Have been to prime fish several times. The service is always good. My issue is with the food. The portions and prices are both ridiculously large! I split the dover sole with my friend (mostly due to the price) but there was no way one person could finish the dish alone. Also, the sole was not very good. When I think of an expensive dover sole dish I think of delicate filets - these filets were tough and about a half inch thick. Will not be ordering that again. You just have to learn how to order properly and you can enjoy your meal
Always great! Consistently outstanding! Our favorite place on Miami Beach!
Food below expectations
Beautiful outside dining. Well informed server. Delicious, fresh snapper for 2. Sides were family style- DONT over order like we did. Highly rec the sweet potato mash & the plantains. Skip the undercooked/unexciting Brussel sprouts
It took over 30 minutes to get our appetizer and my main course fish and chips were poor, batter not crispy and fries stuck to the plate as if it had sat under a lamp too long. Then we had to wait 10 minutes for another glass of wine and the waiter was obnoxiously rude and forced me into a loud altercation which I'm sure disturbed others. After coming for the 5 years in a row that we've visited Miami, for Art Week your restaurant had become a favorite, but unfortunately I don't see us ever returning.
Food was good but everything cold. Drinks not to standards.
My fish was fine as was my sons steak. The shrimp, tuna and soup were good. Second time that I recently went to a Prime restaurant and I won’t return. Both times the food was okay. The service was also mediocre so overall not worth the price. There are so many amazing restaurants in Miami that I can spend the money and feel that it was worth it.
Amazing food. Great selection at the bar. Perfect date night.
The hostess was very nice and the waiter professional.
If you want to order something from the menu do it right away. Keep in mind portions are big. One popover for example is enough for two. Although you can choose something from the menu included in the buffet, there is more than enough food, usually menu items are too much. The service is amazing and they really do keep it comin’ when it comes to bellinis, mimosas, and proseccos. Highly recommend.
We love prime fish for the outdoor seating and great food
Great atmosphere and waiter, food food was average
Why didn’t I receive pointy????
Place inside and outside looks great. Food however, for the price, should have been a bit better.
I have been to Prime Fish several times before, but this was the first time for everyone else. They were extremely impressed with the entire experience. Thank you for making this special event a success.
The appetizers were great the entrees were mediocre
We have eaten here many times. We come in from Nashville often and the Chef’s Miso Seabass here is always on our list of things to do. Our service has also always been as fabulous as the food. Daniel was our server this time and we loved him ! If weather is conducive for outdoor dining , you must notice the 100+ year old tree.
Amazing fresh seafood. The miso sea bass was so good!
I always recommend this restaurant. It is just GOOD to go, food ambiance and price is acceptable (wine is a bit on the expensive sight)
Expensive but not very tasty food
We sat outside under this very big tree! Very nice ambiance, pleasant waiter and fresh fish!!!
The food was good but seriously over priced. Jumbo Shrimp 10.00 each and not very chilled.
outstanding food amazing atmosphere beautiful
place love it here
Went for stone crab and was not disappointed. Split a lobster cob salad; could have served 4. Expensive but very good.
We been to Prime Fish dozens of times over the last 2 years. We've always enjoyed it. Especially for brunch. This time we went for dinner and had a terrible experience. Our waitress was rude, rushed us & was slamming our plates. She was so annoying. We were there celebrating our oldest son's birthday. We will not be going back any time soon.
Mussels, whole fried fish and fish and chips were really good. Didn't care for the fish ceviche.
Very good food and great service. Give a try and you will be happy, still like Prime 112 also!!!!
We have been going there for years, it always delivers. Great food , great service in a cool place. No wonder we keep going back...
I have eaten at Prime Fish multiple times. Was disappointed with the Service. Candidly, Prime 112 is far superior
I love this restaurant. The staff is great and the food is delicious. The brunch is also a great deal. I would highly recommend!
Birthday dinner & first visit. Food was amazing. Only issue the waiter didn't introduce himself when he came over to the table, or ask about previous dining experience however he did ask later, if it was our first time
Good food and service. We enjoyed our evening very much.
Such an amazing time! We enjoyed every dish we ordered. Can’t wait to go back soon!
We went for Miami Spice and what a horrible experience. The food was subpar and our waitress was an absolute terror. We were treated like we were a total inconvenience.
One of the best Miami Spice menus with great options
A group of us went to take advantage of the Miami Spice promo. So we had a three course meal for $39, excellent. If it wasn’t for the promo though, I couldn’t afford to have dinner here. The regular menu had $10 per shrimp type prices.
We went last night to a very good Miami Spice. The Tuna Poke was very fresh and nicely prepared. The King crab lasagna was delicious. It was filled with crab which was perfectly cooked. We had a wonderful server. I wish I could remember her name. I highly recommend for a special night out.
Fabulous dinner .....sword fish and branzino curry were Devine !!
Except for having to request the Miami Spice menu, everything was excellent. We sat outside where the weather was beautiful. We were promptly given water and warm rolls with a smoked mahi mahi spread. Having been here before, we knew the Spice menu well. This time we both opted for the little poke bowl with fresh tuna, greens, and sauce. In the past I had the lobster bisque. For entrees we had the crab lasagna and the crispy curried bronzino. Both were cooked well and did not disappoint. For dessert we chose the fried Oreos as it is the house specialty ( same at Prime 112 and Prime Italian). Service was excellent and water glasses were refilled frequently, dishes cleared quickly, and everyone checking to assure that things were good. Last year the food and service were not up to par as they had been previously, so we were pleased that everything was perfect tonight. With one week left for Miami Spice, I would recommend trying to get to Prime Fish and Prime Italian.
