Prezo Grille and Bar Ratings and Reviews
Made reservations for an early new years dinner with friends. Were seated right away. Service was excellent , Tracey was very friendly and attentive. Drinks were good. Ordered a couple of the specials both were very good. Had nice unhurried comfortable dinner. Will return again
This is our favorite local spot for a good meal. The risotto special that we ordered for our recent dinner here was outstanding with plenty of nicely seared scallops enhanced with mushrooms arugula and black pepper. Our server was professional yet pleasant.
Forgot what a great place Prezzo is. We came for lunch 2 days before Christmas, and what a treat. I had the chicken piccata, which was absolutely perfect. Nice and Lemony, lots of Capers, everything was delicious. My sister had the steak tips and she proclaimed the same thing - that they were great! My mother had the burger, and my niece had the tortellini special. Everything was perfectly prepared, the service was great, and we will be back.
We had a family holiday dinner before Christmas. Our server was great, table well located for a family with children, large portions. However the food was very salty. My saltimbocca was very salty and my husband complained about too much salt in the crispy chicken fontina. We have eaten here many times, but the kitchen was not paying attention to food prep that eveving. It was 5:30 and quiet.
I was also annoyed that the restaurant would not accept a $15.00 off 2 dinners because I was using a gift card, which I do not understand. The full price had been paid for the card in October so why am I not able to use a dining certificate which the restaurant had sent me in an email. Not appropriate.
Too many menus for food, specials, cocktails, wine, bottled beer, drafts. That being said, food was really good. Wait staff was attentive. I would have given more stars and I apologize for calling Prezo out on what so many fine establishments can do better at.......controlling flies and fruit flies. Nothing worse than sitting in a dining room trying to keep your personal space free from flying invaders.
We are new to the area, and decided to try Prezo. What a great surprise. My wife considers herself a "pizza snob" because of all the great pizzas she's had over the years. I was surprised and pleased (as so should Prezo) that she deemed this "THE BEST PIZZA EVER".
Highly recommended. Also, Open Table is a great idea because the restaurant was crowded when we got there, but our table was waiting for us at the requested time.
We will go back again soon!
A better than average dinner at one of our local go-to spots. The baked halibut was fresh and cooked perfectly. Chicken parm was good, and portion was generous enough to include leftover for another dinner. Wine-by-the-glass options are limited, but beer selection is good. We were grateful to be seated in a nearly empty dining room so we could enjoy a quiet meal in this restaurant which is typically too noisy for a normal conversation level. Our service was outstanding.
Awesome Pizza - they offer a 10" size if you are solo. I had extra sauce with bacon and beef. Best pizza of the year. The boneless buffalo strips are different and simply amazing. The only drawback is that the pours are measured - surprising since it is a "local" place.
I used to go here a lot but it just isn't the same anymore and after our last experience I wont return here ever again. The Menu changed and there aren't a lot of good choices anymore, and It is pricey for what you get. The only draft beer they have are Micro brews which isn't for everyone. Meghan who is one of the Managers is in my opinion inexperienced and should not be managing a restaurant, I wont go into details but we had an issue and she didn't do anything to resolve it, she was just giving us "canned" answers and you can tell she didn't know how to handle the problem.
Save your money and go somewhere better!
The food was very good our waitress was excellent. We were served our food very quickly. Hubby brought home half of his big portions. He had it next day it was very good. Reservations are recommended. Bar area is very noisy we dined in the dining room. Not a fan of loud crowds. It's a good restaurant.
The food was fantastic, however, it was SO noisy we couldn't even hear ourselves talk or hear the waitress! We were literally yelling over the noise to be heard and it was exhausting. Also, dessert took so long to come out that we had to take it to go. Not sure I'd go back even for the tasty food.
The fish in the Chiopino did not taste fresh. In one dish there was no haddock and the other person has a tiny piece of fish in his Chiopino.
The swordfish was over cooked and did not taste like swordfish.
I have had this restuarsnt catter before and the Italian food was very good. Too bad this was not a good experience for our company .
We have been coming here for many years. This time around the service was poor. We had two issues come up with our food. My daughter's steak tips tasted burnt. I told the waitress and she immediately became defensive and said the steak tips are chargrilled and should taste that way. Food should not taste burnt. The second issue was my husband found bones in his fish. We told the waitress and again she was defensive and said fish have bones. No, a prepared fish entree should not have bones. The one highlight of the evening was the manager who was very pleasant and she tried her best to rectify the situation which we really appreciated.
