Primarily Prime Rib - South Point Casino Ratings and Reviews
First time here. It was a wonderful experience. Our service was wonderful and the food was delicious. It was a great value. Everybody loved the prime rib. I have to recommend the Mac and cheese with short rib appetizer. Outstanding. The wine list is reasonably priced also which was wonderful. We will definitely go back
We had 6 diners and 5 ordered the prime rib. We all agreed the prime rib was average, not what you would expect from a restaurant that specializes in prime rib. Salt and pepper helped bring out the flavor, but it was still average. The service was outstanding. I would highly recommend Don Vito's in Southpoint, but would hesitate to recommend Primarily Prime Rib.
We made reservations and took some friends for their first visit there. They were really impressed. Food was great, although my wife's portion was smaller than previous visits. Only other negative was even though we made reservations our seats were right by front entrance - best seating is near middle to far end of room - if we had just dropped by I would have expected it but not with reservations.
Great food and environment. The service was fast and folks were super friendly. Kind to all races and treated guest with respect and top priorities. Prime rib 16 oz was think and cooked to perfection. This location is great for a romantic dinner or even just a nice meal with the family or friends. The prices were low and well worth the meal.
The food was amazing as usual but we didn't get our regular server and there was a huge difference in our opinion. Forgot an appetizer, had to ask for my drink that was ordered when seated (they brought Everyone else theirs) then it was the most watered down iced tea ever...needless to say we will be back as long as Donna is working ;)
Ordered a martini, wasn't good at all! Server ended up getting it from outside bar. Prime rib was not tender, although the flavor was there, it was disappointing. Can't swap the julienne veggies for other veggies, which makes no sense. They don't have cucumbers. Literally only 5 appetizer choices... strange. Server was nice and tried to accommodate.
Been twice now, first time was excellent, this time not so much. Wife ordered end cut medium well and mine was medium. Her's came out ultra well done and mine came out raw. First time we ordered the same cuts and they were done to perfection. Questioned the waiter and he dismissed it out of hand.
Not sure to recommend or not, from our first visit, you best, best prime i have ever eaten. Second visit put us off so badly it makes us question ever going again...
The food won't blow you away, but is quite good, A great place for a civilized meal, well spaced large tables, you wont have to raise your voice to talk, cloth linens, a special bottle of decent wine at featured price and you might even smile when you see the bill
We have always like this restaurant, the Primarily Prime Rib, but this time seemed even better. They have a new Manager Stephanie Golightly who is charming. The food is standard prime rib fare but they have banquettes which bring you back to dining in the days of yore, just where I like to be. It was a special night in a romantic alcove with one of the best bottles of wine I have had in years. The prime rib, spinach salad and baked potato were wonderful and the meal was affordable. No wonder it is hard to get in...every table was full. We loved it.
This was second visit to this fine restaurant. This time with First time to Vegas friends. They were so impressed that they intend on returning with their business co-workers next month. Service was VERY attentive to our every need and entire restaurant staff was exceptional and I look forward to my next visit. People seemed to be enjoying themselves as we did.I HIGHLY recommend this fine restaurant.
We have eaten at many high end restaurants as well as cafe's. We shared our meal which we usually, at a cost of $10.00 extra. Usually at places where you pay to share you each get your choice of soup or salad and potato/rice. Here all we got was separate plates.
But the worst thing of all was the way they separated the Prime Rib. It was cut in 2 length wise so the (slice) was thin it should have been cut n half width wise or at least explained to us how it was done by the waiter.
We were very disappointed in the meat it was very chewy but the creamed spinach was very good.
Sorry but the waiters service and care was mediocre as he didn't seem to care if we were happy/pleased or not, served and forgotten
Every time we come to Las Vegas we save a night for dinner at Primarily Prime Rib because it is absolutely delicious food for a very fair price. It is a quiet, rather old-time restaurant with quality food. A wonderful place to calm down with good Manhattans, fantastic quality prime rib cut very generously, and a good fresh salad fixed table side for a non-frantic, calm meal. Service is professional and not rushed. All in all, a nice adult restaurant with calm, quiet background music--and all for a reasonable price.
