Started with the medjool dates which were good if you like sting blue cheese notes. Generally dates have the blue cheese in them and then wrapped in bacon, however, Prado serves theirs with bacon wrapped dates sitting on a purée of blue cheese. This presentation causes the blue cheese to be the first to hit the palette, which I found a bit too strong for my liking. We then followed with the Prado Paella, which was VERY GOOD! Finished off with creme brûlée. All together a pleasurable dining experience at the Omni Resort.
The bar TVs face the main dinning room and MMA was on. Hard to enjoy dinner while such a violent sport was on.

Fuimos el dia 5 de Febrero con mi familia para celebrar el cumpleaños de mi esposo. Pedimos tapas de entrada que no estaban gustosas, ademas venían acompañadas de un pan que era viejo y lo tostaron. Luego le preguntamos al mesero si la paella valenciana se podia compartir al igual que el short ribs, El dijo que si y cuando llegaron los platos eran diminutos solo para porcion individual, quedamos con hambre, éramos 4 adultos y 2 ninos, al final cobraron la propina del 20% segun ellos por que éramos un grupo de 6 asi que contaron a los ninos como adultos. Los precios son extremedamente elevados para las porciones y la calidad de los platos. Muy mala experiencia. No volvemos nunca mas

Exquisite environs. Great service, menu but—it has funky choices. We ordered a seafood paella that was prepared with black rice. It wasn’t at all what we expected from the name.
Too earthy and not very flavorful, the presentation’s deep purple color to the entire dish was nothing like colorful paella, and the black rice overwhelmed the seafood and other ingredients.
Absolutely perfect! The food has so much complexity and the ambiance in the restaurant is wonderful!

It was one of the worst meals we had out in years. Short ribs were tasteless, or at best tasted like left overs, the paella was not paella, just sea food and poorly cooked rice!
The hit of the night was the bread and pesto!

The food was over-the-top good. My wife and I had two of the three paella dishes (we skipped the vegetarian paella). Wine list was great. Service was flawless. Ambiance was pleasant, but not memorable. Value was OK. I think I was paying a little more for the Paradise Valley address than for the food and ambiance.

If you are looking for a place with Ambience and a view of Camelback the Prado outdoor patio is perfect. The tapas menu was disappointing and the portions were small even for a tapas. You are better off ordering from the main menu. Service was impeccable.

The food was good and the servers were professional and attentive.
Great tapas. Drink was also excellent. Only negative was we had ordered Chorizo - among many other items - and the waitress came back to say that the chorizo had gluten and they didn’t want to serve it to us (since we are gluten intolerant). That was appreciated - but they still billed us for it. Partially my fault I guess for not checking the bill close enough.
While our waiter was outstanding, and the food was very good, the kitchen was severely backed up. It took over 2 hours for our 4 entrees to arrive and that was from a pre-set menu. The management did graciously comp one meal and a bottle of wine but the extremely long wait really ruined the evening. I understand it was a computer booking error, but I got 2 phone calls from the staff in the days prior to our reservation so clearly they had to be aware of the overbooking and could have been better prepared.
It was beautiful. I just have issue with all restaurants offering a “holiday” menu. Cuts down the choices for twice the price.

As always, a favorite of my wife and I. The menu hasn't changed in a while, but the execution and presentation of the dishes is on point.
My wife particularly likes the ambiance. Whether in the Main Dining room or on the al fresco patio, Prado delights the senses. The wood fired grill, the fireplaces, live music in an off-to-the-side seating area (loud enough to hear, but not take over your thoughts or distract from conversation) all combine for a great experience....

Disappointed in the food. Started with the Brie appetizer, which was a loaf of bread and maybe a tablespoon of Brie inside, so only the middle section of the bread had Brie, making it hard to share. The Paella was rice with dried out chicken and salmon on top. The benchmark of true Paella is the socarrat, crispy bottom on the Paella. Not here, it really was Spanish rice with some dried meat on top. I could only get myself to eat half of it. Other entrees were ok. The service was great and the atmosphere is very nice. Too bad the food was so average.
First, our waiter, Oliverio, was a perfect server- just excellent. His timing was impeccable and he answered all of our questions clearly.
This was Thanksgiving dinner for us and the food isn't like Mama used to make, but it was very good. The portions were certainly adequate and we didn't go home over-stuffed like we used to at family Thanksgivings.
My husband asked for all dark meat, rather than the white meat that was usually served, and was served large, juicy portions. He asked for more cranberry sauce and received it. As a piscetarian (one who doesn't eat meat, but does eat fish) I had the sea bass. It was the best ever - a big moist piece. Pumpkin pie was designer's PP. It was tasty, but not what we had hoped for.
Actually, we had a wonderful time and would do it again for sure.

This is quite possibly the best overall restaurant experience we have ever enjoyed. We ate tapas style. The server was very accommodating splitting salad into perfectly presented servings and presenting each dish with care and appropriate spacing. Alexander Valley blended red wine reasonably priced and consistent with wines of the region, Beet salad with arugula, exquisite blue cheese, candied pecans and and 2 well treated blueberries, lump crab with avocado and melt in your mouth port glazed short ribs with gnocchi and tiny squash. Each dish stimulating our taste buds in unique way and overall leaving us feeling we can hardly wait to come back.

Tapas and main menu food excellent. Paella Valenciana rocked! Only complain is that it took forever to get the food. I understand paella usually requires 45 min preparation but even the tapas to forever. Dinner for 2 took 2 hours - tapas, soup, main course, dessert.
The food was delicious - AGAIN!!! The views of camelback mountain from the patio dining area are spectacular. Prado is such a relaxing environment and the service is outstanding. Ask for Chris as a server and your meal will even be more perfect.

We went to Prada based on Open Table reviews for the highest rated tapas in Scottsdale, and it was amazing. There is a separate tapas menu - ask for it. The shrimp was hands down fabulous. My husband is not a shrimp fan, and he ordered a second. We’re already planning a trip back to Scottsdale in the summer and Prado is definitely on our dining list.

The restaurant the core and ambience are excellent very cozy the food was good but I would have to say that the portion lacked the true representation of a paella . Overall with service and Decour food taste drink menu of the restaurant is a good option
It’s very expensive and I didn’t feel the quality matched the price and sadly, the service wasn’t there. I think our table was an afterthought. It was a ridiculously long dinner with long (almost felt forgotten) breaks in between service.
Fantastic... chicken dish, and mushroom pasta won’t disappoint.

On vacation, my wife and I enjoyed an early Friday evening dinner at Prado. Just a beautiful setting, astride the lovely courtyard, lit palms, and fountains on a cool desert night. We both tried signature cocktails to start - fun and colorful. I was a little disappointed in the limited and (I thought unusual) selection of Spanish wines. But any disappointment was dispelled with our selection of tapas starters. We shared the baked Brie and stuffed Medjool dates with the very tasty small loaf of herb bread and basil/pesto spread. As an entree, we both enjoyed the braised short ribs - unbelievably tender and delicious - and the wild mushroom tagliatelle - so good and rich I forgot it was a vegetarian dish! A wonderful evening and dinner at an unforgettable venue.
