Paul was wonderful and made great suggestions for food, wine and desserts.
The food was delicious!
No beer and bad attitude
I was very disappointed with this meal. As everyone else does, you know that going into almost any meal in Park City during ski season you will be paying a “tourist tax.” But even with that, I expect the quality of food preparation to be at least somewhere above average - not the case here in my opinion.
Seared foie gras was either sliced too thin or over cooked -started to take on the quality of a traditional liver from childhood.
Chicken fricassee - you need to rename your dish - there are a lot of different ways you can do it, but they all involve a creamy white base - yours appears to be chicken simply smothered in dark pan juices.
Wine list - 4 times retail - absurd.
Rombauer at 149 and Sonoma Cutrer at 95.
Staff was universally very friendly, helpful and accommodating.
Desserts were wonderful.
Enjoy the delicious food in a modern beautiful restaurant away from Main Street!
It was a treat. Excellent food. Excellent service.
Our server Paul was excellent and recommended a great glass of wine. He offered a free side dish too for the wait of food.
Francisco the host he was amazing!!!
For a high end restaurant the service was poor at best. Try Grappa instead.
Todo muy bien
Value was "Excellent" because the manager picked up the tab!
The manager picked up the tab because of the disastrous dinner experience.
Hostess was rude. Waited 20 minutes at our table without a wine list, water or a server! Of the 5 meals, three of the salads/soups were not delivered with the other two. Of the five entrees two were sorely undercooked and had to be sent back!
Too much dressing in the salad, too much butter in the salmon, cold pasta and kitchen way backed up
Ate dinner there with the fam on 12/23/21. Excellent food - filet and scallops, and 2 kids meals; and great service too. One negative was a cocktail that we ordered; a whistle pig “boss hog” old fashioned. Got the bill and we were charged $150 for that one cocktail! I always expect a mark up …like paying 3 times as much for a bottle of Stags Leap “Artemis”…but $150 for 1-1 1/2 oz of Boss Hog is ridiculous when an entire bottle can be purchased for around $650. Same cocktail at other posh restaurants is around $45-50.
Our waitress, Shelby, was a huge factor in our wonderful dining experience. Hats off to the chef as well. Each dish tasted as good as the amazing presentation. The bartender’s carefully crafted Old Fashions are not to be missed either. 5 stars.
Perfecta, la comida es deliciosa. La antencion es espectacular
Overall not really what we expected for a $250 breakfast for 5 people. The service was not very good, we had to ask literally three different people about twice each for a paper menu, still didnt have one when they came to take our order. The food was delicious, but the portions are small.
This hotel lobby is gorge, we had a nice meal, but our waiter was a tool that tried waaay too hard. I can let that go, but he also forgot 3 things we ordered (he was nice enough to comp them), but then weirdly at the end of the meal when he gave us our check he asked us when we would pay it and when he should come back…….the way he asked was super awkward. Whatever. Food was great. Cord hanging down from under the tv near our table. Not what you expect to see at a WA property.
Given the status of the Waldorf and the price point, we were expecting a much bigger “wow” factor. However, that didn’t happen. We waiting at the front to be seated for about 5-7 minutes without any acknowledgement by at least 3 employees. Service was fine but nothing better than a local casual restaurant at home. The food and drinks were good but seemed greatly overpriced for what it was. I’m glad we had the experience, but I won’t be coming back.
Good was delicious and service was excellent!
Beautiful setting and amazing food. Mary's chicken on top of polenta was a fan favorite.
We had brunch there during our stay. The setting and food is terrific. They seemed understaffed as we saw one server covering a large portion of the restaurant. Despite being over worked, the server did a terrific job.
Good food, great service!
Cauliflower soup to die for....Salmon perfect....seared foie gras sublime....
New chef is rocking it. Wonderful evening.
The food and service was good but the noise level was rather high in the meal itself was rather pricey. We were surprised to be billed $6.00 for splitting a Caesar salad which was not an entrée.
Beautiful property. Very drafty at the table, my wife had to keep her coat on during dinner. Toward the end of dinner the restaurant was filling up and noise level was increasing, but not a problem. Not much separation between the bar and dining area. Cauliflower Veloute was delicious, however the temperature was not that hot/warm than I expected and just a bit to thick. Artisan bread and ricotta cheese had fantastic flavor, but bread texture could've been better. Desserts were not very good. Creme brulee was broken and sent back. Tiramisu was just okay, berries on it were a strange addition I've never seen before on that dish. Entrees were great, especially my scallops, they had a beautiful sear on them. Definitely plan on going back after the new Executive Chef has a chance to change the menu to make it his own. Best part of the experience was our server Paul. We will make it a point to request him as our server on our next visit.
Paul was very communicative and entertaining! He had an excellent knowledge of the menu and made all the best recommendations. Thanks
Excellent food & wonderful service! We will be back again.
Had a reservation and the hostess put us at a completely isolated table in a nook under a TV. Not the experience we expected since we were looking for a nice meal. Paul was doing great, wasn’t his fault.
This was our very first visit to Powder and we were thrilled with the setting and the meal.
Highly recommend the Tataki appetizer and Burrata salad. And while the appetizer bread price point is a little high it’s an amazing accompaniment.
The duck confit carbonara is also a standout - we felt like most of the entrees were less interesting and this one did not disappoint. Everything we ordered was also actually perfect to share.
We would come back and really order a wider variety of appetizers as so many were appealing.
Pleased we added this to our list for this visit.
The burgers are killer. So are the fish tacos!
Paul was amazing and extremely knowledgeable. Would recommend the oysters, and the Panfried scallops and pork belly!!
All of the meals we had here were excellent and the service was perfect. Loved our time here.
We got put in the back by the kitchen on our anniversary after telling them so. We were ignored for quite a while and didn’t get drink order for a long time. It was obvious we were not valued. Waiter got my order wrong. Food was okay price was very high and didn’t live up to the hype.
Menu was very limited and expensive.
Disappointing experience. Expected a lot more from a Waldorf. Coffee order came out wrong, twice. Was served the wrong omelet. And slow, non-attentive service overall.
Our meal was delicious and we had a wonderful service. The staff was very attentive and made really great suggestions.
Delicious.. over priced.
Service was perfect. What ruined our dinner was the lighting. They have annoying little spotlights on diners faces. We looked like ghost to each other while spending over $300 on dinner. Waldorf should know better. That’s restaurant 101. We will never dine there again
Was looking forward to the short ribs listed on the menu in Open Table - But, no short ribs on the actual menu and not available - big disappointment. Salmon was cooked well but way too salty. Iced tea was instant, not fresh. Our waitress was very good but another waiter was highly unprofessional. Not a great experience.
Beautiful experience with exceptional service
Service is excellent, food is very good not fantastic for the prices your paying. Overall had a wonderful experience would go again and recommend as a good place to have a good meal.
Food and service is outstanding. Be prepared to pay high end prices but the food is worth every penny. It did get loud later in the evening but otherwise an amazing meal experience.
Excellent! We will be back!
