My wife and I are staying at the Omni Montelucia for our anniversary and went to Prado for dinner. Everything was excellent. The service was outstanding, the food was delicious and they even made our dessert special with an edible piece of chocolate that said "Happy Anniversary." Looking forward to coming back and trying more of their extensive wine list.
We arrived and there was a beautiful handwritten note wishing us a happy anniversary. We sat at the Tapas Bar and Chef Balal and Chef Luis did an outstanding job with the tasting menu. The food was ridiculously delicious. Everything was perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection. Our server Derek was very friendly and attentive. Genuinely caring about our opinions on the food. The staff was very welcoming. Chef Balal was open to any and all questions. Wonderful experience. Looking forward to come back!
Awesome, as always.
The food was delicious, presented beautifully, and served by some of the most attentive servers you could ask for. This was my third or fourth time dining at Prado, and I will definitely go back.
A special place for early lunch or early dinner on the veranda ( against cropped bougainvillea ) with glorious views & water spouts.
The food is beautifully presented & lovely.
The service is VERY attentive & more than happy to please.
And - whenever we were there- there was NO noise. Just a pleasant hum.
Yes, I would recommend the restaurant.
Nice, beautiful setting
We had an 8pm reservation on a Monday night. We arrived at 7:45pm and were told we could not be seated until 8pm so that our "quality of service" would not be affected. No problem, we grab a drink at the bar and we are seated about 8:10pm. We didn't see a waiter for at least 15 minutes. Then when the waiter arrived, he was rushed and didn't seem to care much. We received our appetizer and salad at the same time. No one checked to see if we liked it. Then my husband received the wrong entree. So we shared my entree while waiting for his to arrive. Again, no one checked to see if we liked it. This was my husbands birthday so I would have liked it to be more special with a little something called SERVICE. I asked the water guy for another glass of wine as mine sat empty and then I reminded the waiter that it was my husbands birthday when he handed me the dessert menu (I hadn't seen him through the entire meal). The only saving grace is that the food was good. We won't be back though.
One of the finest upscale restaurants in the Phoenix, Paraduse Vslley, Scottsdale areas
We went here for our son’s 25th birthday. From the moment that we arrived viewing the beautiful venue, to the great service, and the outstanding food, we would recommend this as an outstanding restaurant.
The team at the Omni was awesome as usual. Chef Smile is an outstanding chef, and the servers and bartenders were great. Thank you Omni for making this evening so very special for my wife and I.
They have added paella to the menu. It used to only be a special. It is delicious and highly recommended. Their patio is great too.
The food was prepared impeccably. It’s visual appearance was appetizing and appealing. Our server was friendly and attentive. The overall ambiance was quiet and relaxing. Around 9:30, a rather large crowd entered the bar area and changed the overall ambience . We were very pleased with our night overall.
Food is spectacular! We had the sea bass and paella, both were delicious! Our server Leah was very knowledgeable about the food and wine menu and extremely friendly. Prado came highly recommended and rightfully so. We can’t wait to come back!
Had a wonderful evening celebrating my husbands birthday at Prado. We had a great server Amal who was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave us great recommendations. We started off with her recommendation of the Crispy Calamari which was absolutely amazing! For dinner my husband had the Sea-bass which he said just melted in his mouth and was the best Sea-bass he has ever had. It was served over roasted artichokes, fingerling potato’s, spinach all tossed with an amazing goat cheese cream sauce. I had the Short ribs which were to die for!!! Slow braised served over their house made potato gnocchi with a wonderful cream sauce and caramelized brussel sprouts. I’m a huge fan of short ribs and by far they know how to do it right here. Finished off the evening with Vanilla Bean creme brûlée which was the perfect way to end our evening. Definitely recommend Prado to anyone looking for a nice evening out where great food and service is given!
Delicious meal, with dishes ably representing multiple cuisines. The langoustines and pasta was fabulous, with perfect texture homemade pasta. Save room for dessert, several traditional dishes prepared with an innovative twist! We thoroughly enjoyed this meal, and the friendly and attentive service.
I loved this restaurant. Service was fantastic and the food was excellent. It is worth the trip.
Delicious food, outstanding service and beautiful ambiance. Perfect in every way!
Prato has been a Christmas Eve tradition. The resort is decorated beautifully... so good for pics. I was a little disappointed that there wasn’t live music... has been in years past. Food is always good. Sea Bass was exceptional.
I so wanted to like Prado. The building is beautiful The food was underwhelming to us.
Great tapas and wine list!
A little loud as it’s a party place but worth putting up with for wonderful food.
Paella was very tasty, weather was wonderful - great place for the girls' Christmas lunch! Will come back with my husband soon.
ate their 2 nights. first night service slow outside but short ribs great. 2nd night great service. the shrimp cocktail were small shrimp which have never seen in fine restaurant and bad value for the money. disappointing. steak was so so but my wife had sea bass which was great and other had chicken which he loved. overall good.
The restaurant ambience was cozy and inviting, the food was amazing and the staff was professional. We had the paella and braised ribs as our entree’s and both were outstanding. The only downsides were the price (which were not too bad, just smaller portions), and the weird hostess lady. She was awkward and made us feel a little uncomfortable. I would definitely recommend this place for business dinners, dates, or family dinners.
Katherine welcomed us with a warm greeting. Derek rocks and ensured we had a great experience. Our servers did a fabulous job. The food was excellent.
Apps came out quick but our entrees took forever - almost an hour to get our main dishes.
We waited 45 minutes for our entrees! Definitely not worth the wait.....
Bummer! This restaurant has gone down hill - FAST! We have eaten here over the years as its changed Chefs, etc. and the last two times, there were issues, but this visit was the worst. The wine was stale and was sent back. The server opened a new bottle and that one was fine. The service was OK, but not really attentive. The food is SO overpriced now for the quality and quantity. The scallops I ordered (3 came out on a plate for $35) - was more like an appetizer and was so over salted, we sent it back. Even the chef said it was over salted. They pacified me with soup - nice gesture, but I would have liked to have eaten my meal with my spouse. The other meal ordered was apparently good, but seriously? $55 for Sea Bass? I know it's from Japan, but it was the most expensive item on the menu and the portion size wasn't worth it by a long shot. We do like a good meal and expect quality when we go out, but this was beyond a disappointment! PRADO - bring back what you had going on - we miss you!
This is our “go-to” restaurant and we’re never disappointed.
One of my favorite places in Scottsdale at one of the most beautiful resorts in the country. Great service. Dinner by the fire. Amazing sea bass and a hot chocolate dessert that dreams are made of. The wine list is also nicely appointed...
Chef is fabulous
Great food choices
Ordered our steak medium rare plus, it came out medium well. Sent it back and the re-do was rare. Very disappointing. The waitress was nice enough to take it off our bill, but we were there to celebrate a birthday and unfortunately the experience was ruined.
Service was lacking but management comped desert and a drink which was a gesture in the right direction. We would probably not return even staying at the Omni again.
The short ribs were excellent, as was the berry crumble dessert. Service was ok but the quality of food made up for it.
Menu is limited and the service wasn't so great for an upscale restaurant. Very slow service and food did not come out as requested. Also, overpriced...side of fries was $6.
Great spot- wish live music was played longer. Could have made for a more vibrant atmosphere...
Food and service were good. The ambiance was spoiled by the large number of flies buzzing around our table.
Staff was very friendly, food was tasty and the service was excellent, It was our 20th wedding anniversary and we felt it was the perfect way to celebrate the important date, The food and service were so good we decided to eat breakfast there the following morning and we were not disappointed. Uncle Frank is a funny and great host and made us feel like family. We will be back
Stopped in for lunch this afternoon. Had the grilled chicken pesto sandwich with some hummus appetizer. Yum Yum Yum! The place wasn't very full so it was nice and quiet for lunch. Hope to return sometime soon.
Great restaurant, food and service were both excellent!
