   Noise level upstairs is so much quieter. We ate early, at 5:45, and loved our meal. The decaf coffee is amazing and so was the chocolate dessert.

   All is good in the menu. Salads are great as well as the wonderful dinners. Cuisine is great, I normally lead on the fishes or beef, but discovered in a great lamb chop the other night. Desserts are great if you're not to full. All is great.

   2 couples had one night in town and made reservation here based on a locals recommendation. We were seated promptly when we arrived. We were greeted by server promptly and drink orders were taken. Two of us had draft beer, one had can of cider and on had RC cola (a nice treat). One comment on draft beer, not sure exactly how many ounces but glasses seemed a bit small. Appetizers, house salad was good and big enough to share; Smoked fish dip was good but a bit on the salty side; Gnochetti (sp) was delicious; and crab cakes got mixed reviews (we are from New Orleans, so used to crab cakes a certain way and these were good but definitely different that what we are used). Entrees - Filet was very delicious and cooked perfectly; shrimp scampi was exceptional as was the flounder. We really enjoyed our experience and would return.

   Outstanding spot for foodies ... Sat at the bar and had an amazing evening of speciality cocktails, wine, apps, meal and dessert! Amazing bartender!

   As usual, our experience at Postero was excellent. Our reservation was 6:30pm, we were seated quickly, even as they granted our request for our table to be changed from upstairs to downstairs (mobility issues). Whitney, our server, was attentive w/o being intrusive. We started with the beet appetizer which was served as a beet tartar with fried goat cheese balls, greens & strawberries- so good! My husband had the lamb and I had the shrimp scampi. Both were generous servings and also very good. It is fun to search for the little dinosaurs “hidden” around the restaurant. As a note- the restaurant is in an old bank, which is charming, but with the high ceilings the noise level can be a little high on occasion, but it is a minor issue, overshadowed by the excellent food & service. Highly recommend! PS- reservations need to be made days in advance :)

   My recent dining experience with my family could not have been more special. As always, the quality of the food, ambiance of the evening and exceptional treatment from the staff makes Postero one of the best restaurants in town !
