   Great feel in the restaurant... outside is nice if not too cold out. Deviled eggs were great. Meatballs are the best!! There was a special grilled artichoke that was cook really well. Beef tartar was so good with egg on top ... too much for one person, shared with three of us. Wonderful wine selection too.

   The ‘chef’ doesn’t have the slightest idea how to cook a beef brisket. And the staff shouldn’t have put it on the menu.

   Third time here and it is always just meh. Service was friendly enough but we had to request a spoon and sugar for tea. French toast was delicious but had to request syrup and by the time we got it the French toast was cold. Beef sogu on polenta was tasty but on the oily side and the fried egg on top was a bit overcooked - would have been better poached. Not sure why some tables had white linen tablecloths and others didn’t. Choice of music for brunch was interesting - I mean, as a gen xer, I like The Clash as much as the next person but not during a “nice” brunch with my wife. (To clarify, I’m writing this a day after so maybe it wasn’t The Clash, but that’s what came to mind). Lots of places to choose from in Sf for a nice brunch and I plan on trying all of them before wasting my money on PSC again. Dining out is about the experience as much as the food and PSC lacked both.

   I had the petrale sole which was very expensive and mostly tasteless. I had to ask for salt and pepper. The smashed peas were also tasteless but I brought some home and they were much better today. I was with three other people and they liked the chicken and also the swordfish

    Brunch with a friend on a Sunday. We had a reservation, but they were running behind schedule by at least 20 minutes. We were a party of two, but they sat is at a table for four. Our table was next to the windows and the day was cold and rainy. I was wearing a layering wool sweater and jeans, but needed to have my coat on the entire time as the draft from the windows was freezing. Advice: Sit away from the windows if the weather is at all chilly.

    Noise level was too high. Service was slow: 20 or so for them to take our wine order, 40 minutes to take the food order and another 30-40 minutes to deliver the salad.

    This place is comfortable, reliable, has wonderful workers, and gets an A+ for outstanding efforts to sustain menu quality during very difficult times for the restaurant industry. Food supply chains have been badly disrupted and we may all never get back to pre-pandemic "normal" in quality and diversity of ingredients. However, this team managed to put a delicious meal on the table that was enjoyed by all, and do it with smiles and warm welcomes. That takes a lot of dedication and hard work these days.

    Thank you. Our server was kind to us and very prompt. The time from ordering to receiving the food was quick and the food quality was very good. We dine here often and this was one of the best days in terms of food quality. The chef(s) nailed the menu items we ordered.

    The main dining room and outdoor area are lovely spaces to dine. However, if you get put in what comes across as the "step children's" dining room, it is not so nice. It is a small room off of the main dining room. Also, our server tried to rush us out. He didn't ask if we wanted coffee and/or dessert. Just brought over the bill. We pushed back and had coffee and dessert. My friend asked for bread to have with her past and they brought her toast! Very odd. Toast and pasta? All in all, perhaps not worth the price which was $70 per person with 20% tip.

    Presidio Social Club inside the Presidio is beautifully located and has ample parking. Outdoor seating also available. We had the breakfast scramble, french toast and the croque madame - all very nice presented and good flavor. it can get loud inside as the restaurant gets crowded. our server was good but after food was delivered, they became scarce and we had to flag them down. overall, it we all had a nice time and a good meal. i would come here again.

    Our server was terrific, I wish I had gotten his name. We are two women who were getting together and talking (we were there for 4 hours) and he never rushed us. He was very attentive, kind and gentle in his reminders to move us along. He also helped me to find an earring that I had dropped and couldn't find.

    The food lacked flavor and the quality was no better than what you’d expect at a hospital cafeteria. The service wasn’t great either. When we asked our server for details of menu items they were unable to provide additional information. Once our order was placed, the food came out wrong and when we asked them to correct it, they brought out a new plate with the same mistake. All in all, the experience — everything from the menu and service to the execution and cleanliness of the bathroom — didn’t feel very thought out or taken care of. I wouldn’t go back if someone was buying me lunch.

    Our waitress was wearing a dirty looking cloth mask that was covering her chin but not her mouth or nose. I thought the food was a bit boring. Plain endive and with plain chicken salad and nothing else besides the salad dressing I had ordered on the side. Awfully simple for the price. Not as good as I could make at home.

    Have eaten here twice, once for brunch and once for dinner and it's been very cold each time. BRING A JACKET! The food has been underwhelming which is disappointing. My vegetable pasta was extremely dry, no sauce, I couldn't eat it which I've never experienced. Will never order that again. Service was good, and the busser who filled glasses did an exceptional job - that was the only stand out.

    This was our third time eating here. We had a lovely server, but the food wasn’t as good as the last two times. We both had Croque Madame, but the bechamel sauce wasn’t right, and the beignets were doughnuts. Perhaps most diners don’t know what to expect, but we won’t go again to pay high prices for non-authentic food.

    We used to love this place but the recent visit we turned a corner. Massively overpriced food for mediocre presentation and quality. It tastes fine but the value just isn't there for the price point. When you're paying that kind of premium for food it should be memorable, special, above average. Presidio Social Club isn't special any more.

    We used to come for the drinks and stay for the meatloaf. Meatloaf was therapeutic after a hard day. Now, the champagne is gone, the meatloaf is gone and the menu is meh. Last night, the chicken was good but the lentils underneath were burned. In eatable. Unfortunately, the wait staff didn’t return often enough to let them know until the bill came. We used to LOVE this place but it is lacking it’s zhuzh and service. Makes me sad.

    We had a late Sunday brunch on the back patio. Indoor seating wasn't available on the reservation site, although there was plenty of available seats visible inside. No big deal because it was a beautiful cool and clear sunny day so the outdoor tables were fine. The patio was popular and almost every table was taken. Unlike many of the other reviews, the service was relatively prompt and the wait staff was friendly and efficient. We started with some Bloody Mary's. They weren't on the beverage menu, but a nearby table was having them and so we followed suit and ordered some. The food selections with a starter of deviled eggs topped with smoked salmon, main entrees of a shrimp club sandwich and the egg scramble were great, both in presentation and taste. The food and drinks came out promptly but we didn't feel rushed. It was a nice way to have a weekend brunch at the Presidio.

    We went there several years ago and it was great. The food was mediocre and overpriced. My steak sandwich was ordered as medium rare but it arrived well done. and dry. I had to send it back. My cocktail was tiny maybe 2 oz and cost $18. Our wine was overpriced also. The Service was pleasant but we had to wait a longtime to order and main courses took a long time to arrive. I hope this restaurant cans get its act together and regain its great reputation. I also understand how hard it is for restaurants and stores to get help since the onset of the pandemic.
