Pravda Ratings and Reviews
Cool place to drink but not the best place to eat its okay but if your out drinking and hungry its okay food is average nothing crazy for NYC. Staff was okay. It was very busy we had a large group and I just felt like there was some lousy unhelpful staff members. Overall the space is cool and the DJ was nice but it was also hot and crammed. Cool spot for younger crowd.
Although my visit to NYC started off with a stolen purse in another location Pravda turned something bad into something good. The staff was very personable and helpful. They went above & beyond with excellent service, food, & of course vodka. I will return to NYC & to Pravda.
Delightful cocktails at expected NYC prices. The jazz band was lovely, but difficult to hear over the din resonating throughout the restaurant. The server was slow and inattentive, but the bus boy was on top of his game. An empty glass or plate did not linger to consume table space or appear unsightly.
I took my husband to Pravda with a voucher through Gilt City and it was so fun! We got the caviar tasting for 2 to start, which was such a cool experience. We had never had different kinds of caviar with all the accompaniments and two shots of vodka. It was so delicious! They also have many fun, creative cocktails to try. My husband had the sliders with fries and really liked it. I got the salmon with potato cakes. Super yummy! The two girls who took care of us were awesome! I wish I had taken note of their names. One was the hostess and one was our server. Our server gave us recommendations on drinks and we loved them. We had such a great time and will definitely be back.
I had arranged for a large party to celebrate a friend's birthday. When I checked in (admittedly late), first, the receptionists told me they did not have a reservation under my name and then that I was the first one to arrive and that my table had been given away since we were late. So, my wife and I went to wait at the bar for a drink to await the rest of our party. After about 30 minutes or more, one of my friends emerges from the back where he has been with the rest of our party at the table under my name for about 45 minutes. Highly frustrating. A very bad start to the evening.
Amazing vodka drinks and cocktails - horse radish Bloody Mary will blow your mind away! Zakuski apertizers pricey but delicious, the smoked salmon melts in your mouth. Our party of 3 were rushed through the whole service although restaurant was not full at any point. We would have ordered more drinks in between courses but second course arrived while we were still eating the first one. Server kept asking if we were done and hovered over us all the time but did not ask if wanted to order anything else. They lost on revenue! This will still be my must go place when in NYC next time.
The hostess was so rude and disrespectful we had to walk out! She was condescending and acted above the world. I would never recommend anyone ever stepping foot inside The restaurant wa basically empty and she still acted as if she was too busy an above the world
