Friday-Saturday Dinner: 5:30pm-12:00am
Saturday Brunch: 11:30am-3:30pm
Sunday Brunch: 11:30am-4:00pm
Food was awesome. Long wait even with reservations. Hostess desk is very unorganized
My wife said that it was amazing, I concur!!
Great food and service. Don’t remember our waiters name but he was on point and very tentive along with his help(other services who weren’t busy or closing out for the night).
I love the food at all Prime restaurants and had been to Prime Fish for Brunch before so I picked it again to celebrate my birthday. Although the food was delicious as always, the service was very poor. The table was not cleared on time, requests for drinks took long and the bill payment wasn't handled properly as on the way home I received a call alleging that we left without paying, which wasn't the case. They did call back later to apologize but it shouldn't had happened.
As much as I love the food, I will give it a break for a while.
The food was spectacular
Food was amazing and loved the wine pairing suggestions!
We enjoyed Prime Fish. However, we expected a Miami Spice Menu to be available because the Open Table reservation was reached through the MS website, and it indicated that Sunday lunch was available. However upon arrival, having already parked via Valet service, we were informed that MS was not available just Sunday Brunch for $59.++ or a la carte menu. We stayed expecting some good affordable seafood but the items available a la carte where overprized. So we opted for the brunch as it had a couple of fish dishes on the menu, only to be informed that the Branzino was not available only swordfish which happens to be a type of fish we don't really enjoy. All in all the brunch is worth it's price and it's abundant. It just not what we went there for, i.e. a Miami Spice lunch.
I went dinner with my husband on a Saturday night. I made the reservation to eat outdoor since the weather was perfect. With the Miami Spice going on, we are trying to eat at a nice new place at least once every week. I was undecided between Milos or Prime Fish, but since I have been a few times to Milos, I though it would be better to try Prime Fish at this time. The service was outstanding, however, the Spice menu was not offered until I asked for it. We both got cocktails, the Spice menu and an extra side. Food was ok but not for what it regularly costs. If you'd ask me if I would suggest any friend to go to Prime Fish, I would definitely say that it's not worth the hype.
I was very excited to come try this restaurant out during Miami spice. The only thing I did not enjoy is that the tables were very crammed and right next to each other.
Best smoked fish dip EVER! The lobster bisque was also the best I've ever had. It is filled with CHUNKS of lobster, luscious and full of warm flavor.
Food was delicious. Best Spice menu I have had. Service was excellent, we were accomodated to change our seats when the obnoxious couple beside us would have made our night unpleasant. Wine choices were great too. Thanks Prime for fixing the matter.
Excellent sea food!! Jose was our waiter and did a fantastic job!!! 4 of us were dining for the evening and all of his recommendations were spot on. Go with his recommendations and you won't be disappointed...No matter how stuffed you are, try one of the deserts.
Amazing! Best miami spice restaurant so far!
Food was phenomenal. Fried oysters was the best thing and the jumbo shrimp with cheese grits as well. My date and I cherished the ambiance and that it wasn’t noisy.
As much as I was looking forward to it, the lobster soup was disappointing. This time it did not have the sherry and flavor I’m used too. Also, it was a little clumpy like when you make bad gravy. Ugh!
The food was great but they ran out of a lot of menu items. I really wanted to try the crab lasagna but they didn’t have any. Also, the AC went out on part of the restaurant so we sat in a hot, humid room for two hours. However, our server was amazing and the food that we did have was great. The grits in the shrimp and grits wasn’t creamy, but very gritty. But the flavor was great
It was just a rough night for Prime Fish. Only thing that may have slightly saved the visit for me was the actual quality of the food. The branzino was delicious. The experience overall was extremely frustrating and underwhelming due to the service. It was Miami Spice and they were slammed. But the service was extremely slow, the ambience was not very appeasing due to the hood going out in the kitchen so it was extremely hot inside, we were sweating. It took over an hour to get our entree. Not sure if I'll go back. If I do I would never do Miami spice again. We still spent well over $100 with drinks and too for 2, and expected better service.
The air conditioning was broken so it was super hot! Our server was excellent and the food was great!
The A/C didn't seem to be working.... Indoors was hotter than outside. Sweaty meal. :-(
My favorite PRIME
Always good, with or without Miami Spice
Service by Jason was impeccable
For the level of restaurant the food was not good. I can’t remember the last time I didn’t eat all my food especially a $300 meal wine was great atmosphere was wonderful service was good just food not up to par. Ate chargrilled oysters, lobster bisque, crab deviled eggs, scallops covered with asparagus and lobster cream sauce.
Great restaurant but not pleased with Miami Spice portions.
Birthday, excellent experience. The selection is excellent
The food at this restaurant was amazing. We ordered wayyyy too much because we wanted to try EVERYTHING. The octopus and ceviche appetizers were delectable. I chose to order the tuna on a plate blackened and it was fabulous, however, my friend’s grilled sea bass outshined it. We also tried the truffle Mac and cheese which was sooooo good, but again it paled in comparison to the seafood stuffing. (That was my favorite) Everything we ordered was fabulous, some just head over heels better.
Our server was very nice and attentive, however, he did mess up our dessert order and didn’t space out our courses quite as much as we would have liked. Overall though, he was great and really added to our experience.
This restaurant is delicious. Very pricey, appetizers and sides could be a bit less along with their signature drinks, however, food was amazing.
Had the Mia Spice offering and it was flawless. Wonderful food, several great choices, very generous portions and beautifully presented!! The service was equally flawless. Our server went beyond what one even expects from a fine restaurant like Prime Fish. Thank you for making this evening very special!!
Went to Brunch this past Sunday at Prime Fish and was very satisfied. The service was amazing, the food was great and overall we had a great time. Would highly recommend for Sunday Brunch.
Yum! The prime rib was awesome and the desserts were even better !!
I’ll be back soon. Loved the food and the service. I wish the AC inside the dining room was more potent, it was a bit warm, but other than that it’s a fabulous place for brunch.
Fun place for a fabulous brunch. Great value!
We have had great dinners there too.
Went for my birthday brunch, the food was excellent and the choice of beverages was great very good value for money. Was a little disappointed that other tables that were celebrating birthdays had
Happy Birthday sung to them and my waiter just said here you go and handed me a cupcake!
We have been twice for Miami Spice and it's always good, large portions and nice choices. Go with a good appetite!
Our waiter was rude. Could care less about serving us. Our reservation was not honored at all on time and when seated finally indoors ( we requested outdoors) there was absolutely no air moving in our area of the dining room and our seats had to be changed.
The food was very good and certainly a good value since we ate from the Miami Spice Menu. I look at Miami Spice as local residents keeping the neighborhood restaurants busy during the low season. Give us a good experience and we continue to keep you open and keep your waiters and staff with work. This waiter was certainly not interested in making us happy.
A bit disapointing! The waiter Wilfred? Cancelled our Open Table reservation AFTER we were already seated. I brought it up to make sure we were checked in ( to get our points) and I had my first and last name on the line with FIRST name line- no big deal! I fixed it on my phone at the table and he cancelled it anyway. I was SO hot in the restaurant and asked if they could turn UP the A/C- he said Ill get back with you after aI ask my manager.... he never got back to me! I guess the manager didn't want to spend anymore money on the A/C bill yet we spent $500 on dinner for two! BTW I wrote another review and it was possibly deleted are these reviews paid for??? RUDE!
Went for Miami Spice and the wait staff seems like they have an issue with you ordering from spice menu. Also the food was servered warm. We had the lasagna was over cooked and the salmon as well. I’ve eaten outside of spice and had a much better experience.
Staff were all very intense. They lacked personality. Food delivery was very rushed and almost aggressively delivered. Plates were taken away in the same manner with no questions like “How was your meal?”
I am so happy that Prime Fish is two blocks from my home. Sitting outdoors under the beautiful spreading tree would be a treat even without Prime Fish’s delicious seafood fare. You can either splurge on rich delicacies or count calories with simple grilled fish. The menu is suited for all tastes. Lastly the service team is uniformly professional, efficient and friendly.
As it is a "fish" restaurant, all we tried were seafood dishes. All were prepared perfectly .
If we were in the area again we would certainly consider giving the restaurant another try for dinner.
Crispy Bronzino was very good. Crab lasagna was just ok. Miami Spice menu was a good value otherwise the restaurant is pricey.
If you don’t want your customers to choose the Miami spice menu, do not participate in Miami spice. If you do participate offer the same service as regular clientele. In addition the main of branzino was over cooked with the batter dark brown and almost burnt, do not think a proper Italian fried fish in a subtle curry sauce. Think tough hard batter with a bitter taste in an overpowering and unbalanced sauce. We have had much better experiences here, the restaurant seems to be going down hill. We also told the restaurant it was a birthday and they ignored this fact. Not good.
