This restaurant is a hidden gem, tucked away on a residential street. The ambience is lovely, both inside and the front porch for outdoor dining. The staff was very welcoming and attentive, the food was delicious and seasoned well. We definitely would return and recommend it to others.

We hosted a brunch for four out-of-town cousins. We wanted to try Preserved, as they had gotten very good reviews; and, they have plenty of parking (a rarity on the weekends in St. Augustine.). We had made reservations (a must) and we're checked in by the hostess. We were seated immediately upon arrival of our guests. The manager greeted us, poured water for the table and told us that Pam, our server, would be with us directly. Pam answered questions about the drinks menu; I had a shrubmosa- a filtered mixture of fresh fruit (blueberries) sugar syrup and cider vinegar, topped off with champagne. (The fruit flavor changes weekly.). The drink was very refreshing and delicious. Another table mate had a mimosa, which she said was excellent. The coffee was excellent, as well. Many of us began with orders of scrumptious scones, which are made in-house, and served with strawberry preserves. All but one of us had a version of eggs Benedict - eggs with smoked salmon, eggs with a fried oyster. The Hollandaise sauce was perfect! One member of our party had French toast , made with banana nut bread garnished with a medley of fresh berries. All of us thoroughly enjoyed the meal. We received excellent service from Pam. We were not rushed and had a most delghtful time. We will definitely be back for brunch. We are planning to have supper here soon, as well.

We reserved outdoor seating on a gorgeous Sunday morning! Tried the shrubmosa and mimosa- yummy! Started with very tasty scones with homemade strawberry tarragon preserves. The shrimp and grits were incredible with the creamed corn. My husband got the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were outstanding! Grant was our server- he was attentive and helped put up the umbrella when the sun got a little warm. I would definitely go back!

I thought the ambiance and good were outstanding. My wife got the Cheshire pork chop and it the waitress stated the chef prepares it to medium and if that was ok. My wife and I do not like pork underdone so she requested well done, when it came out it was a very think chop so we were worried it would be over done and dry assuming because of the thickness the chef had to cook it longer than he was comfortable with. Well we were extremely surprised and happy that the chop was not only well done but still moist and juicy and not overdone, we were very impressed. I got the short rib and was not disappointed in just how tender it was. We also started with the pork belly and were blown away, it was buttery and delicious while the skin on top was crisp and not chewy. We can not wait to go back again, awesome experience.

We went for our anniversary and put a request for quiet table and they seated us at cramped table next to serving station. I asked about a substitution on a side item and was told no it's not how the chef intended the flavor profile. Okay...my husband asked for his steak prepared a certain way and was told it's not recommended. Which is fine, but if you would enjoy your 40.00 filet more cooked to your liking then why not? Food was good but not fabulous. Creme Bruille was burned on top, and Brussel sprouts I didn't want were over cooked. So chef needs to check that flavor profile before serving.

Lighting too low could not read menu without a flashlight menu font too small. Local caught fish cane from the Carolinas. Rice texture was not like risotto as the waitress explained but was like cream of wheat.

Very good service and food was excellent. Suggest the menu be changed more often, though.

What a great restaurant! The food is innovative and delicious, the ambiance lovely and comfortable, the wine list superb, and the service excellent. Absolutely the best restaurant in Saint Augustine. We are from New York City, and this restaurant is excellent even by New York standards. It is not inexpensive, but it’s definitely worth the price! Highly recommend!

We are always delighted to dine here. Everything is stellar - service, ambiance, food, wine. I do prefer to dine inside vs. outside. I find the street activity to be distracting when I sit on the porch. Love, love Preserved!

One of St. Augustine's "finest dinning establishments", however we find it a bit on the "pricy side". Not hard for a couple to drop $250 (including tip) for a fine evening of dinning.
