Any thing duck is delicious. The Foie Gras was prepared rare. Pairing it with a Sauterne as recommended was delicious and unexpected. The roasted duck breast had an intriguing fresh berry sauce (Huckleberry?). Skin was crisp. Served over ourzo. This dish reminded me of Peiking Duck somewhat. If I could Sub out the ourzo for steamed buns that would be an interesting twist.

You know when you use Opentable and let the restaurant know that you're going for dinner and its your 21st wedding anniversary? Not for any reason other than it may give the staff a talking point and a connection to us and our evening. Well none of that happened. We went in with high hopes (my firm has an offsite event here every year so I was really looking forward to the dinner here with my family for my 21st wedding anniversary) which were rapidly dashed as the lady at reception wouldn't even look at us as she assigned our table - way in the corner in the dark. After that the server was functional at best with no attempt made at conversation or pretty much anything at all. We were given our menus without being asked for drinks and then the whole process seemed to be a little hurry-up-and-slow-down. Just felt off and unnatural, like we weren't wanted. However, the food was good and hot and we enjoyed our evening despite the lack of hospitality. I'll go into this year's company offsite with a different perspective.

This dining experience was average. I had the short ribs, which were fine. My wife and son had the chicken breast. The chicken was tough, apparently over cooked. A relatively rookie mistake for a restaurant like this. Also, we asked that an outdoor speaker that was playing music literally at our feet be turned off. The request was totally ignored with a relatively snide remark by the server. All in all, pretty unimpressive experience.

Exceptional cuisine, service, and atmosphere is my experience each time I come here. Very creative and tasty specials compliment a wonderful menu. The food is excellent and artfully presented. Postino's has wonderful valet parking staff. The restaurant has charming architecture, set in a lovely garden with intimate dining areas inside and on the terrace next to the garden. If you can reserve one of Caroline's tables you will be beyond pleased with the experience.

I enjoy Postino for the ambiance. I've been there twice recently for lunch & been underwhelmed with my meal unfortunately. (Arugula Salad + Salmon). The Salmon was uninspired & the salad consisted of that + a pile of Arugula with a tiny (2 inch in diameter) mound of goat cheese with maybe 3 pine nuts. I wouldn't have minded paying 17-$18 . (the Salmon piece was relatively small). I didn't find the meal to be a $22 entrée. The Tiramusu was tasty however.

The food has been mediocre for a while, but generally you feel welcomed, so it is ok. Tonight, service was awful. Our waiter walked by us again and again on the way to another group without a pause. I had to flag someone else down to get a glass of wine. In the past, we often ate at the bar, so perhaps I have been spared this ridiculous treatment. I will not be back, there is absolutely no reason to eat there. Too bad.

We don't eat here often but every time we do we are reminded about why this is such a great place -- great service, great food, wonderful atmosphere. On a nice day ask to be seated outside (they have ample heaters should it start to cool off too much in the evening). I especially enjoyed the Norwegian cod and the desserts were great.
