Everything exceeded expectations! Our server Hershel was the best!
Great view & the steak was one of the best I’ve ever had— attentive service and pleasant atmosphere
Wow the Caesar salmon salad with grit croutons was FANTASTIC! Delish.
I will never go here again and do not recommend it. When we arrived at 7 for our reservation, we stood around for 5 minutes before they told us it would be 20 more. This was unacceptable since we had a concert to go to. A manager eventually sat 8 of us at a 6-top table. The host then said she'd take our drink orders, but said she couldn't take any alcoholic drink orders. She left for a while, came back, and said she actually could take alcoholic orders. I asked if we could put our food orders in since it seemed like service would be slow. She said she couldn't find anyone to take our order, which I said was unacceptable. She then said she couldn't help that it was busy and pointed OUTSIDE to the park... The restaurant was busy, but not slammed. At this point, we got up and left. Terrible experience that I do not recommend.
In a hotel, so typical hotel service, nothing special.
Food was excellent. waiter was ok. i think the cook staff was the problem as it took way to long to get our food and once the waiter disappeared, he was gone for ten/fifteen minutes. It may be because this is Georgia and I am used to fast service being from NY, but overall wasn’t that impressed. It was good not great.
Great location in the heart of downtown. The views are somewhat obstructed by trees, but you still have a wonderful skyline view. We came for dinner, and there weren’t many others there, so it’s a very quiet spot. The menu has options for everyone, so you’re sure to find something you’ll enjoy. They validate Valet parking, you just have to ask the hostess to stamp your ticket. Will definitely return.
My husband and I visited Atlanta for the Hinman Meeting. We always enjoy our meals together after his busy day. Prime Meridian
facilitated good conversation and relaxation.
Prompt reservations and great food!
The service was wonderful. The food was very good with good size portions.
Vegetarian options were non existent on the menu. When asked, the waiter responded with a salad or rice with vegetables. Boring and unappealing. Ended up with a colorful plate of asparagus, carrots, and sweet potato fries that all tasted good, but not really a meal. Colleague ordered and specified a gluten free salmon caesar that arrived with croutons. It was returned to the kitchen and when the second version was delivered it was without croutons, but the salmon was half of the original portion.
Reservation at 11:30. Confusion over when restaurant actually opened, as doors were locked. Did open at 11:35, but staff did not appear ready and everything moving very slowly at first. They eventually recovered, we were finished by 12:30 and food was excellent. Wondering if Open Table reservations is not coordinating with restaurant on actual hours. Had this issue once before (only used Open Table twice)
Best ribeye i ever ate!
Excellent restaurant! Although located in the hotel the food and service is far beyond what one usually gets and/or expects from a hotel restaurant. The filet was perfectly cooked. On par with any restaurant in the area.
Very good place to dine out. Food was very good and the service we got was outstanding.
Food was excellent! Would recommend the “smoosh” burger. May have been the best burger ever!
Food was delicious and we had a great time. The staff were very courteous as well as accommodating to our needs.
Great view. Nice location. Food was above average.
We had an awesome time. The food was great and so was our server Kevin
We were celebrating 2 birthdays. We were seated quickly. There was no one else seated in the restaurant but a waiter never came to our table. After sitting for 20 minutes I ended up having to ask the wait staff if someone was going to come to our table and take our order. We were ignored until then, with staff arranging placemats at other tables until that time. The food was okay, but overpriced. Even for big city. The crab cake was the best thing we had. The scallops were too chewy, the ribs fatty, and the black truffle pate abysmal. The ox tail was okay. The fried quail was above average. The view was great. And the location was perfect since we were going to a concert. Would I eat there again? Only in a time crunch. And if only get the crabcakes.
Food was okay not memorable Beautiful view of park
Good service. Buffet always an option in this restaurant ; the aroma is reminiscent of a school lunchroom at times. Not a buffet person; ate shrimp and grits and a burger from the menu. Both were good.
Took foreign visiting business associates out to discuss business. This was during a trade show at the GWCC which is right around the corner attended by thousands, many looking for a place to eat. It was a busy evening at Prime due to high volume, but service was attentive, food was cooked according to what we ordered and we felt relaxed. Recommend for business lunch/dinner.
I don't usually mention servers by name, but Kevin took care of us very well.
GREAT place before a game. Booked for a party of 5 prior to College Championship game. Very accommodating as we added a few more people and ended up a party of 10. Excellent and attentive service even on a ridiculously busy day. Food was also very good. Highly recommend when you are in the area or for a pre/post game meal.
Mediocre. Food and service not up to dinner cost. Skip buffet and grits. Order the Greens. Overpriced. Good view. Good location to Phillips.
Arrived at designated reservation time, place was half empty, host said one minute, and 5 minutes later there was still no one coming to seat me. Complete waste of time, and to be honest the restaurant didn't look that appetizing, more like a breakfast buffet hotel setup. Old tables and chairs, this place needs to up it's game. VERY disappointing.
The Christmas special was unbelievable ! We were so glad we chose it. The pumpkin soup was a delightful surprise. The salad was the most beautifully presented and flavor combination we have every had. The bread, butter and jam was delicious. Then came the Entree. Wonderful Prime Rib, duchess potatoes, asparagus and carrots. Everything was cooked perfectly. Then came the eggnog creme brulee! the presentation was beautiful. It was not your standard brulee. the fresh fruit on top was the perfect combination. Our server was personable and prompt. We were visiting from out of town. Our little family had the perfect Christmas dinner with no preparation or clean up. A wonderful treat and change. Thank goodness we only had to waddle up to our rooms at the Omni !
We booked this restaurant for Christmas dinner. The building was nice once we found parking. The food was delicious, except the scallops were undercooked. The service was HORRIBLE. I think the server's name was Gabriel. We do not know if he did not want to be working or what the problem was. He never asked if we wanted drinks (just poured water once), rushed our party when ordering, did not bring out complimentary bread until after the appetizers, and stood by the food station and watched our table. We had to ask other servers for help. After seeing him be more accommodating to his other tables we asked for the manager. The manager was more than helpful. After explaining the one food issue and the horrible service, he more than compensated our party. As stated the food was delicious (except the scallops), it was the server that ruined it.
Food was just okay. Nice view. Will likely pick a better spot for Christmas dinner next year.
Christmas pre-fix menu was great! Pumpkin soup and the salad were out favorites
Steak was over cooked-sent it back, then they under cooked it. The rest of my party was satisfied with their meal. Nice atmosphere, great views, but service was mediocre at best.
Good Place for lunch before a game. Ate here prior to SEC Championship game. Relaxed pace, good burgers and a varied menu or buffet option. Very attentive service even on a busy game day. Would definitely go back when attending a game.
Buffet food needs to be hotter
We choose this place because of its promixity to Philips- which makes it super convenient. Like most hotel restaurants it’s over priced. Service was slow. Really slow. They clearly wanted you to pick the buffet. Upside- drinks were well done, it’s hard to get a really good old fashioned, these were on point. We had the chowder, crab cake and shrimp and grits. Not one wasted bite! Serving sizes were good but not too much. I’ll go back and make sure I have plenty of time before the show!
Service was excellent. Food arrived quickly and with lovely presentation. We had a great table for view and working lunch!
Delicious food, excellent service and a nice view of Atlanta.
Prime Meridian was a great place to host my 23rd birthday brunch. I'll definitely be back. We came in right after the brunch rush so it was very quiet and it felt almost private. The staff was very pleasant and super attentive to our needs. I wish I could remember our waitress' name. Maybe it was Nicki? Anyway, it was great. My steak was delicious and the cocktails were amazing. I will say that 2 of my friends ordered chicken and waffles and were unimpressed. Their waffles were lukewarm and the chicken was highly unseasoned.. maybe because it's listed as a chicken & waffle sandwich and it comes with syrup/hot sauce? I don't know. However my overall experience was pleasant enough to make me want to come back. I recommend giving it a try!
We dined here prior to the Eagles Concert and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We stayed at the Omni at CNN Center and was looking for something convenient within a couple of blocks of the hotel. We had narrowed our options down to McCormick and Schmicks, Glenns's Kitchen, and Prime Meridian. We had a 5 pm reservation, and it filled up shortly after we arrived. We had a window table with an excellent view of Centennial Park and the City. In addition to the regular menu, they also offered a short tapas menu, which we didn't try. We started with the Southern toast Trio with the braised Oxtail, Black Truffle Mousse Pate, and Smoked Trout. all three were good, with the Smoked Trout having a really good smokey flavor. For Entrees I had the Sweet tea marinated Pork T- bone with peach compote and Sweet Potato casserole. The Pork t-bone was cooked perfectly and went well with the peach compote and sweet potatoes. My wife had the Georgia Farmers Garden which was a delicious medley of 7 or 8 fresh steamed vegetables. For dessert we split the Strawberry Shortcake which was very good . Service was excellent even though the restaurant was quite busy. Prime Meridian was overall an excellent dining experience and we're glad we made this choice and I can definitely recommend Prime Meridian to others.
Service tends to be rather slow.
We wanted to have dinner before a concert at Phillip's arena. We had reservations for 4. There was a very loud group of people in area to get to restaraunt. We waited several minutes to have anyone acknowledge us at the restaurant, all tables were not filled. It took sometime before we were able to get to the buffet. Buffet food was excellent but everything took SO LONG. It might not have been a big concern if we did not have some place to go at a certain time.
