Service was sub-par for venue which was disappointing. Food was very good, but not great.
We did enjoy the piano music and atmosphere.
Outstanding food. Great wine list. Piano bar was great!
Tyler and the crew were fantastic! We brought our two tween boys and sat in the piano bar. They loved it! From the host at the host stand to the musician to dessert the service was excellent. The music was fun, lively and appropriate. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a fun night out with delicious food. Thanks for a great night!
tried to order a nice dinner, the server couldn’t have rushed us out any faster even though half of the tables were open
This was our second visit to prime steakhouse in Park city. The steaks were very good as well as the appetizers. Service was nice and friendly. Ambiance in the dining room could be better.
Great experience! Steak was good but not a whole lot of flavor. Creamer spinach was excellent and macaroni and cheese and mashed potatoes were great as well!
Very disappointed. Food mediocre. Prices not in line with quality or quantity. $40 Salmon very dry and lacked flavor. Soup was good but $17 for a CUP?!?! CRAZY! Waiter was very nice.
Great waiters and just as great food best steak in utah by far
We are local to PC and dine here a couple of times a year. We were celebrating our daughters birthday. Scott was great, food was excellent and we really enjoyed ourselves! Thank you to Tyler as well, nice to see you!
Felt rushed thru dinner. The prices were at the upper end of the usual steak houses. Service was excellent and the decor typical steak house
Service was not up to par for entrees in the $50+ dollar range. In addition, despite asking to be close to the piano we were seated in a corner probably the furthest possible spot from it.
Food was good, but so is the food at the various other Park City restaurants that offer us a better experience.
Good dining option in PC. Food was well prepared and steak temperature was good. Staff and ambiance was somewhat sub par for the price point of the restaurant, and beware of the sizzling plates. They keep the steak warm, but the juices splattered all over my shirt when my meal was placed on the table.
This restaurant used to be elegant and high end. We have been coming for years each time we visit Park City. Suddenly it is a glorified coffee shop. The lighting is cafeteria style. I could see the spots on the carpet. The food is good but expensive for this type of environment. Little children are running all over and I had to move around baby carriages to get to my table. The bar seems much more interesting. I could se myself eating there. Riverhorse seems to have maintained their elegance. I won’t be dining at prime again. Btw, service was good.
This restaurant tries hard, and the waiters really work, but noise level made dining unenjoyable (we sat at the kitchen exit where likely extra tables were squeezed in to accommodate President's Weekend crowds, and I wish I had asked for our group of 4 adults to be reseated). Things were so busy and crowded that waiters carried trays on outstretched arms above their heads and we all felt nervous that a misstep would end up with plates and food on our heads. My beet salad was over seasoned with dressing piled on top of beets straight from a can in one gross lump. Food otherwise fine but nothing special. Piano player/singer was nice, but almost impossible to enjoy with the unrelaxed atmosphere. Not the restaurants' fault, but they seated 2 dads with 2 crying, yelling, fighting 5 year old girls next to us and it was miserable- for all of us. I felt sad for the kids and beyond annoyed with the dads. Anyway, we can't recommend this restaurant to friends, and we won't be returning either.
We have been coming to Park City for 22 years now and we normally stay at Marriott's Summit Watch which is about 100 feet away from the Prime Steak House.
I must admit we have never eaten at the Prime but at the Grub Steak but one person in our group was under the weather so we just walked to the Prime. It was neat to not wear a coat in January in Park City and just scoot over to the Prime from our villa.
I must say their steaks are a better cut of meat (Prime) and the portions are humongous
so we ordered drinks and the Margaretta I got was probably the best Margaretta I've ever had
no mix - all natural ingredients
The steaks were to die for - cooked exactly right and the server asked if we would cut into them to make sure everything was just right - 100% correct. Two ladies in our group had the chicken and they were very impressed.
Next year we plan to visit both restaurants and we will see which is best; I can see this tradition going on for many years to come.
Highly recommend the Prime Steak House
Bar area dining is great.
Excellent service, the food melts in your mouth. Will definitely return as we purchased a gift card for our friend and her husband as a thank for hospitality.
Food and service was fantastic. Highly recommend.
The food was good. The service was good except for the feeling of being rushed through the meal (even at 6 pm). The wine pour was quite meager as were the portions hence the lower rating in value.
Really great ambiance and meal. Loved the tuna tar-tar, beet salad and aged bone in ribeye. Added bonus was the talented pianist, Robin who kept us entertained.
Scott was the best!!
Excellent, as always! Great food, great service, very tasty food.
The steak is served on 500 degree plates and comes sizzling to your table. The steak lovers in my family had filets and ribeyes, and the consensus was it was some of the best steak they had ever eaten (and we have eaten in many a steakhouse in many a town). The sides were also delicious. Two thumbs up for the baked potato which was baked with a salt and pepper rub on the skin which gave it a really nice flavor. The portions were large, so best to order a few for the table and share. The one room for food improvement in our meal was the wedge salad. There was not enough dressing, and the dressing lacked flavor (add salt). The onions they served on the salad were awful. I, an admitted onion lover, took them off my plate and I was very disappointed because I love my onions! They were thick, onion ring size and were from the outer most part of the onion, so they were not crisp and flavorful. On a better note, the ambiance was nice and our service was good, too. They re-filled our water glasses regularly and the waitress came by several times to check on us - very attentive service despite the restaurant being full. But, I am saving the best for last - the piano bar! What fun! We could hear it from our table and stopped in after dinner. Wish we could have stayed and enjoyed it, but there wasn't a seat to be had. We will definitely return here. One caution - the prices are upscale steakhouse high, so it is definitely not a cheap eat, but worth it. We will come back on our next ski trip for sure. Hopefully, they have read this review by then and upped their wedge salad game because I am looking forward to it!
Best steak I have ever had!!! Great for a date if you are trying to impress them.
Delicious crab cakes, salads and of course, steak. A Park City classic for the well healed...prepare yourself for the tab.
Food was delicious as always & waitress was delightful.
The performer this particular night was awful and listening to her pitchy trills made it hard to enjoy dinner completely.
Really good steaks and sides. The service can be slow, but my teens thought it was worth the wait. We had the chocolate melting cake and raspberry sorbet for dessert. The desserts were not huge, which was nice.
What an underwhelming experience. Shortly after sitting down, we ordered appetizers which arrived in less than 5 minutes. That would be great except we still hadn't ordered our drinks or meals so we're sitting there with our bulky menus for another 10 minutes before anyone came to take our order and while our apps got cold. We were perplexed as I've never had such an odd experience. The food was good, as expected for a steakhouse. The molten lava chocolate cake which we pre-ordered as necessary was totally disappointing - both in its extremely small size and its taste. We won't bother to return.
Way overpriced for the quality of food. So disappointed with our meals.
Was a nice place but bad table Too close to bathroom.
Great food, fantastic ambience, and priceless memories made with my family the last night of our Christmas vacation! We can’t wait to come back!
Great dinning experience and very accommodating when requesting to move to the piano bar after dinner.
Favorite restUarant in Park City. Sat at the bar to enjoy the piano. Great service by Todd.
Excellent appetizers (tuna and calamari) and great steaks. Mac and cheese was excellent. Thought we were too full for dessert but ended up enjoying that too! Pricey but a nice treat with excellent service.
When we arrived there was a very large party taking up two large tables and they were obnoxiously loud and yelling, woo woo-ing, hell I thought I was in Red Robin waiting for that ridiculous birthday song! I get having a good time, but not at the expense of every other customer in the restaurant, especially at this price point. Mostly couples at all the other tables, so having a quiet romantic type meal, as we had hoped, was not happening, in fact we could not wait leave. We took a couple bites of our meal and boxed it up to go. It was disappointing that management did not ask them to keep the overall noise down, you could tell it was more about their check then about the experience for everyone else in the restaurant. The service here is like watching a fine choreographed dance, impeccable service much like El Gaucho in Seattle, or Ruth's Chris, even The Metropolitan. The plates come out so sizzling hot it actually kind of ruins whatever else is on the plate besides the steak. In fact it was splattering so much I was told to hold my napkin up so it wouldn't splatter on my clothing. I had crab topped filet with bearnaise sauce, but the plate was so, so hot, the sauce was just greasy butter and the crab overcooked and crunchy. You can see the grease (not a creamy sauce) in the photo. The steak, delish, the crab and sauce, not so much. All else was divine; service, the actual steaks themselves, dessert, cocktails. Ambiance was not at all what we had hoped for but what can you do. Our bill for two with cocktails was $300 and at that price point for 2 people, everything across the board should be outstanding, not just so-so.
One of my FAVS in Park City. Always GOOD! Best service... Best Manager! Park City GEM!
Was a fantastic dinner; food was excellent
The steaks were delicious as well as the veggies potatoes bacon wrapped scallops; everything was super!
Our server Lisa was awesome; friendly fun fast and efficient!!
We would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone.
The musician at the piano bar was a lot of fun and very talented! Definitely recommend Prime to everyone! Cant wait to return! Cheers!
We come every year when we visit Park City. The service is impeccable at all levels. For the Piano Bar, you will need reservations and they are generally closed on Monday and Tuesday but it is a must hit for dinner when you visit. Our family likes the Surf and Turf with crumbled cheese and the peppercorn sauce. It is amazing. The 10 once feeds our entire family. We park on the street and use the Go Park City App to pay. This is our sixth year visiting Prime and we will be back next Thanksgiving Break. Just a wonderful experience.
Another amazing anniversary dinner at Prime!
Very good filet cooked just right, good crab cake, caesar salad good not great. We were in the piano bar by choice but the piano/guitar player was way over amped. Overall fine choice but not great for the price. Waiter was good.
