Our meal was delicious and we had a wonderful service. The staff was very attentive and made really great suggestions.
Delicious.. over priced.
Service was perfect. What ruined our dinner was the lighting. They have annoying little spotlights on diners faces. We looked like ghost to each other while spending over $300 on dinner. Waldorf should know better. That’s restaurant 101. We will never dine there again
Was looking forward to the short ribs listed on the menu in Open Table - But, no short ribs on the actual menu and not available - big disappointment. Salmon was cooked well but way too salty. Iced tea was instant, not fresh. Our waitress was very good but another waiter was highly unprofessional. Not a great experience.
Beautiful experience with exceptional service
Service is excellent, food is very good not fantastic for the prices your paying. Overall had a wonderful experience would go again and recommend as a good place to have a good meal.
Food and service is outstanding. Be prepared to pay high end prices but the food is worth every penny. It did get loud later in the evening but otherwise an amazing meal experience.
Excellent! We will be back!
Love powder and the Seevice is epic as well
As the food.
Wow! Amazing, inventive menu with terrific service. Definitely stop here if you are in town for a special meal.
Except for one item (duck carbonara) the food was very good and the cocktails were excellent. For the carbonara, the pasta was too al dente and there was very little duck. It also was not hot. The salmon entree was excellent as was the gravlax appetizer. Very good truffle fries - hot and tasty - would have liked them just a bit crispier. Bartender knows what he is doing.
The odd thing is the ambience. Restaurant is right off the lobby and staff seem to use it as a thoroughfare. The tables are not set - they are bare when you sit down. You get cutlery wrapped in a napkin as your food arrives. I could understand this for breakfast and lunch but given the prices on the dinner menu, I expected a fine dining experience. This might be a result of COVID protocols but we didn’t experience that elsewhere in PC. Hence, the ‘value’ is way off for me.
Our server was great and we were happy we got her and not the other server who was loud and talked too much. We actually heard him make disparaging comments about co- workers in their absence. So if you, like us, are sensitive to things like a lack of professionalism and ambience even if the food is good, it’s probably not worth the visit.
Enjoyed outdoor seating and live music. Food is a bit pricey but very good. We chose to try the desert wines but they discovered they were out of our choices and offered us upgrade selection for same price.
Delicious food and terrific service. Our servers were so friendly and knowledgeable. We were very happy here dining outdoors.
Food was spectacular. The duck confit could have had more flavor but the scallops, and foi was amazing.
Food was fine tuned and amazing. Service was impeccable. Thank you Paul and Travis for taking such good care of us.
One of my go to’s in Park city. Fairly innovative and always excellent quality food. Shelby the waiter knocked it out of the park great service.
The service was impeccable, the drinks were outstanding, and the food was delicious. The live entertainment was also wonderful. We can hardly wait to go back!
Dined outside. Food was amazing. Service was terrific. Though server asked if we wanted mineral or sparkling water. We said we want the Panna mineral water that the table next to us was drinking. The server replied we dont offer Panna. We asked her to bring whatever you have. She brought Panna......They were out of stock on one entree, three bourbons and one popular white wine. Table was generic metal slotted and wobbly. I expected much better for a $1400 dinner for 6 people.
Very small portions. Very high menu price. The pineapple and cucumber gazpacho, which the waiter said had big chunks of pineapple, came with absolutely no pineapple in it. We were only 104 couples in the restaurant at the time. How could the chef be distracted?
This is the case of a restaurant with a very capable chef in the back being undermined by lackluster service and mediocre ambiance in the front. The main dining room feels like an offshoot of a hotel lobby (though the lobby at this hotel is more opulent). Servers in royal blue golf shorts and sneakers look sloppy and unsure of their tasks; runners with walkie-talkies hanging from their pants and cheap rubber gloves should know who gets which dish before they serve. Cocktails, despite other raves, were just okay. The food was the main star: creamy cauliflower velouté, perfectly cooked scallops with pork belly, flavorful duck confit carbonara were all beautifully plated and delicious. Too bad the rest became a sad side show as we dined. Waldorf Astoria?? You can do better than this! Call in a restaurant consultant—you could make this place a star!
Sat us by the pool. Was perfect.
Luis was the service. Outstanding. Will go again.
A bit of a disappointment for ambiance, but overall great food and service. A limit menu, but quality was great.
Pretty disappointed with our lunch experience. When we arrived we were told lunch was not available in the restaurant only pool side. This was not indicated anywhere on their website. We requested and were granted a table on the deck outside the restaurant away from the pool. However our view was the pool with background noise and the club beat from the pool music.
Pricing was expensive which was expected- however size of dishes were “small plate” portion. Three Hawaiian tacos - 1 bite each $19. Cocktails were $20+. Our second cocktail was served in a plastic cup.
Our waitress was nice but flat personality. We enjoyed much better experiences at Steins and St. Regis for the same $$$$. We likely will not return.
Enjoyed our dinner here. The food was really good. The service was superb. Definitely enjoyed our dinner here.
The experience started poorly when we were seated inside, even though we had an outside reservation. Then we looked at the menu and it was really limited. Surprising for such an expensive hotel. So we left and went somewhere else. The valet parking guys were kind enough to not charge us for the 5 minute stay.
Absolutely terrible. We made reservations for lunch at powder which I have been to several times for dinner. They told us sorry there is no outdoor seating which I reserved for at the restaurant. However she said you can go to the pool. We were all dressed for lunch and sat in the heat. Terrible service rude and extremely loud music that had no sense at all. It went from 80s to country to hip hop. Absolutely awful
Host seemed disinterested in our being there. Other than that it was wonderful
Everything was absolutely delicious. Presentation was beautiful. The prices are just way too high.
Our waiter Giro ABSOLUTELY made our dining experience!! He was professional, funny and VERY knowledgeable!! The food was delicious but the drinks were chintzy and pricey but Giro turned us on to a GREAT bottle of wine, worth the money, so that made it all better!
Too expensive for the quality of the food and service.
Welcoming staff. Delicious food. Relaxed environment
Kept coffee flowing
Standard restaurant at a high-end hotel in a resort city, so prices reflected that. I feel you're paying more for the location and convenience than the food. Still, the quality was very good, even though the portions were small and add-ons were extra. The ambiance was excellent and the service was on-point.
This reservation was for lunch poolside, which was wonderful! Great food and pretty good service.
However, the next morning we had breakfast there and the service was awful! Our server was very un-attentive and at times we would look around and not see a single server or employee. Except for the managers that were meeting in the corner and walking around, that never bothered to help out.
For being the Waldorf, we would have expected first-class service.
The Waldorf is beautiful. It felt like poolside dining at a very expensive price. Food was very slow and go hum. Nothing special. Our server was great and tried to make up for it. 5 star prices for 3 star food
Food was good, atmosphere mediocre. groups larger than 4 were put in the back room that was sparsely decorated and had a view of the parking lot. if your group is 4 or under, the seating is in the pretty front room that has a view of the lovely courtyard and pool.
Amazing!! Glad we made the stop
Great place for breakfast. Fresh squeezed orange juice is so good. The scrambled eggs are perfect. Get the Astoria, it's my favorite. Dinner options are great too.
Service and food excellent, although somewhat overpriced. Space Is large and socially distanced. Which is appreciated. Always enjoy coming here!
When I ordered the short ribs our server Paul told me I should order the filet over the short rib, only to find out we were handed the incorrect menu and for the day and he had no idea short ribs were not on the menu, then he told me not to order the pasta dish because "you should order that dish only after you finished a 3-5 mile run". I took that comment to mean it was obvious to him, I don't run! He also informed us he is a wine expert and let us know he preferred a different wine after we made our selection. All of his directives were upcharges! No thanks
