Spaghetti & Kobe Meatball
Fresh Bufala Ricotta & Basil
Garlic & Herb
The food here is okay. The service always slow and pushy.
The server was not friendly
Big portions. Meatball app was very good! Some entrees can definitely be shared!
Everything was wonderful, we had such a great time. My son enjoyed his birthday.
Fabulous! Server was so professional.
Food was fantastic, the server was trash. He disappeared 80 percent of the time, our food took literally an hour to come out and when it did we weren’t hungry anymore and there were things on the Bill that we did not order
Muy caro el vino
The meatball appetizer dish was outstanding. Our server David was warm friendly knowledgeable and very helpful hopeful. He also had a very good sense of humor.
Scollops are a little salty and the crab cake is not that great. Other then that it is a great place.
Intimate dining with great service. Sea bass & truffled lobster Mac & cheese were so delicious. Dined there for my birthday.
The food was just awful. The pasta was not good quality and it was over cooked. The fettuccine Alfredo was bland.
Food was amazing. Dussè drink was perfect. Our waiter Joe was so nice and attentive. The kitchen was backed up so it took longer than usually to get our food. It was worth the wait.
Waiter and staff were amazing
Absolutely loved every part of our dining experience! Perfect place for our anniversary dinner. Will return & recommend
Went there last night with my husband. Wonderful ambiance, excellent service, great strong cocktails. All portions are enormous, so plan on sharing or family style for a larger group. Can't wait to go back with a group of friends
Had a fabulous dining experience at Prime Italian. Service was outstanding, food was excellent and we were accommodated with a great table , since we had a stroller.
Great quality product prepared perfectly. Porterhouse was 🔥🔥🔥🔥. Get a meatball and anything else …
I never write reviews, but I thought I should share in order to save someone else time, money and avoid a sub par dining experience. Our waiter had zero interest in being at work. He spent more time on the side of the building with the other staff than tending to our table. He never explained the specials, never asked if we would like a second drink, charged us $30 for a glass of Rosé that was $13 on the menu. After we ordered, we heard a waitress explain the specials to her table…all sounded great!
The food was barely warm when it arrived and was disappointing…no white wine sauce on the pasta, which was chewy. The marsala sauce for the chicken had not been cooked out and was not edible. The waiter did not notice that we barely ate and did not ask how our meals were. In addition, he did not offer any dessert and it was our anniversary. We will not return to this restaurant that has been so popular for years.
Great. Biggest meatball I ever had
Food took a long time to come out but was very good
David did an exceptional job. He made sure everyone at our table felt welcome, especially my grandmother. He was very knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered a bunch of different items to share and he helped serve a few of the items when the food came out. The meatball, lobster mac and cheese, and fried oreos were our top pics of the night. The supporting staff consistently came around to pick up plates, clean the table, and refill our water/wine. Highly recommend.
Meatballs, the truffle Pasta,
AMAZING… Always delicious… I’m here whenever I’m in Miami…
Used to be fabulous. Place looks run down. Food is ok but not worth the price
My food was over cooked. The salad was better then the chicken. I'm from California so I expected better
The food and drinks were simply amazing! We loved every single item that we ordered!
Not what it used to be. They didn't have the wine we wanted. I asked for something comparable, and waiter recommended something $15 more. I said if you'll give it to me at the same price, done. He wouldn't. So I ordered another recommended bottle, and waiter comes back and says we don't have it. 🤦♀️ So we finally asked, what do you have.. and ordered one. Then the bottle arrives. And it's warm. We couldn't catch a break. Ice arrived in hot glasses. Had to keep asking for it. There was no anticipation of our needs. On a positive note, the big eye tuna was delicious. The penne a la vodka had a blob of prosciutto stuck on top that didn't go at all. They sat another group literally right next to us. No one could pass by us because there was no room. No social distancing being practiced at all.
The crowd was yucky and shabily dressed. Not the elegant south of 5th spot we were used to. Mediocre at best, full of nothing but tourists. You know you've changed when the locals don't eat there anymore! Shame on me for not knowing that. For the price we paid, one would expect more on all fronts. 😔
We ate at the bar. The bartender, Robert, was terrible. He messed up both our drink orders (there were only 5 other people at the bar), and instead of remaking my martini, which I ordered dirty, he gave me a shot glass of olive juice. Not acceptable for a $21 price. He then ignored us for the duration of our meal. If you were young and pretty, he paid you attention. If you were one of his friends or regulars, he paid you attention. If you are just 2 older tourists, you did not exist. He was totally unprofessional. So much so, that I seriously considered stiffing him on the tip, which I have never done! I gave him 10%, but he didn't deserve a penny from us. Would never sit at the bar again if he was the bartender. Prime italian always had very good bartenders and this guy is a blackeye on the business.
Always a consistent lovely night. Kobe meatball is an amazing way to start your meal. Meats are the same as Prime 112 across the street. Stay for the italian specialties. Pastas and we had the chicken and veal chop. Deserts cant be missed and also same as sister restaurant. Always near the top of Miami italian restaurants with the great South of Fifth location and energy .
Beautiful ambiance! Food and service never disappoint…absolutely amazing!
Food was great as always!
Always awesome and fulfilling
We had an amazing time! I decided to take my sister here for her birthday dinner. What a great restaurant selection! Beautiful setting, delicious food and awesome service. We will highly recommend
The waiter an Asian gentlemen was not Very accommodating when mentioned that the bread was hard he gave me a song and dance upon my insistence he brought a better one he did not check on the table but the guys with the water very attentive and pleasant DONOT Order the lobster Oscar it was sour and cold so I just ate the steak it was food but not medium well sent it back but I enjoyed it my nephew has a special the snapper with crab meat it was Devine OVERALL
Staff was awefull and rude
There was just one other table occupied when I arrived. At the end, I understand, the restaurant is not what used to be anymore. The waiter, unpolite. The food, really bad, no flavor at all. The bread was warmed up in the microwave...
I wasted my Sunday with my sons on this bad place.
The drinks were top of the line. I could’ve had several more.
The food was well done and overall, a lovely experience.
Our waiter was pretty cool. I love the fact how they work together.
