server had no tables (us and one other) yet couldn’t appropriately provide service. Some of the food was cold. Other food was not edible. It took a very long time for our food to arrive (we are expecting appetizers for about 20 minutes) but everything came at once. He joked inappropriately about my privacy. We won’t be back.

   We wanted to try somewhere new in our neighborhood. The Shrimp Cocktail was actually warm and watery, and lay on the dish looking like it was on life support , they should have called in a priest to give it the last rites. The steak with as , not magnificent, as it should be for $40ish....... The bourdelaize sauce was spiked with tons of lemon and sat in the dish like a pudding............ Jeez, i eat out often and this place needs a new chef or better food manager.. On a good note, at least they had wine.....

    The atmosphere was good. The food cooked to perfection. The price of dinner was definitely pricey. The waitstaff was attentive.
