My husband and I dined here for our anniversary. Everything was perfect, from the way we were first greeted to the meal and the service. Could not have asked for a more beautiful way to spend our last night in St Augustine. Don’t miss an opportunity to enjoy this gem.

Incredibly disappointed in Preserved. Went there last year and it was great. So I brought a group of people . The rice middlins were under cooked...I mean hard in the center. They were so over salted I couldn't eat them. $29 for that plate. Another person in our party had black eyed peas that were so hard that they were inedible. The oysters were not freshly shucked. Are there total amateurs back in the kitchen? You can't serve food at that price point and have basic things be so flawed. I can go to Chipotle Mexican Grill and get rice and beans that are cooked properly.
On a positive note...our server was great! The wine program here is great. Im bummed that I probably won't come back

We were so happily surprised at the quality of food and service at this resteraunt given it reasonable price point. We have had food not nearly as good at high end resturaunts with much higher price points. Our compilments to the chef and our knowledgeable server who helped us make excellent selections.

While our meal and server were phenomenal, the hostess was not friendly at first. We arrived about 25 minutes early and acknowledged we were indeed early. She wasn’t friendly and said we’d need to wait. Clearly there were at least 7 open tables outside and we had requested outside seating. It was raining slightly and I asked if there was a bar or a place to wait. She simply said “we don’t have a bar.” We looked around and saw some wet patio seats off the veranda. We walked there only to be told our table was ready. The food and service was great, while our 1st impression was not based on the hostess.

The food and staff were both exceptional. The only concern (for the amount of money our table for 4 spent) was that they placed us right in front of the kitchen with the window open. So my husband was getting large amounts of steam and food smells in his face all evening, as well as hearing the kitchen conversations. Luckily, the temperature outside wasn’t too hot and my husband didn’t complain, but on a summer evening, this is not a desirable or comfortable table to be seated at.

Preserved if a restaurant in the front of a house that was once owned by Thomas Jefferson's Granddaughter. The house has been restored and feels new. The menu is small and emphasizes local food. All of the food was good. Some was great. This is a nice place to go for upscale food with a casual dress code.

Exceptional experience. Was given complimentary wine or dessert for birthday celebration. Food, service and wine were outstanding! The mushroom soup was to die for, as was the creme brûlée! Thank you for a lovely night out!

We dined at a table for two on the porch, secluded, quiet conversation for a special occasion. We could not have asked for anything more! Historic old house with piped in music matching the period in history. Duck was delicious and the bouillabaisse was also Very good, consisting of bites of grouper, shrimp, mussels and scallops and a nice light spicy sauce with grilled baguette. Highly recommend the fudge torte with ice cream and a raspberry delicious! Will return! Enjoyed it because it was not the typical restaurant atmosphere! The service was over the top! Plenty of servers

I went here recently for my mother’s birthday and from start to finish it was fantastic. We had a lovely Sancerre, I had the cauliflower and white asparagus soup and my mom had the tomato tartare. Both delicious. For dinner she had the salmon special and I had the duck breast. Also delicious. For dessert they sent out a creme brûlée that was fantastic. Service was great, execution and flavors all great. The one thing that was silly was that there food is served in large, low bowls and the handle on the knife is so heavy that no matter what you do it slides to the center of the plate. I know it’s silly but I can’t be the only one who had a handle covered in delicious sauce! Can’t wait to go back.

Fantastic mean and good wine selection. We sat out in the porch which was a bit noisy because the neighbor was mowing his lawn. But as soon as food arrived it didn’t matter. Great place

Great fine dining experience in St. Augustine. Third time for us in the last year and always excellent. The only thing I recommend is to expand the menu with more varied selections. The menu is somewhat limited and has not changed in the last year.

Arrived at Preserved on time and they were welcoming and asked what the 2 Birthday people preferred -"A glass of wine or creme brulee for their special day". How thoughtful! The food was wonderful. The oysters and the cauliflower soup were outstanding Two of us had Duck Breast and it matched our previous duck breast favorite that we had in Dublin, Ireland. Kudos to the chef. Two others had the braised beef ribs and said it was excellent. They have a great wine list. The creme brulee was yummy. We had a leisurely dinner and the service was top notch. Anthony was our head waiter and he was very personal and saw to it that everything was to our liking. Highly reccommend. We will go back on our next visit to St. Augustine!

The only problem is "open table" says you are getting outside seating but when you go to the restaurant they say "open table" has a problem with their site defaulting to outside seating when it really not available. Frustrating when outside seating is what I wanted but I was denied by the Preserve Restaurant. The two businesses really need to get on the same page!!!

The food was heavenly. The only reason I gave a 4 instead of a 5 was that the poached eggs on the Eggs Benedict were cold & the yolks were a bit overcooked. The flavors were all there, the hollandaise sauce was excellent & the bite of the arugula was a delicious added flavor. The roasted oysters were perfect & the bacon on top was a great addition. My first time having a shrub Mimosa & its was surprisingly scrumptious. Sitting outside on a beautiful morning with an amazing breakfast was a great way to start my Saturday!

Service and food were excellent. Excellent wine list. I am never disappointed. Only negative is the noise level inside. It can be a little overwhelming. This time we selected outside dining and it was perfect. Weather permitting we will dine outside in the future

Preserved Restaurant is on my list of places to return on my next trip to St. Augustine. 5 stars, 10/10 would recommend. I wish I had a more refined taste to fully appreciate this restaurant. This is no offense to my group or to the restaurant, entrees were better suited to a mature palate. My group, myself included, very much enjoyed widening our tastes. My party dined outside on a beautiful deck surrounded by beautiful landscaping and lighting. I am glad we dined outside. Inside the restaurant had more intimate lighting, better suited for smaller parties. Location is great, a highlight to the neighborhood. Our meals ranged from short rib, mussels, fish of the day and oysters. All dishes were delicious. Desert included flour-less chocolate tart and not one but two creme brulee for the table to share. No one in my party has a particular taste for wine but the selection looked impressive. The manager was very attentive as well as the rest of the staff, including Cocoa, the very well behaved and beautiful outdoor cat.

This is such a great restaurant - wonderful food. Locally sourced or made in house. Everything was delicious. The service is an added bonus. We were eating at preserved before a concert and the service was well paced - we had plenty of time to get to the concert but never felt our courses were rushed. Just don’t have enough good things to say!!
