Great place for lunch & after hours. Wouldn't recommend if you're trying to talk business during lunch. Extremely noisy!!
We loved the Precinct Kitchen + Bar (we ate in the restaurant section). The menu was very creative, the food was beautifully presented, and our waiter (Omar) was excellent. If you want a casual dinner spot with great food and service, this is it!
The food and service are the best. The Branzino and clam boil are to die for.
Great, quick meal for a business lunch.
Great meal! Great service! Great cocktails!
Fine meal in a nice setting. Restaurant is below street level in Lowe's hotel. Prices higher than $
So fun and great service, menu. We loved it. We were a group of older women and young daughters and so fun for all.
Great food and service. We will definitely be going back the next time we are in Boston.
Our server was so incredibly professional. He made our meal! I’m sorry I cannot remember the gentleman‘s name, but I think he said he has been there for about 15 years. The space is cool, the only issue is the noise from the bar From the after work crowd, it was packed and looked like fun if you were in that phase of life.
Very good service and food is always good. Can be noisy but that’s part of the atmosphere. If you’re in a rush during lunch, they can get you in/out within 45 minutes.
My wife & I ate prior to a concert at Fenway- atmosphere -Great, Food-excellent menu offered lots of variety, Staff-Top Notch very attentive & efficient... we were so impressed with dinner we went back the following day for Brunch.. Outstanding!! Omelette was awesome & the coffee pancakes a must for anyone who enjoys coffee!!! Enjoy!
I was thrilled to find out that mostly everything on the menu can be gluten free. The waiter, Greg, was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating and gave excellent service. I would eat here again.
We went for Sunday breakfast. Quick service, great food. I had its version of Eggs Benedict. The hollandaise was amazing.
We love brunch here. Its never too crowded or crazy. The drinks are good, the food is consistently good, and the sunken patio feel is very cool. I don't love eating at a hotel restaurant, but precinct feels more refined and defined than most.
I was not very impressed with the menu. The atmosphere was okay. I liked the live music on the patio. The crab cakes were probably the worst I’d ever had and I was just not overall excited about any of the dinner items anyone in our group ordered. There was a little too much “creative license” with the food. The fries were good? This was just a general OKAY restaurant and experience. Service was not bad.
Loved it, on the pricier side but worth it. Great ambiance, not too busy ever and the food was fantastic
We went to the Precint when we were in Boston on vacation. It was very good. At first, we did not expect to be impressed. There was no one at the host stand when we arrived and it took a while for anyone to show up. Our table was not ready. We were asked to sit at the bar, which we couldn't do because we had an 11-year old with us and in Boston, they are not allowed to sit at the bar. Once we were finally seated, however, things turned around. We had a lovely table outside on a beautiful evening and our waitress was very good. The restaurant was very accommodating. There was nothing on the main menu that the child wanted to eat, so they allowed her to order off the bar menu to get chicken wings and fries. My husband wanted a steak, but didn't like the sides that came with it. He preferred the sides that came with my cod. They accommodated that request, which is highly unusual. The food was delicious. The cod and the steak were perfectly cooked. The risotto that we both had as a side dish was excellent. We had an antipasto board for 2 before dinner and it was enough for 4. We brought it back to our hotel and had it for breakfast the next morning. My only complaint once we were seated is that there was live music on the other side of the restaurant that we couldn't hear because of the music coming from inside the restaurant. The music bled over and the band playing outside at the bar was better than the selection of recorded music they had inside the restaurant. Otherwise, a great evening and one of the best meals we had in Boston.
We were on our way to a concert, and luckily this was only a short walk from the hotel. The waiter was very friendly and assurd us that we would have plenty of time to make it. The next time you're in Boston you should make the effort to dine here. It's actually in an old Police Station.
The food and service were excellent! We sat in the patio area , which was a bit noisy from the traffic and the table was so big, I found it difficult to talk to the people across from us. Otherwise I enjoyed the dinner.
We looked everywhere for a nice dinner for our trip to Boston, and when we found the Precinct Kitchen + Bar we were so excited! Prices were reasonable and looked like it had everything on our list. Everything we had was amazing, and the ambiance was to die for. Low lit, candles on each table, prompt service, quiet music. We sat inside but the outdoor seating looked excellent as well. We both had a cocktail, soup and full meal with sides for $50 a piece, and everything we ate was absolutely amazing. I would strongly recommend Precinct to anyone looking for a great meal out right off Boylston street!
The servers were very friendly but the service was slow - they were slow to take and fill our drink orders. Appetizers were slow to arrive but timing from appetizer to entree was perfect.
They kindly saved me a table for outside dining on a beautiful day - great service, great food, great ambience. This is a neighborhood favorite.
Great food, ambiance & service! A perfect 10 all around!
The crab cakes were delicious but the tomatoes were too vinegary. I would have preferred if the potatoes were warm.
I have been here once before and the experience was just as wonderful. Great food, great service and great ambiance.
Loved that Precinct had gluten free options and were indicated right on the menu. Also offered delicious gf bread which is not an option in many other restaurants. I highly recommend Precinct to anyone but especially those who suffer from celiac or a gluten sensitivity.
We had an amazing birthday dinner outside! Service was outstanding, the food was excellent - an incredible evening!
Cool place, outstanding food
We had a great night at Precinct. This was a late birthday celebration for a group of 5 adults. Very attentive and professional staff...our server was outstanding! He offered the option of a half portion of salad for an appetizer, and that was absolutely the way to go. Two people in my group had the lobster roll, which they both LOVED, and my fish dish (cod) was amazing, with wonderful saffron risotto. One person in our party got filet mignon, which was cooked to perfection. Low level of noise (even with the patio doors open - we sat inside). I'd recommend it and look forward to returning.
Great for business lunch; not too loud so as to need to talk over one another.
Came here for lunch. We shared a cheese board, a bowl of mussels, and some soup and salad. The mussels were incredible and it was a gigantic portion. The cheese was very good, but the server did not explain which cheese was which. Unfortunately, the server was also unable to answer some other questions about the menu.
Food was super salty. Had to send stark back that was well done rather than medium.
we had lunch before the theater. It was an interesting menu. I've had dinner there, and they have the best chicken wings...yum...but they're not on the lunch menu...sigh
The food was pretty mediocre, however the service was great. All the staff was attentive, helpful and very polite, and they were also not overbearing and checking in on us 24/7. However when it came to the food and drinks it was all underwhelming. We came for brunch and I had the Lobster Cobb Salad which was pretty boring (way too much lettuce, not enough good toppings). My date had the Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict. Again it was nothing to rave about, flavor-wise it was pretty bland. For a place like Precinct I would expect the food to be at least good, if not great.
We've been here in the past and its a great place for drinks, happy hour and snacks, but I wouldn't recommend the brunch.
Waitress went mia after we got our meal had to flag her down and almost missed a meeting
Superb in every way. Excellent food, venue, service. I asked for a martini with blue-cheese stuffed olives and though they were not standard offer, they stuffed the olives and voila!
Ate so much at our celebratory dinner that I wasn't hungry until late afternoon the next day.
Don't miss - make it a point to go when in Boston. Can't wait to return.
Good food and service. Dessert was so so. Had the Boston Cream Pie. Very small serving and not what expected.
Mother’s Day! They have my mom a beautiful red rose which was a really sweet touch. 🌹
Fantastic meal, great food, exceptional service. Slight mix up on the order (wrong type of Benedict arrived) but was immediately remedied and well worth a couple minutes wait for the correction. Strongly recommend the crab cake eggs benedict, amazing! Tasty twist on a classic. Basket of pastries also very good including “the best corn muffin I’ve ever had” (-my brother). A little pricey, but as long as you’re getting fancier breakfast it feels appropriate. $16+ for pancakes would be a little much but the Benedict’s and other nicer options are worth it. Relatively quiet on Mother’s Day, so staff could be attentive and food showed the love. We’ll be back!
