Another excellent experience at Precinct. Love the dining room here as it is small enough to feel intimate, yet large enough to allow for a comfortable and reasonable amount of space between tables. Menu offerings are consistently well-prepared and presented. Our server this time was truly exceptional—professional, courteous, attentive, and efficient. One of the best service experiences I’ve had in Boston. Look forward to returning.

Service, food, and ambience was incredible. We went with another couple. Our server, Greg, allowed us to take our time - didn’t rush us to place our orders and to enjoy our evening together. He was old school and it was great. The food was delicious. We started with the combo charcuterie board which was stacked with meats and cheeses. My husband had the clam chowder, which was delicious and not too heavy. The truffle fries were excellent and tasty. We will definitely return.

We had a pre-theater dinner. Service was excellent. Meals were good overall, but one dish (fried clams) was overdone and inedible. They didn't charge for the meal, but it was unfortunate that we were time-limited and could not get a replacement. Other meals were excellent.

Well prepared food, portions large enough for sharing, good service, average room.

Went here for restaurant week and it was pretty good; nothing spectacular. There was a massive party sitting next to us that was moving the tables around to get out of their seats, but I think other parts of the restaurant would've been quieter.

Very basic eats. We all only ate half of our plates. We weren't impressed but did not expect much since it was one of the only places with no wait for Sunday brunch

Precinct is a hidden gem inside the Loews Boston Hotel. Entrance is through the bar area, so at first you might think it's really more of a bar than a restaurant, but keep going and you'll find a comfortable, spacious dining area on the other side. I really appreciate that the tables are not jammed in on top of one another--just the right amount of space between you and your fellow diners. The menu offers a nice mix of entrees but also includes burgers, charcuterie boards, salads, and other quick bites for those who prefer something lighter or less formal. Folks at our table ordered the lobster roll, the Moroccan eggplant, and fish & chips. Everyone enjoyed their food. Service was excellent--professional, courteous, and efficient. Cocktails were great as well. Prices are reasonable compared to other Back Bay restaurants of similar quality. Highly recommended!

Had a great time as usual. We’re starting to feel like regulars since we have had the same exceptional waiter three times so far this month. Good fun cocktails, nice varied menu. Amazing charcuterie board, yummy cheese!! Perfect location for getting together with our millennial children. Great lobster roll! Reasonably priced for such a trendy restaurant. Love the ambiance and on street parking is usually available. Don’t change!!!!

I brought my girlfriend here for a Valentine's Day lunch and everything we ordered was wonderful. Our waitress was delightful and so accommodating--we ordered the short-rib panini and the reuben and she offered to split them in half for both of us to share, and did the same thing for the sides as well! We also enjoyed the cocktails and the flatbread very much!

Visited for the last day of the GOT pop up bar, had an excellent bartender, drinks and app at the bar, then had reservations for dinner, enjoyed a mix of the “Love is in the air” valentine meal options and regular menu options. The duck breast was outstanding. Had an excellent waiter and the manager checked in with us regularly and made recommendations. Will definitely return!

I went for Sunday Brunch. The entree prices for brunch are a little outrageous. The standard 2-egg, home fries, toast and bacon was $18! Although the quality was definitely above the normal restaurant, $18 was still very high. Besides price, the experience was great. But the value is definitely concerning.

Let's start with the callback from the restaurant to confirm the reservation, whomever called left a VM and couldn't understand what she was saying , very bad message. My reservation was for 7:45 we set at 8pm, nobody came to greet the table until 8:25 and was the water guy, after waiting for 35 minutes I called the host and asked him to put it an order fro drinks and appetizers. overall the restaurant does have a great ambiance and the menu was decent, however my option wasn't the best, my friends were happy with their food.

Great atmosphere and excellent service on New Year's Eve. Menu is very good with plenty of options on both mid to high end prices. Definite recommend for bringing a dinner date and for after work drinks, bites.

I ate here with my boyfriend and we loved our waiter, Greg! I have dietary restrictions (can’t eat gluten or dairy) and he was so accommodating. He knew the menu inside and out and worked with the kitchen to make a delicious meal that didn’t make me sick. Between the service, the food and the atmosphere, this is my new favorite restaurant in Boston!

Overall good experience. We had a lunch reservation and were seated immediately. Service was quick and efficient and we were in and out in an hour without feeling rushed. Menu and food were fine. Only detraction is noise level, which was high, but I'd definitely come back.
