Prasino - La Grange
Prasino emphasizes seasonal, local, and organic food whenever possible. Its commitment to sustainability is incorporated in Prasino's eco-chic design.
We celebrate our wedding anniversary same day. Overall great experience.
Everything was great except the music. It was too loud and made it difficult to have conversation.
Quality of food has gone down quite a bit but the prices have gone up. We used to be frequent customers but we will not return.
The cod, surf & turf, beet salad and the warm butter cake with the vanilla gelato all are amazing. Love this place.
Love their food! Thank you.
Any restaurant that serves swiss chard deserves a second try. This time I will be more specific with my preferences and substitutions. Thank you!
Shared several appetizers, very good.
Server was great.
Fresh ingredients, inventive and wide variety of menu items. Creative take on healthy options. This is a go to place for us. We love it!
Everything was fantastic—the food, the service, knowledge of wait staff. Hostess was very welcoming. We had a variety of different things. My 8-year old grandson had an order of perfectly done beef skewers followed by the whole order of mussels, which he ate every one.
My daughter had the poke and side of beets and the street corn, also loved her choices.
I ordered the artichoke and spinach dip that we loved and I ordered for my entree the scallops with risotto and edamame which were outstanding.
For dessert my daughter got the butter cake that she said was superb. Always count on a great meal at Prasino.
Very pleasant overall. Two in the party were late, but then the waitress kept us waiting a long time after they finally arrived. She was nive enough to at leadt bring us some grilled bread though.
We will be back to try mire items on the menu. I like a thinner crust on flatbread.
Hands down the BEST omelette I have ever had. I had the veg-out omelette with ham, which was unbelievably good. Can’t recommend this place enough, we will return!
My first time here. Great service. Loved the fig flatbread. I was happy to see some of the salads offered half order size. Will definitely be back.
My family prefers different meal options, including vegan. We thought the menu offers great options for vegans. I also love their focus on sustainability. Nice location and great service.
Good vegan options. Food is good. But $5 for a class of grapefruit juice is a bit high. Expensive.
What a cute place. Food was delicious, service was really good. We weren’t rushed along which was great when catching up with friends.
We’ll definitely be going back
As always, such a lovely environment, with amazing food and outstanding service!
I have had lunch here several times and have always enjoyed the food. This was my first time for dinner. It did not disappoint. The service was as exceptional as the food. The only thing that could have made the experience better was the ambiance. The restaurant is quite bright and could have been toned down a bit for dinner time.
My wife and I dined here for lunch. We both enjoyed the ambiance. Waitstaff was attentive was a nice cadence to the flow of our experience.
Prices were a tad high. We asked about some of the side dishes and were told they were incredibly small. For the amount of food we were shown, they didn't seem worth it.
The fig and prosciutto flatbread was incredible. We would return and try a lot more on their menu.
We dined at Prasino on a Friday evening. We were a party of six and were pleased that they sat us at a round table, which is always the best shape for conversation.
The service was impeccable. Our waiter (I wish I recall his name!) was attentive but not pushy. He gave us just the right amount of time when we weren’t ready to order and asked him to give us a few more minutes.
Four out of six in the group had a signature cocktail before dinner and the menu was extensive enough that everyone found something appealing and we all tried something different. I have the organic gin cocktail and it was delicious.
The entrees were delicious and plentiful. Those who had lobster ravioli loved it. The lobster flavor doesn’t get lost in the cream-based sauce, which is plentiful, but light and not pasty. I had the curry rice bowl with salmon, which was cooked to perfection and not at all over cooked. My only preference would be more of that tasty curry sauce. My friend ordered the cod and she really liked it (and she’s a picky eater). Lovely presentation too — piled atop accompaniments. Another friend had a flatbread pizza, which was enough for two.
I rated “ambiance” 3 stars. The noise leve is a bit high as there isn’t much to absorb sound and it seemed loud despite not being 100% full. But prices are reasonable for what you get and food quality excellent. I’d definitely go back again!
It was great. Enjoyed as usual! Salmon salad was delicious
It was delicious!
I would recommend the restaurant BUT it was so crowded and noisy at Sunday brunch you could barely hear the person sitting across the table. I don’t like screaming over crepes and coffee. I’d just change the timing. Or perhaps go on a different day.
Awesome cute place for breakfast - great staff good food about $100 for 5 with tip.
Great Bloody Mary drinks. They always have very good cuts of meat. The Thai chicken with yellow sauce is my go to. And it is 3 servings worth of food for me, that helps the 20 dollar price. But it it so mouth watering good. Nothing is heavy or fake. I feel like I ate well after. Marija was our server and had some good suggestions. We were well taken care of by her and that is huge part of the overall experience.
Creative menu of fresh, healthy foods. High marks for burgers and short ribs. Interesting cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks.
Great food & cocktails! Friendly wait staff!
First of all, I feel that the birthday bottle of Proseco email sent on my birthday was very deceiving. It sounded like you were going to receive a full bottle of Proseco as a birthday greeting but instead it's really a glass. They were refering to the mini bottle. The email for a "bottle" was one of the reasons we went to Parsino's that night.
The food was very disappointing. We ordered turkey burgers with potatoes. There literally was only 3 half baked potatoe pieces on our plates and the meal had no flavor. We all will probably think twice about coming back here for dinner.
Very noisy but we were there at a peak time. Our server was great and the food and wine delicious.
Only 2 of the entrees were really enjoyable. Portions very large, I think menu tries to do too many things. Better to do fewer things well.
I made a reservation but still had to wait roughly 20 minutes to be seated. Otherwise I have no complaints.
Food quality and service is excellent. Friendly staff and some unique items on the menu.
Everything was lovely, but the food may not have been prepared/cooked properly.
We dined on a quiet Tuesday night and sat in one of the side booths. The service was attentive and the fish tacos were delicious.
Great food, ambiance and service! A unique breakfast place.
Loved the location of and ambiance of this restaurant. Also loved the concept. My food, although well presented in a unique manner could have been hotter. Portion size is not consistent between dishes. Despite little things, I would recommend.
This was the 3rd time I have been to Prasino and was disappointed. First the waitress rushed us we were visiting with family we hadn't seen in a while and were just trying to enjoy and take our time. Second when the food arrived a couple of the orders were not done properly. Third the waitress wanted us to pay so she could cash out because her shift was over and she needed to leave....not very professional.
atmosphere was lovely. We were greeted right away. Food was amazing and just the right amount. had 2 signature cocktails and they were wonderful. going back to try the appetizers.
I've been to Prasino several times, for lunch and dinner and the food is consistently tasty. The beet salads, the chilaquiles, and the short rib skillet are outstanding.
We loved the Restaurant Week menu at Prasino. Service was a little slow but food was outstanding.
