Positano's Ristorante Ratings and Reviews
Positano's is our go to place for a small special occasion and has never disappointed us in the past. This time was no different. We arrived a little early for our reservation but were seated immediately. The service was top notch, the sangria was fruity & just sweet enough, and I cannot recommend enough the stuffed mushroom appetizer. While the rest of my party had salads with their dinner, I had the soup of the day (eggplant with pancetta) which was an excellent choice. All of us loved our main courses. Our server was always there when needed with refills and to clear dishes but was otherwise unobtrusive and our entire meal was an unhurried joy unlike many restaurants we have been to. We'll be back again, hopefully soon.
Excellent food from the zucchini and pancetta soup, choices of sauces for pasta, and great desserts (chocolate gelato, heaven) every course was delicious. The happy hour drinks are a bonus. Positano's is a great choice for every occasion or just because the food is that good!
Great evening with friends!
We thoroughly enjoyed the live jazz trio during dinners.
All of our entrees (filet mignon; veal marsala; ravioli with bolognese sauce; short rib special) were superb! We thoroughly enjoyed the bottle of Pendulum cabernet sauvignon with dinner.
The apple tart for dessert was a great ending
Our server, Nikki, was awesome!
LOVED this Italian restaurant and the food is exceptional here. The service is wonderful and the waiters and waitresses are right there when you need them to be......wonderful dining experience, will definitely recommend to friends and will be coming back. 👍🏻
The food was tasty, but the price felt a tiny bit high, in my opinion. However, I still prefer to pay a local merchant a little more and get food that is slightly different from the local chain restaurants. The restaurant does offer an early bird menu for money conscious guests( 4pm-5:30 pm). We enjoyed our food. The salad had a very good dressing. The seasonal butternut squash tagliatelle ($23) was flavorful and so was the eggplant rollatini ($17). I would pass on the tiramisu next time, only because it lacked the typical prominent coffee flavor one would expect, and it had a thicker texture. I would have described it more as a vanilla cake. The service was excellent! All 4 members of the staff that approached us were polite and welcoming. This is the type of restaurant I can see me going back to once every other month.
Friday night date night dinner that included the sounds of a live 3-piece jazz band.
Our server, Danielle, was super friendly, outgoing and attentive.
Their house salad's greens were fresh and the accompanying dressing was flavorful.
The veal marsala was so tender you could cut it with a fork....and the sauce was killer!
The special short rib pasta was amazing!!!
Look forward to a return visit soon!
