Prime Fish Cajun
Outstanding waiter, Roger, for dinner on Mother’s Day. Love the delicious meals. Great ambiance.
our server was very nice. The manager wasn't and the food was average at best.
Excellent experience during Mother’s Days celebration. Actually, I had the fortune to have Daniel Farías being our waiter for second time we have visite this restaurant during this special occasion with my lovely wife and daughter ...absolutely outstanding attention from Daniel...next time I’ll be looking forward to having him hosting our experience at this Great Restaurant!
Disappointed they decided to not make deviled eggs for brunch. It’s my favorite thing on the menu.
Food and portions were absolutely phenomenal!
Great service, food was delicious! Crab legs were our favorite!
Went for dinner with family and it was absolutely delicious. Francisco our waiter was very helpful and attentive
Bailed on the waitlist at Joe’s and came to Prime Fish and discovered our new favorite spot in Miami. The food was incredible. My husband and I split the truffle deviled eggs, chopped salad, and stuffed lobster and we could barely walk out we were so full!! The desserts looked amazing as well but we were too stuffed to consider them. Every plate that went by had an Instagram-worthy masterpiece on it. We will def be back next time we are in Miami!!
Outstanding food. Massive servings.
The staff was all great. Our waiter apologized more than one about “forgetting” about us. We
Great server , great food and just before it started to rain they moved us inside without any miscue to an open table.
The food was delicious, the staff friendly, and the patio absolutely lovely. Definitely recommend going, especially a little earlier before the crowds set in.
I had an amazing time !!! Rob was my server & it was magnifying
Excelente servicio y mejor comida, en un ambiente muy cuidado y tranquilo en la zona de South Point. Muy recomendable
Everything was great but the street this restaurant is on is ridiculously loud and outrageous. People where constantly driving by blaring loud music acting ridiculous which was very annoying while having a nice meal.
Made a reservation for 1 for 8:45 pm on a Sunday for outdoor seating. Arrived at about 8:35. They told me my table would be ready in about 15 minutes. A couple arrived about 15 minutes after me and were also waiting for a table. Around 9:10 they sit the couple at a small table. I ask the hostess why they were sat first and she said their reservation was for the same time as mine and my table will be ready soon. She did not explain why they were sat before me; if our reservations were at the same time it seems like the equitable thing would have been to sit me first since I had been waiting longer. I ultimately was not sat until closer to 9:20. When I sat down the waiter was pleasant. I immediately put in my appetizer order. When it came I then put in my entree order. Once the waiter stepped away I noticed all the other tables had bread on them. I asked another staff member about it. She apologized and brought me bread. At this point I was annoyed because had I known there was bread I probably wouldn’t have ordered the family sized “side” of mash potatoes to go with my filet mignon. When my steak arrived I didn’t have a steak knife. I had to wait a few minutes for my waiter to check in to request one. Food was delicious but I was tired of feeling overlooked so I ordered dessert to go. They don’t have to-go silverware which was a another inconvenience since I was staying in a hotel.
Excellent service and food was delicious
The food was very good but the service left a lot to be desired. The space is very crowded, originally seating us next to a brick pillar where the waiters input the orders. The view of the hall into the kitchen was not pleasant and I had to physically move the table to seat myself or get out for the restroom. We were eventually reseated to a little roomier spot. The waiter paid very little attention to us as he was overwhelmed and the food took a while to come out. If you are prepared to wait, then it should be no issue but at 10pm, I was ready to eat. The food made up for the poor service.
Our server was excellent, food incredible, but no one mentioned our daughter’s birthday. We mentioned we were there for a bday celebration on our reservation.
I have enjoyed many delicious meals in my lifetime but I may have had the best entree of my life at Prime Fish. We had drinks, appetizers, entrees, and dessert. Everything was impeccable. So much flavor, beautiful pairings, fresh food, all cooked to perfection. Highly recommend for anyone in Miami, and I will be back on my next trip!
Amazing venue. Superb cocktails. Divine cuisine
Great food and value. Awesome birthday dessert for wife's birthday.
We will make this our spot eventide we visit Miami
Prime Fish is my all time favorite when visiting the South Beach area. Tried something new this time, Alaskan Crab Lasagna, Absolutely tasteful!
Great outdoor dining under a big oak tree. Traditional feeling spot with a professional staff.
Everything about our experience at Prime Fish was perfect! Great service & atmosphere & the most delicious food ever! We had a party of five & it was our son’s birthday. They put a candle in his dessert & just made our family dinner fun! We highly recommend Prime Fish & can’t wait to go back!
Raw oysters were dry
Baked oysters were dry, overcooked
My birthday which was a special day. Beautiful atmosphere the service was great I shall return.
Amazing service, great food. Outdoor dining
It was our first time at Prime Fish and we loved it! The food was creative and prepared perfectly. Our waiter was very helpful and knowledgeable. The tuna poke bowl was amazing and highly recommended. We are going back again on the last night of our vacation - it’s that good!!
Great food, service and atmosphere.
Always amazing service and amazing food. Excellent wines to accompany any meal choice. Something for all palates. Always come early so you can get the octopus appetizer as it sells out fast.
Everything was of high quality. Outdoor dining on Collins Ave. does result in some noise, but nothing that takes away from the quality of this magnificent restaurant.
Entertaining out of town guests
Terrible food quality over priced
Absolutely phenomenal experience from start to end ! It was our first time traveling post vaccine ..and we chose Prime Fish based on a recommendation from friends. Even though it is set in busy South Beach, it’s location is not congested or loud. We felt like we were in a Europe ad we sat in a courtyard surrounded by palm trees. The vibe was wonderful..relaxed yet not boring or quiet. The service was exceptional. Our server was so warm and knowledgable of the wines and the food. Our appetizers were presented beautifully and so delicious...a pot of mussels with lots of garlic and a red sauce ....maybe the hugest cocktail shrimp we’ve ever seen ...and a delectable tuna tartare. Our fish entrees were so fresh (the only comparable fish we have had was in Greece on the islands !). We were very happy from start to finish. A must go to if you are in Miami.
We have been to the restaurant once for Valentines Day and once for a casual dinner. Both times we had a great time. Today seemed like our server had a sore throat and quite a busy section. We spent 3 hours in the restaurant either waiting to place an order, waiting for water or waiting for a course.
I do not think the experience was worth $370 for three people. Not sure if we will repeat.
Also why is the red velvet cheesecake $22 when its about $17 at Big Pink?
Great fish on a plate. Service a little over the top but enjoyable. Definitely a go/to.
We will definitely be back!!! Loved it. Everything was perfect. So happy we found this place. Also, the desserts were massive, we ordered the apple cobbler and it could easily feed 4-6 people... it was delicious.
I was very impressed with my experience and will say 5 stars on Sevice and food. The waiter made me and my date feel special.
It’s the perfect place to end a perfect weekend in South Beach.
Brunch was quite pleasant...glad we finally did it. Our friends raved about it.
