Prime Steak House Ratings and Reviews
Was in town to Celebrate Veterans Day and after our festivities, decided to try Prime Steak House for a early dinner. Arrived at 4:15pm as per reservation, and was seated in the adjoining dining room. Katie my server was superb. I was seated along the wall. Well a little ways into my meal the wait staff started rearranging the room for group's that were arriving later from what I was told. Well it's kinda sad that all this movement around the room sorta took away from the ambiance of the whole room. Food was Fantastic, Surf and Turf special was great. Katie my server came back and checked on me frequently as she was working the room next door. Otherwise this is a great place for a date night with quiet conversation. If you notice from the pictures, is what it looks like before all the rearranging began. I sorta felt like I was being closed in from the rows of tables that where put together for these group's.
Saturday early evening, Our server was great, very attentive. Steaks were all very good and cooked to order. Salads and sides all included in cost with steaks, so for that its a very good value. Decent wine and cocktail list, apps were very good as well. Not a white linen upscale experience but a nice place for dinner or outing. Will return and would recommend.
This is the second time we have been to this restaurant. Both my wife and myself had a great meal at a reasonable cost. We got steak and lobster and it was extremely good. Dessest was very good with a Salted Caramel Crunch cake. A bottle of wine was reasonable. Our server was attentive and on point. I really enjoy the salad bar.
I was hoping for a nice night out with my husband. We were seated in the bar area. It was very noisy and the tables were way to close to together. Needless to say it was not very romantic. We couldn’t even have a conversation it was so loud. The food was ok nothing to rave about.
We had an attentive waitress, food was excellent, prime rib was prepared perfectly to specification. We had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated, even though we had a reservation, but the party before us did not leave in a timely fashion. I could hardly blame that on the restaurant. I did find it a bit pricey, but I can live with that when everything else was perfect!
Went with a party of 10, had to wait about 15 mins to sit which is normal. But i had a reservation and it wasnt very crowded. The food options were plentiful and the price was reasonable but our service was poor and the food left much to be desired. I would recommend looking elsewhere if planning for a group.
Food was great. Steaks came out as ordered and were tasty. Waiter was attentive and did a good job. Only 2 demerits that cause a 4 rating instead of a 5 was that we had a 10 minute or so wait past our reservation time and the table they sat us at was a temporary set up with diner-like chairs.
The food was impeccable, but the service left a lot to be desired. I go to Prime every year for my birthday and love it so I was shocked to see the service be as poor as it was. It wasn't anything that can't be remedied and wouldn't keep me from going there again, but the other people in my party were taken aback by the food runner who snapped at us for not answering her immediately. We also have to ask for things like ketchup multiple times and had a long wait (20 mins) to have our order taken. I was truly shocked because I've never not had a great experience there. I think our server was overwhelmed and I hope that next time I go, the issues will be gone.
All told, the food is fabulous and the prices are reasonable. You won't leave hungry that's for sure. This is where we take everyone to eat when they come to visit.
Reserved a table for two for our anniversary using Open Table. Specified in the requests that we needed a table, NOT a booth. We arrived 15 minutes early and waited in the bar. After waiting nearly 10 minutes past our reservation, we were directed to our table - which was a booth... then had to wait even longer to finally sit. Our waitress was wonderful, the appetizers were good. We each ordered steak, and it was just bland. My husband's was overcooked and even charred (although he ordered medium). There was absolutely no flavor.
It is definitely not worth the price. The ONLY saving grace was our server.
