Pricci Ratings and Reviews
Pregnant women beware, none of their cheeses are pasteurized. They import them Italy, and won’t verify if even the hard cheeses are pasteurized. This is the first restaurant I’ve eaten at in two entire pregnancies that did not serve pasteurized cheeses - I didn’t even know it was legal to serve unpasteurized cheeses in the US. I went there for the pizza and pasta dishes at 9 months pregnant, and after inquiring about the cheeses, could not eat most of the contents of the menu. Otherwise the food was fine, but you can get high quality Italian food at many other places in Atlanta that also offer a safer menu and a more modern atmosphere. This place is like stepping back into the 80s.
This was one of the finest restaurant experiences I have had in years. The food, ambience and service were outstanding! Our waiter, Matthew, did everything right, from helping us make ideal selections to providing courteous and complete service. My husband and I were planning a nice date night that became a memorable evening. We can’t wait to go back!
If ever there is a safe bet in dining in Atlanta, it is Pricci. Excellent service, delicious food beautifully presented, very fair pricing, and a management team that checks to make sure everything runs smoothly. And a place where you can actually have a conversation with your other dining guests.
My wife and I come here for everyone of our anniversaries. It started when we lived close by but now even though it is a little bit of a far drive for us it is worth every second. We try to get something new everytime and have yet to find something we didn't love. The gnocchi pasta dish was probably my favorite pasta dish I have had to date, from anywhere. The service is second to none and it is obvious that the chef takes great pride in his work. We highly recommend it to everyone and can't wait for the next opportunity to make it back!
Perfect place to Celebrate a friend’s retirement. Everything the waiter recommended was great. We loved the kale salad with sherry vinaigrette dressing and pine nuts. The lasagna was one of the best I have ever had. My friends raves about the veal parmigiana. We also shared a side of fried artichoke that was delicious. Thursday night is 1/2 off a bottle of wine. We enjoyed a Chianti recommended by the waiter. Service was great.
Had received a lot of recommendations to try this restaurant but was underwhelmed. Overpriced and over-rated in my opinion. Veal was excellent but lobster was salty and fishy, pasta dishes were very good to excellent. But way overpriced and there are simply too many other great Italian restaurants with much better ambiance and value. Decor is aged and tired. Needs a serious refresh. As do the waiters' white jackets.
So disappointed with our New Years Eve dinner experience. Pricci is usually a solid 5 star experience but they fell short last night. When I made our reservation a week in advanced I first called to ask if they were serving a full dinner menu since we had two kids and I was told yes. I also received a call from the restaurant confirming our reservation and again told they had a full menu. When we arrived for our 6 pm dinner we were given a four course dinner menu at $90 per person. When I asked our waiter if there were options for kids he said no. We decided to leave. On our way out I told the hostesses we were leaving and I hoped we wouldn’t be charged the reservation fee. She said she didn’t know but asked one of the owners. He then came over and talked to us and offered spaghetti and meatballs for the kids so we decided to stay. Things went downhill from there. We watched another table leave due to the same issue. We asked for the kids food to be served with our main course but it came out during our appetizers. Our server and overall service was poor from water refills, cocktails being delayed (we were seated in the bar area and the restaurant wasn’t even full) and food choices. It felt like the kitchen and staff were not on the same page. Very disappointed and probably won’t be back.
The food was excellent as usual but the service was, at best, passable. It took about 10-15 minutes to get all of our drinks which didn’t start things off well. Then my salad, a Cesar like the rest, didn’t come until about 5 minutes after all the others had been served. I’m not sure if the waiter had trouble hearing us, because we had a bit of a difficult time communicating with him. It wasn’t the usual Pricci experience.
