The food was good. The service was good except for the feeling of being rushed through the meal (even at 6 pm). The wine pour was quite meager as were the portions hence the lower rating in value.

The steak is served on 500 degree plates and comes sizzling to your table. The steak lovers in my family had filets and ribeyes, and the consensus was it was some of the best steak they had ever eaten (and we have eaten in many a steakhouse in many a town). The sides were also delicious. Two thumbs up for the baked potato which was baked with a salt and pepper rub on the skin which gave it a really nice flavor. The portions were large, so best to order a few for the table and share. The one room for food improvement in our meal was the wedge salad. There was not enough dressing, and the dressing lacked flavor (add salt). The onions they served on the salad were awful. I, an admitted onion lover, took them off my plate and I was very disappointed because I love my onions! They were thick, onion ring size and were from the outer most part of the onion, so they were not crisp and flavorful. On a better note, the ambiance was nice and our service was good, too. They re-filled our water glasses regularly and the waitress came by several times to check on us - very attentive service despite the restaurant being full. But, I am saving the best for last - the piano bar! What fun! We could hear it from our table and stopped in after dinner. Wish we could have stayed and enjoyed it, but there wasn't a seat to be had. We will definitely return here. One caution - the prices are upscale steakhouse high, so it is definitely not a cheap eat, but worth it. We will come back on our next ski trip for sure. Hopefully, they have read this review by then and upped their wedge salad game because I am looking forward to it!

Food was delicious as always & waitress was delightful.

The performer this particular night was awful and listening to her pitchy trills made it hard to enjoy dinner completely.

Really good steaks and sides. The service can be slow, but my teens thought it was worth the wait. We had the chocolate melting cake and raspberry sorbet for dessert. The desserts were not huge, which was nice.

What an underwhelming experience. Shortly after sitting down, we ordered appetizers which arrived in less than 5 minutes. That would be great except we still hadn't ordered our drinks or meals so we're sitting there with our bulky menus for another 10 minutes before anyone came to take our order and while our apps got cold. We were perplexed as I've never had such an odd experience. The food was good, as expected for a steakhouse. The molten lava chocolate cake which we pre-ordered as necessary was totally disappointing - both in its extremely small size and its taste. We won't bother to return.

Excellent appetizers (tuna and calamari) and great steaks. Mac and cheese was excellent. Thought we were too full for dessert but ended up enjoying that too! Pricey but a nice treat with excellent service.

 (Seattle)·Dined on December 3, 2017

When we arrived there was a very large party taking up two large tables and they were obnoxiously loud and yelling, woo woo-ing, hell I thought I was in Red Robin waiting for that ridiculous birthday song! I get having a good time, but not at the expense of every other customer in the restaurant, especially at this price point. Mostly couples at all the other tables, so having a quiet romantic type meal, as we had hoped, was not happening, in fact we could not wait leave. We took a couple bites of our meal and boxed it up to go. It was disappointing that management did not ask them to keep the overall noise down, you could tell it was more about their check then about the experience for everyone else in the restaurant. The service here is like watching a fine choreographed dance, impeccable service much like El Gaucho in Seattle, or Ruth's Chris, even The Metropolitan. The plates come out so sizzling hot it actually kind of ruins whatever else is on the plate besides the steak. In fact it was splattering so much I was told to hold my napkin up so it wouldn't splatter on my clothing. I had crab topped filet with bearnaise sauce, but the plate was so, so hot, the sauce was just greasy butter and the crab overcooked and crunchy. You can see the grease (not a creamy sauce) in the photo. The steak, delish, the crab and sauce, not so much. All else was divine; service, the actual steaks themselves, dessert, cocktails. Ambiance was not at all what we had hoped for but what can you do. Our bill for two with cocktails was $300 and at that price point for 2 people, everything across the board should be outstanding, not just so-so.

We come every year when we visit Park City. The service is impeccable at all levels. For the Piano Bar, you will need reservations and they are generally closed on Monday and Tuesday but it is a must hit for dinner when you visit. Our family likes the Surf and Turf with crumbled cheese and the peppercorn sauce. It is amazing. The 10 once feeds our entire family. We park on the street and use the Go Park City App to pay. This is our sixth year visiting Prime and we will be back next Thanksgiving Break. Just a wonderful experience.

The service provided by Bryan and Patrick was impeccable. Patrick was fun and very attentive to our needs and whims. The steaks were delicious and perfectly done. It's exactly what one expects from an upscale streak house. Our family favorite has always been Fleming's then Ruth's Chris. Prime has now made it on that list as well!

Prime Steak Hosue and Piano bar literally rocks!
Great steaks of course but do not miss the grilled ahi.
"Prime" has been our crew's go-to spot for locals and guests for over a decade.
Live music is always top notch and Meg, the gm, is the best!

I so wanted to like this place. Other reviews were really good although I should have listened to the negative ones. I tried the ribeye since it was recommended on the reviews. Tough and cooked medium instead of medium rare as requested. They warned about the sizzling plates and not to tough them, which I didn't do, but I had to use my napkin to move it back because the grease splatters were getting all over me and my clothes. The table clothes should be some indication to these folks that this is happening to others. Everything is ala carte which isn't that big of a deal. All sides are big enough for two. Luckily our waitress warned us about that and we ordered a split. They asked whether we had a special occasion (my hubby's bday), but never recognized it outside of that or asked if we'd like to. Tuna tar tar was really good. Overall, just meh. Won't return.

We were unable to get a reservation during our last trip, so we booked early this time and the food quality was remarkable. We each had the Prime Filet with lump crab and bearnaise sauce, garlic mashed potatoes and sautéed mushrooms. Everything was excellently prepared; the service was impeccable. We will definitely dine at this restaurant again.

Usually good but not tonight. The salmon and sides were good but my filet was misfired twice. Really? I thought steakhouses main focus are on the steaks. Hopefully they will find a temperature gauge before my next visit.

The cocktsils were weak. The food was lacking in flavor. The creamed spinach tasted like frozen spinach was used. The lamb was a very small portion, steak served all by its lonesome on a plate with no presentation..... Upscale prices without the upscale dining experience.

Everything was excellent! The restaurant called us before dinner to confirm our reservation and the staff was very attentive when needed during dinner. The food was delicious and the meal was all we hoped it would be. They reserved us a table outside where you can enjoy the mountain air and still hear the live music inside. We celebrated our anniversary and the restaurant gave us a free molten chocolate cake for dessert. If in the area again for dat night we would definitely plan to eat there.
