Attentive wait staff and delicious salads made for a perfect lunch meeting.
pleasantly surprised for my first dining experience with Post Oak Grill. Very easy to have a conversation across the table. Great service and the meal was actually worth the cost; it is evident that the kitchen staff cares for not only presentation but more importantly quality of its ingredients. not always the case with other restaurants in the area. seafood enchiladas were very tasty, definitely will be making Post Oak Grill a regular spot for business lunches.

Post Oak Grill on Post Oak Blvd. is like an old London Club, wonderful, civilized, old fashioned values from familiar faces and best of all, upper class service from older people who get what discrete excellence means.
By way of example, they brought a coat stand to my table to accommodate my jacket. Pollo stopped by and recognized me, said thank you and enjoy. Just really nice not the usual artificial blah!
The seats where comfortable, the business lunch slipped by without obvious interruption from service moments or plate clearing, interruptions forced on us to order food, drinks were refilled, bread refreshed, almost invisibly. 10/10.
The Famous Tomato Salad with artichoke hearts, home made vinaigrette followed by perfectly cooked and un-fussed with Rainbow Trout and a Capuccino for $35 bucks!
I have been going for over a decade for business and personal reasons and honestly have never had a crap experience.

Valentine’s Day special menu dinner. Food was not up to what we would have expected. I guess they were trying to handle the high volume with prepared dishes but the fish was over cooked and shrimp lukewarm. The best was the bread. Won’t go back.
We hadn’t dined at POG for years and it was even better than we remembered. Everything from the parking valet to the food and our server was excellent. We will dine here again the next time we are in Houston!
This restaurant is conveniently located in the Galleria area, and was perfect for
a lunch meeting we had with out of town visitors . Wide variety of lunch choices,
from sandwiches, pastas and specials, to a nice selection of salads. All of our meals were delicious, and the service was great. The restaurant was almost full when we arrived, and yet we could actually carry on a conversation and be heard.

Food was great and very flavorful, with lots of good options! Loved the nice, quiet atmosphere. A few mix-ups in our orders, but everything was resolved and tasted delicious! Will definitely come back!

Dinner was a very nice experience. Good selection of food on the menu and we had a great waiter who was very accomodating. The creme brulee for dessert is a must.

Food and atmosphere was great. The service was slow. The restaurant was not crowded or big parties at lunch time. The wait staff was courteous. But took a while to get the check and the waiter to return to take our payment. Not someone one should go if on a time schedule.
Poorly organized reservation and table management + indifferent/unfriendly staff + out dated/tacky decor + horrible tables & arrangement/crowded walkspace + buffet that was not grand with COLD food + a buffet that wasn't advertised + crappy service = NEVER WOULD I RECOMMEND NOR GO TO THIS TRAGIC MESS OF A RESTAURANT. Yuck!

We had reservations for 1:30 but due to large volume of patrons, we ended up waiting another 25 minutes before we got seated. The waiting/seating area is tight so it was cramped with people waiting, leaving, and entering. Once we sat down, the service was nice and the food delectable.
Disappointing. Arrived to a bickering host and hostess. Service minimal. Food OK, but certainly not memorable. This place is in need to a major facelift. Hopefully it can be restored to the quality restaurant it once was.
I always enjoy the food at the Post Oak Grill; however, service on my latest visit was unacceptable. I was the only customer in the restaurant. It seems that all of the attention was focused on setting up for Thanksgiving dinner on the next day. I was ignored for some time. My presence seemed to have been an inconvenience.
They did not hold a table for me even though I had a reservation. It's best to call and confirm with them.
Food, service and atmosphere were all great. We were sitting in a noisy area at first and asked to be moved which they gladly did and made the event so much more enjoyable. Great staff as well.
Asked for steak to be medium and it was very well done.
This is a great place to conduct business. You can get in and out in an hour. Food is always good with a special lunch every day. My folks are always impressed
It was my wife's birthday and she was very impressed with the overall presence, we look forward to just coming back just for dinner.
We have been a few times at Post Oak Grill and we always enjoy our visit. Food is delicious and service excellent. We will keep coming back for sure.
This time we tried the Houston Restaurant Week menu and all 3 of us were very happy we did. One comment though is hold yourself on the very tasty bread and butter at the beginning so that you can make it all the way to dessert (mmmmm!!).

We had not been to Post Oak Grill in years and decided to select it for our Houston Restaurants Weeks choice because of the menu. All the food was delicious - the salmon, duck, oysters, shrimp, salad, ribeye, flounder, bisque, cocktails, wine, dessert - everything. The portions were generous and the price very reasonable. So glad we chose this restaurant and will definitely go back at 'a regular time'.
Goof food and attentive service, quiet dining room. The Dining Menu is somewhat limited but foods are very tasty and have great presentation. We will be back for more, highly recommended.
We had much better fine dining experience compare to B&B Butcher Steakhouse which I regretted every dime I spent there (non-existence service and borderline Steak grilling skills and Management did even bother to follow up on feed back left).
Service and food was terrible. We went for restaurant week. And I was so disappointed. The waiter was hard of hearing and he could not remember who or what for all 4 courses. I will not return.

The restaurant was hard to find from the iPhone GPS. The Asian gentlemen in the front of the building was extremely rude and lacked hospitality and didn't have any concern for what I was trying to convey. First place I have been that's been 1/2 empty
that you wait 10 minutes for a menu. The restaurant was dated and looks like the glory days have long passed and great service was a thing of the past. Please reevaluate the restaurant week menu and establish a management presence on the floor and train the the front of the house staff on proper phone etiquette and skills.
