Pricci Ratings and Reviews
Pricci has been a go-to for us for years. The food had always been delicious and service terrific. This last visit was disappointing. The restaurant wasn't terribly busy, but the service was remarkably slow. Our waiter never came to check on us (and no offering of fresh parm) and everything took a really long time to arrive (bottle of wine, dinner...even the check!). My husband ordered the pasta off the special menu, only to have it cold in the center. My gnocchi came out and looked like mini meatballs instead of their little pillow shapes. Plus, one of our favorite appetizers (the grilled octopus) is now off the menu. Overall, we found the restaurant in need of a face-lift (like many other Buckhead Life restaurants these days).
It is time to renovate. I am a designer. It is dated. (: Love this place. Have gone there for 20 years and LOVE Chef Pero's talent.
4043450101 for my imput on design. You all know me very well. I am presently about to design one of the largest projects in Atlanta.
Not the best experience we've had at Pricci. Our server seemed to want to get us out quickly. Asked for our dinner order before even taking a drink order. Wanted to bring the check while we were still on dessert. The restaurant could use a refreshening. The chairs are worn and there was not support left in the chair.
Introduced new business associates to Pricci's . They loved it and I loved the deal we closed.
Can't rave enough about the attention to detail , the ambiance of Italy in midtown Atlanta, and of course the food was the best. It's always on my radar every trip I make to Atlanta.
Pricci was wonderful. The décor is slightly quirky, but the food was sublime. Among the best Italian restaurants we have ever eaten at. The gnocchi was excellent and the waiter allowed us to have split the it along with the orecchiette which was ever bit as good. The fish of the evening was moist and flavorful. We have seldom enjoyed a meal more. Don't pass up a chance to dine there.
I've been here several and each time it felt different. This was a celebratory dinner for my mate on a new promotion. It was her first time and it was okay but nothing special.
Our waiter was very lackluster, he barely gave us the specials for the night, he mumbled each time he spoke all with no enthusiasm.
We ordered the sole, which was very overpriced, he attempted to remove the bone from the fish at the table and it was like watching my 10 year old do it.
I was disappointed because it didn't meet my expectations as a celebratory evening.
I took my son and his wife out for a quickly arranged dinner. Our waiter (Matthew) was just outstanding....energetic, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, made great suggestions, attentive....but not bothersome. All three of us thought out entrees were excellent....as was the chanti, which Matthew recommended.
