Food was very good, service was excellent, very nice place and not noisy.
Awesome place. Food is good and service is excellent
They added a restaurant tax and a liquor tax plus the regular tax. It was unbelievable.
A real find! Great food at a reasonable price. No loud background noise so could carry on a conversation . Wait staff friendly and efficient.
We took our family of 6 there for Christmas Eve and we went before the busy time period so we had great server attention and the food was hot and didn't have to wait long. We had shrimp scampi, fettuccine alfredo with chicken, veal parmigiana, chicken parmigiana and a special dish not on the menu suggested by our server. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The cheese garlic bread was a good starter. The lemon cake and cannoli were great ways to end the meal. We will go back.
We eat here with friend probably every 2 months and each time our service is excellent and the food always very good.
Good italian food, reasonably priced with attentive service. Would like to see a more extensive wine list. Location can be deceiving, and the inside is kind of old, but again, the food was good.
This is such a great place! The food is AWESOME and the staff are friendly and attentive. LOVE Primavera!!!! Looking forward to the next time!!!
Primavera is a hidden gem in Harford County! It's not fancy, but the food is delicious! They have amazing bruschetta and homemade salad dressings. The entrees are made to order, and they allow most requests/substitutions. The Rose sauce is excellent, and so are the meatballs and eggplant. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are large; you'll most likely have leftovers. My husband and I have been to Primavera several times; the restaurant is never too crowded, even during our most recent visit on a Friday evening. However, the service and food are always excellent. Highly recommend!
The night we visited was the most busy we have ever seen Primavera (we go there frequently). Despite that, the service was "very good" as opposed to its usual "outstanding". The staff was hustling. Our server later apologized; we responded we understood fully. (Is the Saturday evening before a super bowl known for busy restaurants? My spouse had the Pork Osso Bucco and I had the Sausage Napolitana. Both were excellent. We did not visit the bar so can not comment on that. We will definitely be going back.
I love this restaurant -- it's no wonder I keep coming back! The food is ALWAYS amazing and the service is courteous and friendly! I'm already looking forward to the next time!
We had eaten here a number of times after it first opened. Then about 3 years ago we had several really mediocre meals in a row and stopped going. However, this is the second time recently that we have eaten at Primavera and both meals were very good. It is attractive, the food was not world class but was definitely above average. Everyone enjoyed their meal so each one was good. The Italian bread was fresh and crusty & the salads with house dressing were crisp and not drowning in the dressing. Service was attentive. Definitely worth a visit.
The food was served quickly and was hot when delivered to the table. The lunch portion was just the right size. The price was reasonable. The service was good.
The Food is always consistent and they are willing to work with you to accommodate your tastes. Will substitute different sauces if you want, also the pasta of your choice.
If you're looking for a no frills restaurant with great food this is for you. The service was outstanding and the food was delicious.
The food here is ALWAYS hot and delicious. They are more than accommodating to "customize" your order.
Visiting from NYC, we were all very pleased by the food & service.
Friends of ours prefer to meet at this restaurant to catch up; we have been doing about 2-3x a year. Every time we have been here the food has been very good and the service equally good. I am surprised that this restaurant isn't mobbed. The prices are reasonable too. We would eat here more often but prefer not to eat heavy Italian very often.
We heard that this restaurant was excellent, but we wouldn't know. We made a reservation and were seated quickly. There were 2 other tables being served at this time. The hostess said that our server would be over soon and asked if we wanted drinks. We told her that we did, but she said she could only get us water or soda; the server would take our drink orders. We waited for more than 15 minutes- the server walked by several times but never stopped at our table. So, we decided that if it we couldn't even orders drink in this amount of time this probably wasn't the restaurant for us. We went to the Italian restaurant in Joppatown and had excellent service there.
Food here is the typical Italian American restaurant but with higher prices. For the atmosphere I can't believe they charge $10.00 for a small martini. The bill for two of us with no coffee nor dessert was over $100.00. That was so only one drink and one glass of wine! Seems a little pricey for a place that's more like a bar.
Being from NYC, we eat out a lot. The food in this place reminds me of some in my Manhattan neighborhood. Pizza, very good, and the some of the best Chicken Francaise I have had.
The best mozzarella sticks and marinara appetizer. My husband and I always order mozzarella sticks when we dine out at various restaurants. Primavera has the best. The cheese is melted perfectly and the batter is light and flaky. They melted into your mouth
For dinner I enjoyed a chicken Caesar salad. It was a perfect salad. The romaine was crispy and the chicken was tender. My husband ordered spaghetti with meatballs he said his meal was delicious.
Our server was great. She kept our drinks full and made sure the food arrived hot.
Large portions, good prices and friendly staff. The chicken marsala was one of the best I've had anywhere.
The food here is great, the service good.
Reservation was ready for six people, ample room at table. A bit noisy -- large party right next to ours. Food delicious, good selection. Service was very good. Would recommend.
Primavera is my favorite restaurant. I love the relaxed atmosphere......diners seem to be comfortable in jeans or dressed up. The noise level in the restaurant area allows you to effectively converse with your dining partner(s). Service is always friendly and the best part....I have never had a bad meal!!!
The food was good but we didn't get any bread like it said on the menu. By the time this was noticed, the meal was close to over so there was no point!
Food was very hot and delicious.
Good place for meeting with friends
Great place to eat and not have to wait in long lines, as so many Harford County restaurants do put you through this. Chef is very accommodating.
