Press Club is an architecture award-winning wine bar and lounge at the foot of the Four Seasons Hotel in San Francisco’s Financial District. We offer California’s finest wines, a handful of European gems & an ample selection of local beers.

Our menu of small plates changes with the seasons and our staff is always ready to recommend thoughtful pairings for the ultimate wine or beer experience.

Our seating arrangement is comprised of three bars and several lounge areas with sofas and coffee tables that allow for the most relaxed and upscale experience for tasting and socializing. The wine library, is the only lounge with a view of the Yerba Buena Lane, for those who like to enjoy even the last drop of sunshine and a slightly quieter atmosphere.

Made an open table reservation the night before, show up and the hostess says they don’t use open table for reservations when I clearly had a confirmation. Said they had no reserved tables and couldn’t accommodate us. Terrible service and management. This place sucks.

This place has declined greatly since my last visit a couple years ago. So bummed. First, service - they brought us food and drinks from table next to is several times and it began to be less funny each time. Walked past without looking a bunch and we had to get up to get attention and it wasn't even busy. Second, food. The charcutterie plate and cheese was the pits. We ate about half of it because we were starving but we both left disgusted. Rubbery, felt like it had been sitting out all day, low quality, proscuitto sliced way too thick, etc. How do you go away unsatisfied with sausages and cheese??!! We told the waitress and she blew it off, then the mgr later when we still got charged $47 for it. She said everyone else liked it so acted like we were just picky. Looking around we seemed like the only people in the bar over 25 so maybe that explains it? Third, wine tasting was good but no help from server. Only descriptor I got was "crisp" and only on one wine in the flight. Luckily, the wine we did have was delicious....only positive part of the expensive evening. Won't be goimg back unfortunately.

Great spot. A bit noisy. Happy Hour. Small plates are very good. Good spot for friends to meet after work. Would go back.

We made dinner of several small plates. Funky, night club environment. Food was very delicious and fun to share lots of wonderful tastes. Loved the wine flights!!

Overall very enjoyable. Only issue was seating. Wasn't planning on entertains my group sitting and eating on a sofa and cocktail tables. That was a surprise.

Took a pretty girl here for a first date. We walked out hand in hand, kissing, so I'd say it was a success. Great service, mediocre food (the kale pizza was so-so, the empanadas were better), good wine, comfortable couches with plenty of room to tease and flirt and get cozy. It was dead on a Sunday night, maybe 5 other couples in the whole place. So it was nice and quiet and we could relax, take our shoes off and be ourselves.

Press Club was a great location to meet up with my friends from college. The wine list was extensive and the staff was knowledgeable. The food was average and more for munching than an actual meal. If you are looking for dinner, eat at another restaurant first and then save your appetite for munchies and wine at Press Club. We had a great time and will definitely return!

Wow, I have been to a lot of places to try the food but Teresa is a Gem!. She totally educated us on the wines we were drinking and her service was amazing!! Really I work in Hospitality and Customer Service and this was top Koch!. I notified Maria the GM that it was my Anniversary and she really took the time to notice this special time for us and had Champagne ready for us as we sat down. Congrats to the Company to have such great employees like them!. Best, Mina
