Graduation dinner. Amazing service! We loved the Precinct. We shared the calamari and beef tartare to start - beef tartare was amazing, calamari was ok. Three of us got the filet (amazing for $35) and my girlfriend got the scallops. The corn sauce with the scallops was delicious. Other tables were quite loud which was distracting, but that’s not the restaurants fault. Will definitely return again!
Service was outstanding, food was amazing and very fun atmosphere. We went on a Thursday evening. It was very busy but patio waitress was very attentive checked back on us several times. We went into dinner at 6. Waiter was wonderful and food was excellent.would definitely recommend and go again. Price was really reasonable as well.
Great for brunch The Lobster Benedict is a must.
Did not realize it was in the Loew's. Overpriced. Small portions. Average food.
Nice ambiance, varied menu, and professional service. Octopus was so good!
Dinner was exceptional. Our server Omar was professional and had extensive knowledge of the menu. I am gluten-free and it’s is one of the best menus I have seen in the city. I had written in the open table notes that we were celebrating 3 of my girlfriends’ birthdays and he surprised us with a dessert and candle!
We have given this place a couple of tries and while the atmosphere and service are very nice, the food would be good if it wasn’t that awfully salty. The steak tartare was toxically salty so even though it was otherwise excellent, we simply couldn’t eat it. Some of the other dishes were also very salty but at least edible. We eat out virtually all the time and I have never had such an experience with a number of things on the menu. Such a pity since the food selection is actually quite lovely.
Great food, outstanding service and a bit of Boston history! Highly recommended for an enjoyable breakfast. Very comfortable atmosphere and the waitstaff were on it!
Very disappointed in the craft cocktails. My octopus appetizer was way over cooked and the burgers were sadly lacking flavor. I ordered my burger rare and they served it Med-well. The service was friendly. The bar area looked fun.
Caesar salad was wilted and one of the worst I’ve had.
I came to Boston to pack up my daughter after her freshman year....she and I are vegetarian. She accused me of ordering a real burger! but no, it was a brilliant fake! You will never go back to meat again if all veg burgers are like this...give it a try? delicious!
Gluten free pancakes were awesome!
Energetic place, we got seated in back where we could hear each other. Great drinks, tasty food, my wife loved her tuna and my burger was excellent. Always a surprise when a hotel restaurant is actually good.
Our waiter was beyond perfect. He was thoughtful, professional, knowledgeable and unobtrusive while still being helpful. We loved ever item we ordered! The whole experience (with the exception of the noise level which was just a little too high for us over 60 year olds who are starting to have difficulty hearing conversation among a din) was delightful.
Came here for brunch and was able to get seated right away even though my friend was running late. Their brunch and drinks are yummy and the server we had greeted me by name and was very attentive and accommodating (pregnant friend with dietary restrictions).
Amazing place and the waiter Greg is the best!
Excellent portions. Tasty healthy menu. Nice atmosphere.
Service was excellent. Lobster risotto and spicy tuna appetizer were excellent. The whole fish was not cooked well though.
The place is great and food very good but portions a but small for the price.
The food was delicious but the service was outstanding! I would highly recommend Precinct!
Good food but a bit noisy. Ask for a table in the corner in the back unless you want it to feel like a cafeteria
Amazing food and service!!!
The food was divine! Oh so yummy! I'd definitely return. I also LOVED the decor. The subway tile and open kitchen were a plus.
I smelled the saffron when I walked in. Our server greeted us with enthusiasm. The food was outstanding, we really enjoyed ourselves.
Always appreciate how consistently good the food is and how efficient and attentive the service is.
Work dinner for 4 people. The entire experience was great. Service was excellent. Lobster roll was outstanding. Would definitely return.
Night before the Boston Marathon, the place was surprisingly empty. Had an excellent server (Omar). Caesar salad and roasted chicken were very good; the short ribs were too fatty. Decent selection of wine and a wide variety of desserts. Overall a decent place for a business dinner.
Although the food was really good, the
Great experience, good food!
Wait for food was long and food came out cold
Excellent for business luncheon, fast efficient courteous service. Decent menu, wish there were more vegetarian options or fish that was not fried. Burgers are very good and their fries are yummy.
Consistently excellent. Precinct has become one of our favorite restaurants in Boston. We've had the same server for several visits now and he is always professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. The quality of the food is equally impressive. This time we enjoyed the filet mignon and the baked haddock. Both were delicious and cooked to perfection. Cocktails and wine selection are also good. Look forward to returning again soon.
Great evening. Good food, good wine. We asked for a round table and got one. All in all a great evening.
Great menu, great service. French onion soup and seafood dishes are highly recommended. Charcuterie board could have more cheese.
Food and service are excellent.
Gregg our waiter is outstanding. He is extremely professional, responsive and friendly.
Just so great. I needed to increase the size of my party ... twice from the original number. I was skeptical that it would work when I had to leave a message in that regard. But lo and behold, they called me back by the end of the day. It was their pleasure to add one more guest to the table. And the second time I called to add another two bodies, my Open Table reservation was corrected to a party of 11 from 9. Just fantastic. Then, we arrived to a wonderful roomy table and Omar, an incredibly attentive waiter. We immediately asked for separate checks which we know can go one of two ways, and he made it happen seamlessly. Each and every member of our group raved about their food, the ambiance, the service. Highly recommend Precinct Kitchen & Bar!!!
Cool spot, food was good. Went for Sunday brunch with family and was happy with service and ambiance. A little sticker shock but that’s to be expected in back bay in a trendy spot. Overall I would recommend to a friend.
Delicious food, fun drinks and plenty of gluten-free options. Highly recommended!
