ate their 2 nights. first night service slow outside but short ribs great. 2nd night great service. the shrimp cocktail were small shrimp which have never seen in fine restaurant and bad value for the money. disappointing. steak was so so but my wife had sea bass which was great and other had chicken which he loved. overall good.
The restaurant ambience was cozy and inviting, the food was amazing and the staff was professional. We had the paella and braised ribs as our entree’s and both were outstanding. The only downsides were the price (which were not too bad, just smaller portions), and the weird hostess lady. She was awkward and made us feel a little uncomfortable. I would definitely recommend this place for business dinners, dates, or family dinners.
Bummer! This restaurant has gone down hill - FAST! We have eaten here over the years as its changed Chefs, etc. and the last two times, there were issues, but this visit was the worst. The wine was stale and was sent back. The server opened a new bottle and that one was fine. The service was OK, but not really attentive. The food is SO overpriced now for the quality and quantity. The scallops I ordered (3 came out on a plate for $35) - was more like an appetizer and was so over salted, we sent it back. Even the chef said it was over salted. They pacified me with soup - nice gesture, but I would have liked to have eaten my meal with my spouse. The other meal ordered was apparently good, but seriously? $55 for Sea Bass? I know it's from Japan, but it was the most expensive item on the menu and the portion size wasn't worth it by a long shot. We do like a good meal and expect quality when we go out, but this was beyond a disappointment! PRADO - bring back what you had going on - we miss you!
One of my favorite places in Scottsdale at one of the most beautiful resorts in the country. Great service. Dinner by the fire. Amazing sea bass and a hot chocolate dessert that dreams are made of. The wine list is also nicely appointed...
Ordered our steak medium rare plus, it came out medium well. Sent it back and the re-do was rare. Very disappointing. The waitress was nice enough to take it off our bill, but we were there to celebrate a birthday and unfortunately the experience was ruined.
Staff was very friendly,food was tasty and the service was excellent, It was our 20th wedding anniversary and we felt it was the perfect way to celebrate the important date, The food and service were so good we decided to eat breakfast there the following morning and we were not disappointed. Uncle Frank is a funny and great host and made us feel like family.We will be back
Pricey - but on par with many resort fine dining options. The chairs at the dining tables were very short and you sink into them so they sit even shorter. So the overall dining experience was awkward. There was visible conflict between the managers and the waitstaff which made the whole thing doubly awkward. The waitstaff was grate but the management was awful and pushy. Some person who was not our server came up to the table to take our order without our server knowing and disrupted the entire flow of dinner. Even though the cuisine was adequate - I would not recommend Prado for dinner. Too much is off kilter to justify he price.
Dined at this restaurant several times and always have an excellent experience, most recently celebrated my wife's birthday. Olivier has been our waiter many times and he is superb. They always deliver top notch service and the food is always prepared perfectly. Their menu changes at various times so you always have options to try something new. Can't say more about this fine restaurant and look forward to our next experience there.
First time to this restaurant and it was a wonderful surprise. We loved the food with its Moroccan influence. Very imaginative. One feels like you are walking into a hotel in Casablanca. The chef came out to introduce himself and he is from Morocco. Leah, our server, was great and very helpful.

Stayed at the resort and wanted to try the restaurant. Patio was gorgeous but it was too hot to eat outside. Both of our meals were well prepared and presented and the staff was very attentive. Atmosphere was great, nice for a special occasion.
there was one other couple in the rest. No one to greet us or tell us where to sit. A person putting silverware on tables told us to sit anywhere. The food was good but took almost an hour to receive it with no other patrons in the place. Waitress came to ck on us once. I would not come back.
At first disappointed that I reserved a table at the window and was taken to a booth. Derek took note after seating us at a booth and came back and asked if we would like to move as a window table would be available shortly. I decided to stay but that was very attentive of Derek.
I then asked for 3 cherries in my drink and it came with one. Imal quickly corrected the error once I pointed out the error (drink delivered by hostess, odd).
The Japanese Sea Bass was one of the best dishes I have had in the valley. Superb!
Overall, good experience and food.
Ate at Prado while attending a conference. Service by Olivero was outstanding. Food was authentic Spanish, not Mexican. We had the rioja short ribs--unctuous sauce on this entree--and the red snapper, which was perfectly done with crispy skin and moist meat. Wine list is varied and extensive.
