About
Great food. Not as expensive as I remember. Server was a lot of fun. Look for specials/discounts.
We were there with a group of 10! Clients from mostly Asia! More than half only had very little command with the english language! It took a while to translate the menue and have all questions answered! There was never any rush or impatience! The food was awesome and so were the deserts! The service was great ! We could not have picked a better location!
Food was excellent service was average
We were visiting Santa Fe and the concierge recommended Pranzo. It has delicious Italian food and great service.
FOUND ON OPEN TABLE PUBLIC FREE PARKING CLOSE MONTEZUMA STREE CURVES INTO SHOPPING AREA NOT FROM SANTA FE ALMOST DID NOT FIND IT MEAT BOARD EXCELLENT PATAS ( BOTH_) VERY GOOD VERY FRIENDLY AND EFFICIENT STAFF HAPPY WE FOUND IT
Absolutely delicious! Unique and wonderful food!
Food and service was great. We were upstairs, in the David Geist Cabaret. Great music, delightful entertainer.
Great service & food. Nice place for quiet Italian dinner.
Excellent menu selection and tasty food. We eat at Pranzos evert time we come to Santa Fe and want a nice meal. We had dinnet last week, but lunch is good also.
Pranzo delivers a very appealing menu & delicious food at reasonable prices. Entree salads can be hard to find on Santa Fe menus & are thus much appreciated at Pranzo. Pastas & more substantial entrees are excellent. Nice choices on wines by the glass too. We dine there quite often & we always depart happy & satisfied.
Always a comfortable reliably-good experience. Our go-to restaurant as a couple and with friends. Good wine and drinks, good food, good service, comfortable dining area. We went here twice this week, with friends!
The is a neighborhood place for us...good as always.
I've enjoyed every meal I've ever had at Pranzo--and there have been quite a few. This time, we took a friend here for her birthday. She tends to be a light eater when it comes to evening meals so we chose to do Appetizers and Desserts and it worked out perfectly. They even accommodated our two little ones, which I can't say for most higher-end restaurants in Santa Fe, but then what else would you expect from a place that has drawing paper as a tablecloth. Perfect! Fantastic food, fancy atmosphere without feeling elitist, and friendly staff. The mark of a great restaurant in my book.
Best Chicken fettuccini I’ve ever had!
Vacationing in Santa Fe. Wanted something different. Sommelier understood the wine we wanted, and was able to find a wine a company sub.
Pranzo is our favorite restaurant in Santa Fe. Quality of food and preparation is tops. Servers are wonderful. Great bar with excellent happy hour which features a really terrific early bird dinner. You cannot go wrong here!
Waited a half hour before anyone greeted us or took or drinks .. Then another half hour before the drinks came.. We were there 2 and half hours. I ordered meatballs got pasta prosciutto, didn't want to wait another hour so said nothing.
The food, as always, was very good.
The service was poor. I understand we had a new waiter, and it showed.
It took much too long to have our bottle of wine delivered to the table. We had to ask twice for the bread. One of the entrees was delivered to the wrong table.
Food was good however, service was not . It started out ok, but soon felt as if we were forgotten
went there 3 times in a week, first 2 great, last time service was horrible.
My friend and I meet here for dinner on Tuesday every two weeks and spend a leisurely couple of hour talking about life. It's perfect for that.
Great food!
Been coming here for 30 years! What can I say? It’s comfortable!
Always love eating at Pranzo when I'm in town. Consistent quality and service with excellent specials.
As Santa Fe locals, we get in a rut and return time and again to our favorites. So, we ventured out for Date Night to Pranzo, having heard friends speak positively about it. The food was luscious, the service impeccable, but we were very disappointed that the live music was upstairs and we were seated on the first floor. We didn't know when we booked through Open Table to request a table where the music was available. We had seen the ads in our local paper and thought the entire restaurant had the gift of live music. Alas, not the case. We may return, but will definitely ask for a table upstairs. And, we'll know to expect shorts, ball caps, and a casual atmosphere.
Love our neighborhood Italian bistro! Will continue to return many times!
We had an Open Table reservation and the place was maybe one-third full. We were seated at an awkward table sticking out into the traffic isle. I asked the hostess to seat us at a better table, and she said they were all taken. I said we had a reservation and she replied "Everyone does." I said "Just move us, please, rather than argue." She did. The place never did fill up and tables remained open around us through the evening. The floor manager came by and asked if there were a problem. I let her know the hostess had been mouthy.
Food was good, but is there really a good reason to not move a customer, when there are plenty of open tables? Why spoil an evening?
It was outstanding!
We got our appetizer and salads right away, and then had to wait too long for our main dishes. We had a 6pm reservation so maybe they got slammed by other patrons. We got a nice booth for our party of 6 and not that close to other diners so the noise level was fine. The food was so-so, and not great value. They didn't have a couple wines we had originally selected. a little disappointing.
Excellent Service and great food.
This was a Mother's Day lunch. The food was delicious. The red chile oil was great. Not what I expected. Thought it was going to be spicy. It had a very distinct flavor. Next time I viist I will purchase some.
In town for a couple of days and looking for a good meal at a reasonable price. Hit on all accounts.
Good idea to have reservations as this place is very popular. The food and service were great. We would definitely make a repeat visit.
Pranzo staff are efficient, friendly, and very professional. A date night with my wife was made even more special with the ambience and great staff, especially Tomas our waiter.
We dined here for lunch and had a great meal and experience. The wait staff was very attentive but not over bearing. My husband had a pasta that was delicious and I had a panini. The portions were so good that we asked for take out boxes. We wanted to walk around a bit and asked if they would keep our food cool and we would come back. Greg was more than happy to accommodate, so I ordered the Tiramisu knowing I couldn’t finish it, but that could be boxed up as well! Highly recommend this restaurant!
Pranzo is a regular dining spot for us. The food is top drawer and service is great and caring. We also love the dining room’s warm ambiance and copious supply of booths.
The calamari seafood appetizer was plentiful and delicious as was the cioppino, and eggplant parm. Great attentive waiter.
Service was great! Food was delicious! Nice place overall.
GF pasta is just perfect and the bolgnese is great.
Great place as always. Magnificent service from Tomasz.
