Great staff and cozy. Not sure if they have a live band sometimes but I would definitely recommend live music. Shrimp and grits is a must try.

Great menu choices. Catfish is always a favorite with light dusting of corn meal. Hubby had short rib, which he said was great. Had the grandkids with us and they enjoyed the pepperoni pizza. They ate every bite. Foster gave us great service with just the right amount of attention.

Eat here if you enjoy delicious foods 👍. Black excellence in action, though crowd and crew were of mixed company . Great vibes all around. Definitely going back

Our food was delicious, the atmosphere was lovely and the service was good. We went for Sunday brunch. I started off with the best Bloody Mary - so flavorful. And, my friends had bottomless mimosas

The food was great! The Chef was accomodating and helpful with our allergies. However our sever Corey was unfriendly, ride and unprofessional. Never fretted is. Never smiled and did the minimum. Coeeyv also complained to us about the resturant being busy and orders taking long. He shouldn't be a server or working with guests for that matter.

The server Corey wasn't friendly at all. His body language was very cold. Not attentive at all!!! This is the second time I've had him as a server and don't want to sit in his section again.
The food was great. We asked to speak with the chef and he was very friendly , personable and accommodating! I believe his name was Johnny.

I love Post and Beam. I had the salmon with a side of collard greens. Delicious. Brad Johnson is a great host--very welcoming. Our wine was fantastic, too, a malbec and a pinot noir. Both were excellent. On this visit after our meal we went outside to the lovely patio and sat by the fire pit and attended a poetry reading. This restaurant is a great place to eat, drink, and spend an evening.

Very good food in a nice atmosphere. The one complaint we had was the lack of sufficient air conditioning. We did ask our server about turning up the air (it was one of the hottest days of the week), but we were told the air circulation was not very good. We overheard other customers complaining as well. Air seemed to improve for about 15 min., then the room became sweltering again. If we hadn't already ordered food, we would've left. We'll return, but not on extremely hot days.

We are neighbors and we love coming here for our date night. Cocktails are great, best deviled eggs and shrimp grits I ever had, we also love the DJ nights with dinner specials. Service is very attentive. The manager even kept the place open for us when we came in late on a Sunday (it closes at 9:00 PM on Sundays...).

We live in Ventura County and went to see Neil Diamond at The Forum. We went to the web to find restaurant recommendation for the Inglewood area. Post and Beam looked interesting and we are very glad we selected it. The short ribs are out of this world. They are slow cooked for 12 hours the night before. They have some excellent drink specials. we ate outside and it was quiet and comfortable. Very friendly service and staff. They have a spaghetti and meatball appetizer that is more than a meal by itself. Great restaurant!

Shrimp and grits were yummy. The pan roasted chicken was dry despite the greasy plate. Brussel sprouts are a winner, char ed to perfection. Corn bread was ok, not special at all. Not sure why people made such a fuss over the corn bread.

This is the 3rd time I've been in the last 4 months and the other 2x it was perfect: food, service, ambiance etc. This 3rd time was the worst service wise. Our host/waiter/bartender seemed to be spread too thin and once we got our food we never saw him again. We also ordered drinks and he never brought them. We couldn't even flag him down to tell him they were never delivered so that was a disappointment. The food was good but the service part left a bad taste in our mouths. We even had to walk up to the bar to ask for our check and then he never came up to pick up our check when we put our credit card in so we had to walk that up too! It just was a bad situation from middle to end. I just think he couldn't handle our table, plus drinks, plus being the host at random times. Not sure if I'll be back for awhile.

Had brunch here with my friends in Sunday to celebrate my birthday and we had a great time! Our waitress Kimberly was very attentive to us and we appreciated that so much! Also the food was amazing! Some of us even shared food! We sat outside in the patio and it was very nice to be under some shade as it was a hot day. Thanks Post and Beam for having us!

Post & Beam is one of the absolute best places to go for any meal! I am never disappointed and always leave with a smile on my face. Our most recent visit was a girlfriends meetup. We were warmly greeted by the owner, Brad, and made to feel most welcome. We never felt rushed although we stayed there quite a while. The whole time patrons were coming in and out and there was a positive buzz happening all the while. We have made plans to visit and get together there monthly and I will enjoy each time. The food was wonderful as were the drinks. A definite must for anyone in the LA area.

The hand crafted cocktails were excellent. It's not very often that I find a well-made Sazerac, but P&B has the correct proportions for my taste. Just the right amount of Absinthe. The Cantaloupe Martini was a refreshing change from the usual martinis that we tend to order and was quite good. For the main courses we enjoyed both the Short Ribs with Long Cooked Greens and the Fried Chicken dishes. Both were well seasoned and tender. The absolutely delicious sweet potato pie and coffee for dessert capped off a delightful Sunday meal. Only thing that could've been better was the dessert service. Took too long to get the pie and then the coffee was brought too long after. Other than that one glitch, service was very good. Will be back soon.

Good please to have a drink and talk. The drinks are a bit pricey. Food was good and different from normal fare. Service was just OK. The front of house manager was very attentive and kept the rest of the servers on point. Our waiter may have had to many tables or other things going on. It's always important to make the quest feel hat there visit was appreciated since there are many other choices. Our waiter seem to give us the " yeah see ya later" vibe on the way out. We actually initiated the " thank you". I would go back as the overall experience was good.

Servers looked a mess and were wearing their everyday street clothes. Server took the sleeve of his shirt and used it to dig into his nose as he approached the table. They also served me sour grapefruit juice. Food was just okay, but the simple side salad had no dressing and was covered in onions. The catfish was soggy, and had no crunch to it, even though it was supposed to be lightly dusted in cornmeal. They definitely need to tighten their ship up.

I'm so happy I found this spot, and made the drive down from Ventura to check it out. The food was delicious, yummy cocktails, and a very friendly group of employees to top it off. I'm looking forward to my next visit, and trying a new entree, as it was tough to pick one item since everything sounds so good.

Really enjoyed Post and Beam Saturday Night. Sat out on Patio and the evening was perfect. Our waiter Foster was attentive and made some good recommendations. Food was pretty good. My hubby did not care for Turkey Meatballs and spaghetti that much, but everything else was awesome. The Mac and cheese came out luke warm but the wait Team took it back and returned with it smoking hot!!! This is my 4 th time eating here and each experience gets better!!!
