   The food and service at Postero was outstanding! We started our dinner with salads - Kale Caesar and Beets with Goat cheese. They were excellent. For entrees we had Shrimp Scampi and Chicken breast. Both were fantastic. It’s great to find a restaurant that creates a chicken dish that is so flavorful! We highly recommend Postero. Clearly one of the best restaurants in Western North Carolina!

   The food was delicious as usual. I had the winter salad with fried catfish on top. We shared the Brussel sprouts as an appetizer. Could have filled up on those!

   Dinner and dessert was amazing!! When our waiter noticed that I hadn’t drank any of my cocktail (it was good, just not what I ended up wanting) he took it off our tab (we insisted that he didn’t, but he still did) and offered another drink! We thought it was pretty neat how you could see the kitchen too from where we were seated.

   We sat at a high top in the bar area. Service was fabulous by Dimitri. Food was great as always. We had the red fish.

   We were seated upstairs which gave us a nice view of the restaurant and all that was happening below. We like to see how restaurants run. Our food was wonderful, loved the pineapple upside down cake for dessert. our waitress was wonderful and very attentive. After dinner we had a drink at the bar. We had a nice conversation about the bourbon selection with the bar tender. We look forward to our next visit.

    This was my second time eating here and the food did not disappoint! I had family visiting from out of town and wanted to treat them after traveling so far. We had the steak and it was tender and delicious. (The first time we had the short ribs. The ribs weren’t on the menu this time. We learned they change their menu about 4 times a year. )

    Wonderful experience. We decided to eat at the bar. Zach waited on us and did a super job. He’s a new dad and shared with us a pic of his baby. He went out of his way to make us feel comfortable, and the shrimp scampi was absolutely delicious. I’ve never had a bad experience at Postero. It’s by far the best restaurant in Hendersonville.

    Our server was great.! He knew exactly when to come to the table. And anything we asked for was right on time. The food was outstanding as usually. I could drink that barbecue sauce. We sat upstairs and that was a treat. A little more quiet up there, but I also enjoy being downstairs and watching how it all works. Never had a bad experience at postero.! I'm be thousand percent would recommend. Beginning to end is always an amazing experience. The lemon cheesecake is so scrumptious.

    I week ago, I would've highly recommended. I had basically tried every large plate on the dinner menu (except the chicken and steak) and it was delicious (trout was my favorite). I visited this past weekend and they had completely changed their dinner menu. Very disappointed, I was really looking forward to the crispy ribs (starter menu) and the trout (large plate menu) and neither were on the menu. Our waitress suggested the crispy brussels...great suggestion, they were delicious. I ordered the pan roasted redfish and it had a very fishy taste (terrible). This went from my favorite place to I don't know if I'm going back.

    Outstanding experience in every way. Reservation system was a breeze and worked flawlessly. We requested and received seating on the balcony upstairs, which is quieter than main level. Our server was Dimitri, (four years at Postero so ownership clearly values his exceptional talents) who took total delight in guiding us through the evening. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of the menu, and his recommendations were spot-on. We never felt rushed about any aspect of our experience. Food and wine quality were simply outstanding. We have been to Postero several times during the past few years and it has been consistently excellent. Now, if anything, it's even better. I applaud ownership's policy of 3% kitchen appreciation fee as an enlightened approach to attract and retain the best staff possible. The entire operation reeks of ownership really caring about their people and the entire staff responding by providing outstanding quality and service to their guests. Our thanks for a very special evening.

    The food is on the pricey side but it is worth every penny. However I can't say the same for the drinks. The wine is $10-12 a glass-pretty average. My son had two cans of hard cider and they were $12---- EACH!!! I never question a bill if the food and everything else is great but $24 for two cans of hard cider is just ridiculous. I would like to talk to the person who came up with that person to see if they really have a brain. SORRY-I couldn't resist

    The menu is varied, with lots of choices from a light meal to a more substantial meal with small plates, small or large salads with optional protein additions and large plates for a traditionally portioned meal. The food is fresh, beautifully prepared with exquisite presentation. Service is top notch! Wine list is large and reasonable. This is the best restaurant in the area and has been for years. Never had a disappointing bite after years of eating here! Staff is helpful, well trained with a friendly smile.

    Overall a good visit. Heather was a great attentive server. Had a little problem with food not cooked as ordered (no spice on meat at all). Heather was as concerned as we were as she had ordered correctly but kitchen didn’t follow the order. Got a new dinner to replace the error but was after the rest of our party was more than half done eating. Always awkward being the person waiting for a corrected meal while others continue to eat. Then they all wait while you finish. Food quality and flavor was good. All like their selections. All in all was an enjoyable evening.

    As a local, this is my fave place. The shrimp scampi pasta was absolutely delicious, as usual…as was the whipped cream dip and chips. The desserts were divine. My 9th complaint is that the snapper had a bit too much fat, and a few of the mostly delicious Brussels sprouts were very undercooked. Still my favorite place in Hendersonville.
