This was our second visit over about a three year span. Restaurant was busier than last time and noisier, but not too loud. Food was very good and everyone enjoyed their dish. Pasta appear d to be homemade. Prices are a bit high for the area, but not outrageous.

We have never been disappointed with our meal here!! The food is excellent and reasonably priced.
We have always had a positive experience with our waiter/waitress also.
Highly recommend reservations as it understandably busy during dinner.

Just so-so and not as good as I recall. The pasta was horrible, way over cooked and tasted like it was sitting for hours. Sauce was very bland and bread looked it was from another table. Appetizers were good and husband liked his meal more then I liked mine.

My wife and I were celebrating her birthday. We had a reservation for 6:30 PM and we were seated upon arrival. Our server, Dan, was informative, attentive, courteous, and professional. We will return again and recommend to others.

Great food selection and the service was top notch. All food selections look good. I had the veal marsala and my wife the Italian gnocchi’s which were a lot and very good.

We had reservations but we were seated in a corner by the bar. We waited a very long time for silverware and food. We had to ask for our bread after 10 minutes of ordering our food. We felt neglected as the bar was full and the private room had all the servers attention. This was our first and last time to this restaurant. Not only was the service and atmosphere not appealing , neither was the food.

This was our first visit based on a recommendation from a friend. We will go back. The food was excellent and the service very good. It is not a large space so the noise level made it a little hard to carry on a conversation but the other elements made it worth return visits.

One of three people in our party were served. The other two in our party waited an additional 30 minutes for their meal. The waitress said that she thought that we had already been served.

Service was poor. When the matter was brought to the manager/owner's attention, the response was disappointing. Rather than focus on the customer, she wished to find out who messed up. It is unfortunate as it was highly recommended by my friends.

Positano's is within a mile of our home, but we would gladly drive 20 miles to get there! The food is always delightful. The restaurant is not noisey as some are-I hope I picked the correct rating eatlier on your survey! We have been there four times in the past 6 months. I am on a restricted diet because of advanced kidney disease, but I can always find something wonderful on your menu! It was a great way to celebrate my 65th birthday!

We were a little late for our reservation. Less than 20 minutes. I understand a restaurant cannot hold a reservation for long, especially on a Friday night. But when I mentioned the reservation, I simply got a blank look from the hostess. We were informed we had already been marked as no show. Wow, a little quick in my opinion, but ok. What wasn't ok was the way three - count 'em *3* - hostesses then handled our seating. Well, they had a table for six, which they normally wouldn't give us, but.... Or we could have that table for two (pointing) right by the door. There was a lot of side discussion between the hostesses about our options. I felt awkward and embarrassed. I should decide if we would tie-up a table for six, when they clearly wanted me to say no? Or a small table shoved by the door of the bar? This was a dinner date btw. When I asked how long for a quieter table for two, I was told at least 40 minutes. We took the table by the door.
To give credit where it's due, our waitress was pleasant and accommodating.
Live jazz was nice, but wish we hadn't been so close for the noise factor.
The food. I have heard SUCH good things about it. I kept it simple, ready to enjoy classic Italian. Linguine in marinara and salad. My glass of Pinot Noir was delicious. Salad: a little limp. Nothing special. Linguine: nice al dente and fresh. Marinara: so disappointing. Both watery and chunky. Lacked flavor. Bitter finish. Huge portion.
Maybe the more inventive dishes are a better bet. But an Italian restaurant that can't make a good marinara should be embarrassed.
I'm going to give it one more try. Because some of the more complicated dishes on the menu sound absolutely delicious. One can hope.

We started off with the calamari, which was just the right amount. I had the sangria with the manicotti dinner. It was delicious to say the least. My girlfriend also enjoyed her espresso martini & cheese ravioli dinner. I snuck a piece of hers & have to say it’s definitely my favorite so far. I’ll be getting that next time! Our server was very knowledgeable and attentive. We will definitely be back
