   Our waiter, Michael M, was excellent with suggestions, very pleasant, and a credit to the restaurant. The food was extremely good, and my wife and I really enjoyed our meals. We were a teeny bit disappointed that cappuccino was not available to have with our dessert, though it won't deter us from eating there again.

   We enjoy sitting at a high top in the bar area that has an increased level of noise. The new Spring menu was just introduced. The Powerhouse refreshes the menu on a regular basis. Very good choice, always a high level of service.

   This was our second visit to Powerhouse for dinner and highly recommend it. I have a pasta dish and my wife had a hamburger and both were delicious. Served timely, hot, and very flavorful. I had a specialty cocktail was was creative and excellent. Waitress Athena was very pleasant and professional without being overbearing and the manager on duty checked into confirm all was good.

   We had a wonderful meal. We have passed the restaurant a few times dropping our daughter off at college. Wow, what a gem. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable. She made some wine choices and offered us dessert and coffee. That peanut butter pie eats like a peanut butter egg! Delicious. We will be back. Thank you for great service.

   Powerhouse has long been a favorite but in the last 2 years many changes have been made . The prices continue to increase and have now become outrageous. The menu hardly ever changes and in our opinion this needs revamping. Would love to see some additional appetizers such as Scallops and Shrimp wrapped in Bacon and Crab Stuffed Mushrooms, etc. A year ago you could get a Prime Rib Sandwich for $14.00 now the same sandwich is $24.00. The house salad used to be included with your entree then it was removed and priced at $4.00 now the price is $8.00. All these pricing changes are getting ridiculous. Vegetables are under cooked and Potatoes and Vegetables are always cold. Its a shame but its time to find another restaurant.

   The atmosphere was very nice. The service was spot on. Our server Jaden was on it the whole night. It was my girlfriends birthday so we were comped free desert. They gave her advice on how to approach eating raw oysters for the first time. It was a 100 % enjoyable experience

   The menu had a wide variety of options. One person in party doesn’t eat meat and ordered the eggplant parm. He did not enjoy his meal. Everyone else thought the food was good. The songs playing were very good, but were playing too softly to hear well. I’d increase music volume slightly. Desserts were good. Service was good. Enjoyed the experience of a unique place.

    Very Nice ambiance. Waitress was pleasant and friendly. My steak was cook correctly, however my GF ordered a well done steak, and it was given rare. We sent it back to have it cooked to well done, and again presented bloody. She asked the waitress to take it away, which she did. The waitress did not ask her if she wanted anything else, or have the manager come to our table. Her 1st glass of wine was poured very low, and after returning the steak she moved her empty glass to edge of the table indicating she may want another. Our waitress passed a few times without asking if she’d like another glass. Needless to say this ruined her experience which ruined mine too. They did remove the steak off the bill. It was my first time there, I’m not sure if I’ll go back.

    Powerhouse has never disappointed. Food and service is always excellent. The colossal crab is a standard order, along with the filet. We travel a couple times a year since 2002 just to dine here.

    Powerhouse Eatery was fantastic. We were hosting a party of eight at this wonderful restaurant. Everyone ordered something different and everyone said their food was great! Wilson, our server, was perfect. I would definitely recommend Powerhouse Eatery. You won’t be disappointed!

    I wasn’t going to write this review, but I got home and looked at my receipt, and it sent me over the edge. We came here to celebrate for a bachelorette. We had high hopes as we had a reservation and got seated right away upon arrival. We placed drink orders, and the bride-to-be ordered a single glass of wine. Somehow her drink was the one that took the longest (over 20 minutes), despite the bar being pretty empty. This was mildly annoying but not the end of the world. Another 40 minutes before appetizers came. Again, way too long, but we weren’t going to let it ruin our night. Another 60 minutes before dinner came. This stretch of time is way longer than any establishment should deem appropriate between appetizers and the main course. Our table was polite about everything though, figuring that dinner would be worth the wait, but it wasn’t. Two women ordered steaks medium-rare, but were served practically raw steaks that were also somehow cold. To be fair, the waitress was apologetic and offered to get another steak. We declined since, by this time, we’d already been there 2 hours and were really just ready to leave. All of these could be attributed to honest mistakes or being short-staffed— all understandable to a certain degree. The kicker is when the bride-to-be ordered a second glass of wine. It was delivered in a timely fashion. However, shortly after another glass of wine was delivered and the waitress explained the bartender had accidentally poured the same glass twice. She offered it as a complimentary glass. I guess we should have looked at the bill closer when it arrived because we were charged for the “extra” glass. This is what really pushed me to write this review. There may not be many choices in the area, but I would recommend staying home and ordering a pizza before coming here. Between the slow service and unexpected charges, it is beyond frustrating that we spent about $450 on such a subpar experience and meal.

    Weekend get away to the Poconos and expected to just find a small, local place to eat after a day of hiking-pleasantly surprised to find this gem of a restaurant of this quality at the last minute! Food was great(fresh & healthy options) and priced appropriately for the establishment. There were only a few tiny issues consisting of the time we received the order of the food; not just because we were hungry(we were) but because we wanted to enjoy our appetizers(shrimp cocktail, soup of the day, and a signature baked potato..which was weird to order but my boyfriend wanted to try it) with enough space in between our entrees without feeling super stuffed or rushed to finish. Our waitress forgot a few things which we chalked up to being a bit busy. My water was refilled without asking and the whole staff collectively provided excellent service. The restaurant design was intricately decorated with the concept of power plant meets chic fine American dining. I appreciated the ability to modify my entree with a gluten free option for the Chicken Marsala. Will definitely return & try dessert next time!

    Everything was absolutely delicious. The filet with Gorgonzola crust was cooked perfectly! The prime rib was delicious, as well as the salmon. We had calamari as an appetizer and that was awesome too!

    Patty,our server, was pleasant and very efficient in serving us. The food was delicious and reasonably priced for the generous portions received. We enjoyed bruscetta,chicken Marsala, chicken Parmigiano, and brownie with ice cream-- all done to perfection. The musician that entertained us kept the level of his music low so it was easy to converse and be heard. All-in-all,a wonderful experience.

    Powerhouse has always been our favorite restaurant. Our only real complaint are the prices. In the past year, they keep jacking up the prices on everything. While I realize the cost of everything has gone up, the prices are becoming ridiculous. To the point, we will no longer be regular Saturday Night diners. It's just way too much money to spend for dinner. This will now only become a special occasion restaurant for us.

    Valentine’s Day Dinner, I had the bourbon glazed salmon with Brussels, sweet potato and bacon lardons it was absolute perfection! Husband had a filet mignon and they cooked it perfectly, his mashed potatoes had great flavor and texture. Moscow mules were very good. Definitely will be back again.

    Pretty cool ambiance dining in an old power plant. Food is good. John’s meatballs are delish! Lobster Mac and cheese is yummy. Our waiter was extra extra polite and attentive even on this very busy Saturday night. This was our second dining experience here. We will be back!

    Wait staff was Horrible! For a Mon. evening not busy, no excuse to ignore tables. Prices have gone way up since the last time we dined here, to an already expensive restaurant, which is not a problem if you’re getting Great Food & Great Wait staff. When the food is not good, & the staff are absolutely horrible, dropping $200. on a meal makes you never want to return or send anyone there.. We used to love this place, it was our TOP place to go, now we are looking for a new place. Terrible
