Incredible food and ambiance. Perfect brunch date! I highly recommend the smoked salmon omelet...so much flavor!
The evening started out slightly on the pretentious side with the lackluster hostess basically ignoring us while she was on the phone. She never made eye contact with us and truthfully looked like she hated her job. Her lack of professionalism almost made us walk away but luckily a wonderfully attentive server came over and greeted us. I’m glad we stayed because the ambiance and food were absolutely delightful. Our server was lovely as well. I would definitely return.
Great food and wonderful service!
Great atmosphere (sat inside). Service was great and the food was fantastic.
The food was rather bland. Definitely not worth the money.
great place for brunch but be sure to make a reservation. Wonderful entrees - order the eggs benedict with smoked salmon- so delish! Really enjoyed this restaurant and look forward to returning
food was delicious, but portions were tiny. price was higher than average for comparable restaurants in area. server was nice, but person attending the desk out front was not friendly. servers all wore ear pieces to communicate, which seemed quite pretentious and a bit ridiculous for a place that really isn't very large (a good manager with good staff certainly shouldn't need earpieces).
My fiancé and I went to brunch here on Sunday to celebrate our one year engagement anniversary. They treated us to champagne to start our meal which was so nice! I had the best quiche I have ever had in my life and the service was fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be back! I am not one to write reviews but this place is definitely worthy!
Best steak and eggs we have ever had and the breakfast potatoes were to die for!
The atmosphere was very cozy and quaint. The staff from beginning to end was very timely and proactive to our needs. The food was absolutely delightful. I was very pleased with my decision to join them for brunch seeing as though I was from another state.
Best bouillabaisse I’ve ever tasted. We sat outside and were delighted it was both comfortable and quiet! Highly recommend!
Preserved checks all the boxes! Delicious food, atmospheric patio and top notch Service. Mikey was our server and had great wine advice. Wished I lived in St Augustine so I could be a regular
Our server Nich was outstanding.
Food selections were delicious.
Great night. Enjoyed every minute.
Amazing service and delicious food! I highly recommend. Great vegetarian/vegan options
We sat on the porch, the weather was beautiful, our wait staff was attentive and fantastic. It was a perfect dinner spot for a one-night romantic get away in St Augustine. My wife had Shrimp & Grits. I had the Sheepshead, which as a Floridian for 48 years and fisherman, its not often you see this fish on menus. Both dishes and the wine were absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend Preserved Restaurant to anyone.
Best pork chop EVER!
We had a nice dinner in this pretty, historic building. My vegetarian options were tasty. But I have to say that the dishes are extremely rich, they do use a huge amount of cream and butter.
We discovered the Preserved just recently and it proved to be a perfect anniversary dinner venue. The cuisine was exceptional and the service was top flight!
My wife and I recommend it very highly and plan t return with guests soon!!
Loved egg Benedict sauce! My father said it was worth to attend! Awesome Service
This was my second time for brunch. I took my guests and it did not disappoint. I would 100% recommend this restaurant.
A dining gem in a gem of a city. A very memorable meal.
We loved that this restaurant was away from the busy areas of old town St Augustine. We were seated outdoors during comfortable weather and was a very romantic type of setting.
We had the mussels as a starter- very good, lots of garlic flavor. For entrees, we had the pork chop, scallops, and duck between the four of us. Pork chop was excellent, scallops and duck were good but more average. Overall for cost, this was a little overpriced.
Note there is only beer and wine, but it’s a very extensive wine menu.
Our second time here. We love it! The charcuterie board is amazing. Service fantastic.
Always wonderful at Preserved. We sat in their outdoor courtyard. They’ve installed heating lights above each individual table - genius. We were cozy and comfy and setting was intimate.
Service was spectacular.
Food out of this world as always. I had the vegetable shepherds’ pie and my partner had the special of the eve, a ribeye. Their Brussels sprouts were incredible.
For dessert their creek brûlée never disappoints. One of the few remaining restaurants who takes the time to warm the interior of the brûlée! so you’re not eating cold creme brûlée which isn’t nearly as enjoyable.
Highly recommend. We’ve eaten there for brunch lunch and dinner and always rave about the entire experience 💝🙌🏻
A return visit for us. Excellent all around.
Absolutely fantastic food. The sea scallops were the best I’ve ever had. Wonderful service and amazing ambiance. Recommend sitting on the porch
Great food and service!
Always a lovely experience. Great food, great service, lovely ambiance.
I had high hopes for this restaurant as it’s got a great setup and cute courtyard dining. Unfortunately, our experience was less than stellar with the service lacking the most. We were there 2 hours just for a charcuterie board and entrees. Upon arrival the hostess greeted us and quickly got us seated. They noted my shellfish allergy and told the server. My husband mentioned it was my birthday and the server said they’d be bringing me a creme brûlée dessert to celebrate (they never did). The charcuterie board took a bit to come out but we had already ordered our main entrees so I assumed those would follow shortly, I was wrong. It was about 45 mins later that we received our dishes. Shrimp and grits for my husband and (cold) hangar steak for me. The steak was ok but not as seasoned as I’d prefer. For sides we got the creamed spinach, which was good, and the mushrooms and brussel sprouts, which were in a sauce and not the roasted version I was expecting. Following entrees, we went ahead and asked for the check. There was no sense of urgency on service throughout our meal and I felt like I was inconveniencing our server by asking for the bill. Overall, great ambiance but not worth the wait, food, or price.
Always a great meal at Preserved. There were four of us and two had the Hanger Steak. (Wonderful!). One had the roast chicken, also wonderful. I had the fresh catch (flounder) and it was probably the best rendition of flounder that I have ever had. We'll be back.
We enjoyed our romantic dinner on Thanksgiving eve, on the outside porch. The server was knowledgable and had a good sense of humor, as well as a good sense of what food and drink we desired that evening. We love the way Preserved does their charcuterie board. That, and the dessert, were our dining highlights for the evening.
Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience at Preserved. Our main entrees took 1 1/2 hours to get served. At first, the staff kept saying it was being plated and would be right out. 20 minutes later (twice) there was no food served. As the night went on and we waited longer and longer, the waitstaff then avoided our table - which made things even worse. When we did receive our entrees, one was completely cold and the other was moderately warm. I did speak to the manager at the end. While he did try compensate us for our unfortunate experience and I hate to leave this review, this isn't the type of experience one expects at this type of restaurant. It's unfortunate since we were very much looking forward to our meal there.
Delicious! Amazing food, in a quaint little home within the neighborhood. Enjoyed outdoor seating in the courtyard. Very friendly wait staff --enjoyable!
We sat on the porch and there wasn’t any block for the sun beating down on us. It made for a bad experience along with our food being overcooked. Ordered burgers medium and they came out well done.
Great food, but not very kid friendly. Shrimp & grits was fresh, locally caught. Bacon & cheese omelet is must have.
This place came highly recommended, and certainly did not disappoint. Every aspect was amazing, from the service, the ambiance, and the food. We would definitely return on a future visit.
Great night out with my wife!
My wife and I went to St. Augustine for a date weekend.
We were lucky enough to get a table at Preserved and it did not disappoint. The staff was knowledgeable and attentive but, the food was amazing. We will go back next time we are in St. Augustine and are only upset we don’t live closer to eat at Preserved more often.
Delicious food and great service. Recommend.
This place is spectacular! Food and service is top notch.
