I wish the restaurant website had mentioned that they were under renovation. We were stuck in an old dingy room with a very limited menu (not the one online) and only 1 red and 1 white wine was offered. No wine list or cocktail list was available. While all our food tasted very good, our dessert- A Tiramisu was frozen and inedible half way down.
Our Waiter was lovely and he made up for all the faux pas' we experienced, but I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone until after they are done their renovations.
Restaurant needs to do better at honoring reservations. We were seated 30 minutes after our reservations. Ended up having to the the buffet because of time limitation for a concert.
The restaurant tables had no linen and were all scratched up. The first table we were seated at was dirty. The chairs were also scratched and looked bad. The decor took away from the experience because the food was excellent and the service was very good. I told them on the way out that until they renovate their location I would not bee back. Table clothes for an upscale steakhouse would have been nice. At least it would have hidden the hideous looking tables.
Excellent service, the food was very good, the atmosphere was was open and comfortable, prices were reasonable for value received.
The shrimp cocktail was excellent. The GA sweet T chicken was generally bland but well presented. The service was well regimented with waiter, water/drinks person, bus staff and manager but they did not function efficiently as a seamless unit, everything seemed to take more than one person to accomplish (like a beaureucratic system prevented folks from performing the most immediate task at hand) . However, service was courteous, attentive and professional. The crem brulee was excellent, the milkshake was heavenly.

Food was delicious, and service was friendly. But, my specific requests for items to be waiting on the table were ignored, and, with the entire restaurant open and available, other diners were seated directly next to my party, when at least a tables' worth of space could have been afforded. I spent the evening listening to the next tables conversations whole trying to enjoy my own.

The staff at this restaurant are exceptional. The hotel staff could take a few lessons from them. Every single restaurant employee we encountered was pleasant and accommodating even with it being a hectic game day! We will def dine here again when we are in town
Birthday dinner before the Queen concert Made an early reservation so we would not be rushed. Dinner took over 2 hours. Only 2 people waiting on a restaurant full of people. There was backup help but you never knew who to make a request of.
Had a Convention there at the Hotel
Our experience at Prime Meridian was flawless. We were greeted with a genuine smile, and a gracious hostess. We were seated promptly at a table with a wonderful view. The drink were strong, but perfectly mixed. Our meal was brought out piping hot, and after a very brief wait. We both ordered the scallops, and they were absolutely delicious. Big, fat, juicy Diver scallops caramelized to perfection, but with a buttery, tender center made for a memorable meal.
My friend I was dining with is gluten-free, so eating out can be challenging, because so many restaurants are under- or unprepared for guests who have allergies or food sensitivities. It's so frustrating for her to try to dine out without worrying that she might accidentally ingest gluten and get really sick. It's even harder when waitstaff are either unknowledgeable, or just don't care. Our experience at Prime Meridian was the polar opposite of this! When we asked about gluten-free options, we were told that the entire menu either already was, or could be made gluten-free. Our jaws were on the floor, but in a good way! We were so impressed with Prime Meridian, that we can't wait to go back.
Food Review was mixed from the group. My Salmon was the bomb. Service was outstanding.
Decided to stop here for appetizers and drinks prior to a show at the Tabernacle, which is right across the way. Located inside the Omni Hotel in the SOUTH Tower. It was a Saturday evening around 630 so the noise level was fairly low. Being seated by a window with a beautiful view also lent itself to the pleasant ambiance. Our server, Mario, was nice, attentive, and very efficient. We had the deviled eggs carbonara (tasted ok but at $9 for 4 halves, they are EXTREMELY overpriced for the amount you receive. Will NOT be getting THOSE again), the burrata salad ($12. So delish and a decent amount), and the roasted brussel sprouts ($12. If I lived/worked closer to the PM, I'd eat this dish every single day. Do yourself a favor and try it. You're welcome.). We each had the Chateau St. Michele riesling which was nice - crisp & sweet ($30). Overall a pleasant experience. I'd say it's a bit overpriced, but the food & service was impressive enough to make me want to go back and give it a 2nd try.

Just didn’t have the quality of food for the price point. I had the Chocolate Mexican Cake for desert and it was dry.
The wait staff need additional training. Waiter tried to pick up my friends plate 3x and she wasn’t finished eating, she was still holding her fork in her hand.

Pork Chop and Glazed Chicken were delicious. For the quality of the food I thought it was priced well.

Great spot if you're headed to a show or event at State Farm Arena or Mercedes Benz Stadium.
Overall the food was good. Tuna cooked just right. Gazpacho, made with fresh cherry tomatoes, pretty good. Georgia Captain shrimp did not have the curry flavor that distinguishes this dish. Vidalia onion soup just fair. Our server was not attentive and slow at bringing out food. Three people were served entres a good while before the forth dish, the tuna, arrived.
If you are looking for a terrible experience, this is the place to go. It was 5pm on a Wednesday. We waited 10 minutes for a waiter and another 20 minutes for 2 martinis. The steak was tender, but there was no pink in "medium rare." REALLY? The waiter couldn't have cared less. We left furious and will never be back. Even the food court at the CNN center or the State Farm arena would have been more enjoyable for a fraction of the cost.
When we stay at the Omni in August we will be dining at McCormick and Schmick's which is next door. Fine food for the same price.

We visited Prime Meridian while in town for a nursing conference. We were very excited to try the restaurant. We made a reservation for dinner early in the day, and arrived on time. We were seated promptly by a friendly hostess, and the server’s assistant greeted us immediately and offered us water. We had unexpectedly been provided appetizers while attending the conference, so we’re not very hungry when we arrived. We decided to order drinks from the bar and appetizers/small plates. Our server, August, seemed very annoyed by this. He was rude pretty much from the time we told him this, acting as though taking care of us was an inconvenience. Once we ordered, we really didn’t see him too much. He dropped off out food and didn’t return for a while, so we had to seek him out to get our checks and a to-go box (which obviously annoyed him as well). As a former server myself, I was appalled at the way we were treated. I might consider returning if I could be guaranteed that he would not be my server.

We went for Mother’s Day, so it was one of the busier times of morning. The hostess was nice enough to sit us in a corner away from the other guests who were eating at the buffet. This helped with the noise.
Upon arrival, I was surprised to find out that only the buffet was being served. I don’t eat at buffets. I asked the hostess if she would ask if we could have a menu to select our food. She came back to let us know we could still order from the menu for an limited time that morning.
Our reservation was for 11:30 am, and the menu was only available until 11:45 am. I’m glad we came early, otherwise, we would have been either stuck with the buffet, or with no place to eat on Mother’s Day.
Our order came out quickly. We ordered steak and eggs, which was a scramble, but not the “traditional” steak and eggs. It had cheese sauce and lots of potatoes. Not really fancy brunch food, but eatable. My mother ordered the shrimp and grits. Her plate was nicely done. Plenty of large shrimp, sausage, and a poached egg on top of a plate of grits. She ate everything ,so I think it’s safe to say she enjoyed her meal.
Overall, the experience was okay. If I had it to do over, I would have probably just made a meal at home. If you are staying at the hotel, this is probably a great option to feed a large family. But definitely not a “fine dining” experience.
I would like to compliment the hostess for being accommodating and our server did a fantastic job. Unfortunately, I think this will be the first and last time I visit this establishment.
Broken pepper shakers (3 of 4 at our table were broken).... the girl filling waters would fill when the glass would get maybe an inch from the top, but would interrupt our conversation to say "excuse me" every time. It was a little overkill. For the price of the food, I would not return.
Good food but literally the worst service I have ever had. And it was a buffet so that is hard to do.

The service was excellent, and I would have given the food five instead of two stars except that the filet mignon was well done when I’d asked for it to be medium/medium well. The presentation and taste though, of the crab cake appetizer and beef was excellent. The Brother Ray drink was very good and was a healthy poor. I was the only one in the restaurant between 6:30 - 7:40 pm on Thursday.
Absolutely horrendous experience. Made a reservation for 7:15pm. Showed up at 7pm to a restaurant that was, at least, half empty. The hostess told us that we could not be seated early, but would have to wait until our reservation time. After waiting 15 minutes, no one entered or left the restaurant... nothing changed. We were then led to our table only to see that there was only 1 chair, so forced to stand while another chair was found.
We waited an additional 10 minutes until acknowledged by our server; however, couldn't receive his full attention. We asked for bread while we waited and he informed us that we couldn't have any until we placed our entree order. He disappeared for another 10 minutes before asking for our drink and entree order.
Another 15 minutes passed before our server returned to inform us that it would be a bit longer since the kitchen was also responsible for room service food and was "slammed" with those requests. 5 minutes later, our food arrived.
While the shrimp and grits were tasty, they were served "tail on", which is highly annoying... removing the tails from shrimp that are covered in sauce... maybe I was a fill-in sous chef?
At no point did our server ask if everything was satisfactory, and we didn't see him again until time to pay. He asked if we wanted dessert, which we declined and asked for the check. Another 10 minutes before he showed up with the checks. I asked if perhaps the cash register was required for room service as well.
Overall, I was significantly underwhelmed. This is not an inexpensive restaurant. In fact, it's supposed to be the signature restaurant of the Omni Hotel, Atlanta. Quite frankly, I would strongly recommend going to McCormick & Schmick instead - worth the walk to the other side of the hotel.
The food was great. The server was a little inattentive as glasses were frequently in need of filling. Overall, we still had a great time.
Two person business meeting over lunch. We were seated right on time and were also asked our table location preference which is a nice touch. Very courteous waiter, and since we did brunch buffet, food came when we were ready.
Food was all high quality and appropriate temp.
The whole experience was a great disappointment. The food arrived late,and my order was wrong. The waiter who delivered our meals was not the one who took our order. He took the meals away. When he returned with them my husband’s was cold. The compensation they offered was not enough to make up for a ruined evening out.
The PM had excellent service and an excellent location. It had a limited selection of food for those with dietary restrictions such as vegan and there were no halal items on the menu or even an explanation of what was in the food. I would suggest that for the buffet that the food offered is clearly labeled in terms of ingredients.
Great service and the food was good too! Loved the soups and the presentation!
