About Prime Stache
Prime Stache is an American bistro-style eatery that also offers a wide range of craft beers. The restaurant's interior is inspired from the classic bistro look complete with exposed brick walls, antique wooden décor and retro lighting fixtures. Prime Stache uses only fresh and high quality ingredients in all its preparations to deliver the best taste to its guests. Apart from beers, a full bar menu is also available that features craft cocktails, wines and other spirits.
Guests can begin by picking from appetizers such as tempura fried rock shrimp, calamari with cherry poppers and a chipotle remoulade dipping sauce or garlic double-fried wings with roast garlic butter. Popular entrées to try at Prime Stache include the cedar plank salmon, BBQ chicken with maple brine and Pepper NY strips with truffle polenta fries. Guests can end the meal with a sweet dessert like the house special Oreo cheese steak.

Prime Stache Ratings and Reviews
Our experience was overall pleasant. Our sandwiches were very good. I would not recommend the edamame ravioli. The ravioli itself was not bad, but the sauce was not good and not very eye appealing. The service was ok, I felt at one point we were being ignored but it was a busy Saturday evening. I would probably go back for sandwiches but not for a special night out.
This restaurant enjoys good reviews, so we decided to check it out for lunch. The place was empty when we walked in, though a few others did pop in during our time there. The reason for the lack of customers was more than likely the early, summer-like day as we found many diners eating outside at other local restaurants. However, we had excellent service from a very pleasant and engaging guy who made great recommendations for the menu choices. I had fish tacos (because I have a weakness for this item), and they were really very good. Other food enjoyed at our table was a burger and the BLT (made with fried green tomatoes), all with positive reviews.
Staff was very friendly & helpful. They didn't mind special requests for cocktails & made great suggestions. Their version of the Long Island Ice Tea was delicious. We loved the cedar plank salmon, fried green BLT and fish tacos. All were amazing! Definitely going back again to try the wings and other menu items!
This was my first time at Prime Stache. I loved it! The staff was extremely friendly. We got there a little before our reservation so we hung out at the bar for a few minutes. Both bar tenders were fantastic! Engaging and knowledgeable. Good beer list and fun cocktail menu.
The food was excellent and the menu is priced very reasonably. Two of us had the steak salad which was actually a steak with a side of raw veggies in a light dressing. Not what I was expecting, but I loved it! Healthy and tasty, and less annoying than eating a typical salad. My husband got the burger and he said it was one of the best he's ever had. And he's had a lot of burgers! I will definitely be back.
I loved the atmosphere, the food was AWESOME, and the bartender Sam was phenomenal! He made the whole experience worthwhile, was super friendly, and answered all of my questions regarding good cocktails and wines. I will definitely be going back to Prime Stache!
Went for my son's 22nd birthday dinner. Casual, comfortable bar setting. Great, friendly service. Outstanding food, highest compliments to the chef. Loved the apps - mac n cheese, rock shrimp, fish tacos. Entrees - Stache burger, rib eye steak, beet salads - all delicious. Vanilla bread pudding dessert was awesome (they were happy to add birthday candles for us).
Was hoping for a nice place for dinner for Valentine's Day...got an industrially-decorated place and an OK meal. No "host" to speak of...was greeted by the bartender when we walked in. A few minutes later was greeted by someone...can't really say it as a "host/hostess" type as he was dressed like he just walked in off the street wearing jeans, a windbreaker jacket and a baseball cap. Had 8:30 reservations and still had to wait for a table to get up and be cleared. Menus, that were no more than a folded piece of paper, were dropped on the middle of the table by said windbreaker guy. Tried to order an item from the posted "specials" only to be told that it sold out an hour prior. Offerings were standard bar fare. Food was tasty, but nothing special.
On our monthly (or so) quest to find a quick - but great - dinner before attending the show at a local theater, I once again turned to Open Table to 'discover' someplace new to try. I found Prime Stache and it sounded like the kind of place we'd like to check out. A good selection of micro brews on tap, a varied (but not too extensive) menu, and convenient location. Well, we were not disappointed! We had a reservation and were promptly seated. It wasn't crowded at 6:30, but by the time we left at 7:45, it was hopping! Our server, Ryan, was attentive, pleasant and professional the entire time. After some consideration, we decided to go for a double order of the fried green tomatoes (delicious - you've got to try them), the meatloaf (unbelievable barbecue sauce and grilled broccoli) and the prime rib (huge, juicy and cooked exactly as ordered). The tap beer selection was fabulous and we enjoyed the fresh ales and IPA that was tapped soon after we arrived. Overall, a terrific experience and we will be back!
Cozy place that was pretty much disguised on the outside; I wouldn't have been able to find the place if I didn't know the address because it was that well "hidden". The burgers were great; fries were a bit on the salty side; appetizers were also good. There's also quite a selection of various beers that I've never heard of (I haven't drank beer for a few years); a few TVs that showed the NFL game. Overall good place.
Small but solid American menu. I had the rib-eye which was huge, dry rubbed and cooked perfectly with a great char. Wife had the meatloaf which was very good, but she said the highlight by far were the sides; best mashed potatoes she'd ever had and grilled broccoli, which neither of us had had before. Had similar flavor profile to grilled romaine. Service was friendly. Environment can be lively with the bar and open kitchen, but if that's what you're looking for then it's a great place for a meal with friends.
Really good food. Really good waiter - Dan. But management seems lost. Greeting at door was off putting . This was followed by staff supervising all aspects. This creates high speed eating experience. Needs a little european experience to help all enjoy food. I think owners would want people to relax, drink, and eat. The more people stay, the more they spend.
The menu is limited but everything was outstanding. They have a decent beer selection but my wife ordered a martini and it was not very good. The service was fair. The atmosphere was nice but we were 20 min late for our reservation and they seated us by the door; not the greatest!
We loved the food at Prime Stache! It was a quiet Sunday night when we met our college freshman son there for dinner, but we were not disappointed. The staff was friendly and conversational. I love the vibe of the place and would love to see it on a busy night, I get the feeling it would be fun! Next visit to Philly!
My wife & I dined here recently on a Gift Certificate. Interesting Menu. Food was good. However, I/we felt like we were entering a cafeteria. No "welcoming" vibe or even a greeting at the door. Told, after an extended period of waiting by the bar, to sit "anywhere" at bare tables. No placemats, cutlery, plates, napkins, etc,.... not even a salt & pepper shaker on any table.
This is a Bare, Masculine Space. Might be good for some but not for us. Paper napkins with all courses. Inattentive waitstaff. No steak sauce available for the $32 ribeye steak. Salt & pepper never brought to table, or even offered to us.
Food good but we won't be coming back.
The food was decent- nothing special. Went for my boyfriends birthday and asked if the restaurant could do anything special (a candle or something, most places can accommodate that) and nothing was done / his birthday wasn't really acknowledged. Service was fine, ambiance is nice. Pretty solid selection of drinks as well
