Perfect from start to finish.
Not enough vegetarian choices. Prices a little high for the quality of the food.
Beautiful view, well seasoned food, good experience overall
As always, staff was great, view was great, food was outstanding!
It is a great place to celebrate my birthday!!!!!!!!
Nice ambience, Good food. Beautiful view. Service as expected. Nothing special about the service. Way too noisy.
Ciapino, definitely! Ask for extra toast for dunking.
The setting is impeccable, the service is quick and everyone is attentive. Every table has a great view of city. The food is delicious and well priced for a four star restaurant. The steaks cook to perfection. I had the red snapper with crab meat; it was sooooo good. Looking forward to my next visit.
My boyfriend and I came here for our anniversary. It was our first time coming here and as a result we were a bit underdressed — we hadn’t realized how fancy it was and had come for the notoriously beautiful view — but the staff were all extremely kind and didn’t seem to mind. We ordered a lot of food and it was all to die for, especially the goat cheese and honey bruschetta which our waitress recommended. I wish I could remember her name, as she gave us exceptionally wonderful service and I’d love to give her a special shout-out. Overall, I have absolutely no complaints — Primavista was a big splurge for us, and one that was absolutely worth it. I’ll be dreaming about this delicious food for years to come.
Amazing service, views, and food. Noise level and a small corner table definitely hurt the experience.
My husband and I choose Prima Vista for our date night. We enjoyed a $99.00 bottle of wine and a tasty appetizer, both recommended by our server. Both delicious.
For our dinner entrees , I ordered the sockeye salmon and my husband had the veal Marsala. Again, both tasty , but, my salmon was undercooked.
The center of my salmon was raw , and , I found a herring worm . After watching it for a moment, my husband and I confirmed that it truly was a moving worm.
We were less then impressed by the management’s response. The management apologized and offered me a new meal. I was pretty sickened by the event so I ordered a salad.
After our meal , we were offered dessert , which again was delicious, but couldn’t believe when the dessert showed up on our check.
We felt that they should’ve done more than simply remove my meal from our check.
Unfortunately, we use to enjoy dining at prima vista for special occasions , however , will never return after this incident.
Too expensive. The view is not what I expected. It’s overlooking Cincinnati, but from a distance. The restaurant is not downtown. It’s west of downtown in a dodgy neighbourhood and it’s underneath an unimpressive apartment building. The decor is reminiscent of an old Vincent Price movie. We all decided it was too pricey for what it is. The outdoor bar next door looked more enticing and fun, albeit casual.
The food and ambience was outstanding. My wife and I enjoyed everything about the restaurant, from the scenery right down to the wait staff. There is no bad seat in the place.
The food wasn’t great, my fiancé ordered a pasta (really dry) looked honestly like Fazolis, she sent it back as soon as it hit the table and they brought her an appetizer size of another entree and still charged us for the full first ordered item. They were friendly and checked on us numerous times, seating was great, menu just wasn’t very good.
We came here for our 5th anniversary. We were looking for something special- and we found it! The views were breathtaking. The staff was so kind and accommodating. For being a busy Friday night, the service was pretty fast. The ambiance was wonderful- it truly felt like a treat even when we weren’t eating! The food itself was absolutely amazing. Being vegetarians, it can be hard to find good options in general, but especially at Italian restaurants. They had a vegetarian/vegan menu with lots of choices. Our dishes were so delicious- some of the best food I’ve ever had. The wine was also great and we just had an all around wonderful experience. I wish we lived closer to Cincinnati so we could enjoy this place more frequently. We will definitely be coming back!
The view was outstanding but the food is over priced. I won’t go back, but can say I’ve tried it.
This is our celebration restaurant. Always great food and ambience. Service is top notch. Highly recommend!
Beautiful dinner with great recommendations from our server, Lauren.
Great atmosphere for a date. Great food. Great service. It seems they don't pay attention to special requests though as I said in mine that it was our anniversary and wanted a table right by the window and maybe something special on the table like some flowers. First place they sat us was a table away from the window that required us to sit next to each other rather than across from each other which is odd for a date. We requested another spot so we could sit across from each other. The no flowers wasn't a big deal but it just made it apparently that they don't really pay attention to special requests. All in all though we had a great dinner there and will certainly be back.
The best view in town, lovely traditional Italian fare and always great service....it is Prima!
Experience exceeded expectations. Food was elegant; service outstanding.
Outstanding, has charm and grace not found anymore.
This was our second trip to Primavista! We were thereon Valentines day and enjoyed the Chicken Formaggio and the view so we took our granddaughter and a friend to enjoy! They got the Chicken Formaggio and it was super dry like it had been sitting for hours! I had the angel hair pasta which was the most horrible sauce I ever had! Its in the trash as well as My husbands penne cionni which was horrible! We did not complain to save our guests the embarrassment on the first trip to an Upscale restraurant!! Who serves pasta in a lump on plate with little sauce on inside so the pasta is stuck together?? Needless to say our last visit to Primavista!!!!
Great experience as always. I would have loved different seating arrangement if offered but overall. Classic dinner. Will return. Thankyou.
It was quiet and a great atmosphere until the large (10+) party arrived and sat next to us. They were quite loud but nothing you can do about that.
We have eaten here before and loved everything that was on our plates. This time the noodles in the chicken formaggio tasted as though they had sat under a heat lamp for hours and my wife's filet mignon which she requested medium rare was very VERY rare.
It was still better than any meal with the view that we could have gotten elsewhere. The service was outstanding as always and the rest of the meal was delicious and we will be back. Hopefully at that time it will be reminiscent of our first dinner we had.
Food was ok, but overpriced, the service was out right poor....... from the bar, demanding a credit card to hold when you are sitting and looking at the bar tender, to the waiter who had experience at McDonalds most likely. Food and service is better next door at the Incline house for a lot less expense
We were there for our anniversary. The staff was courteous, friendly and efficient. Our food was excellent and well presented. We never felt rushed. I highly recommend Primavista!
Primavista has been our "go to" place for special occasions for many, many years. The most recent visit was to celebrate our 46th anniversary. It did not disappoint.
We loved the restaurant - visiting for the weekend and celebrating some special occasions it was a perfect location with at gorgeous view!
The restaurant could use some improvement on the their service - the servers reached across the table to present food and didn't take away all the dirty dishes. They also did not replace silverware from the previous courses - these small gestures can make a BIG difference between average good service and fantastic memorable service. Please go back to the training aspect to stay high...thank you!
The experience exceeded our expectations! The quality and portion sizes were excellent.
Prima Vista's biggest asset is the view of Cincinnati. Really great. The food is good, although I consider it a bit pricey, and our server was outstanding. It's certainly a "must to" restaurant on the west side.
Every element of dinner was excellent. Joshua was very helpful with questions and helped provide a great dining experience. Complimented by delicious food and the best dining view in Cincinnati. Will definitely return.
Awesome table at the window. We were 20 min early but no problem. Debbie our server was great and all the support staff were efficient without being intrusive. Veal meatballs are a super start. We had seared scallops and a veal special with mushrooms and pancetta. Everything tasted wonderful.
We visited the restaurant before attending a play at the Incline Theater across the street. It was very convenient for our evening out. We have been there several times and the food is always well prepared. The salmon was ordered medium, but was somewhat over done. The veal piccata was enjoyed as well as a pasta dish and the grilled chicken gorgonzola. Drinks were reasonably priced. All in all a nice dinner with friends and a fantastic view of the city.
We have recommended Prima Vista to friends in the past. It would be nice to get a chit for the parking. Parking is much more difficult than in the past, and at premium restaurant prices, that would be a nice perk.
The carpet is looking a little shopworn.
Service (Allie) was very good, and the food is worth another trip back.
Excellent meal and Deborah provided excellent service
Birthday dinner. Amazing view and menu
As usual Prima Vista had Veal...a fovorite of mine and my husband's. It was delicious. We had the ravioli appetizer which could have had a couple more ravioli. But it was good.
Thanks for the acknowledgement of our Anniversary and the free dessert.
Beautiful view and wonderful service. With the exception of the gnocchi...loved it!!
