We had the greatest evening and dinner. Matt, our server was OUTSTANDING!!
We had a party of 5, and everything was delicious ❤️, especially the Lobster Ravioli.
Highly recommend for any occasion.
Thank you Positano’s.
We went to Positanos for dinner with another couple Saturday night. The food was great. It’s always hot,and the portions are very generous. Always a good value.
We had not been in several years, thought we would try again. Years ago it was one of our top places to go for a good reliable meal. Although the menu remained the same, the food was poorly prepared. Meat that should be browned appeared "boiled " Mushrooms, which can add so much flavor when roasted or browned, were simply thrown into sauce to cook, making them tasteless and rubbery. The veal dish was all grey and gelatinous. The lasagna was overwhelmed by a jarred sauce and mounds of tasteless cheese. We have crossed it off our list.
Our favorite Italian place in Greensboro. Everything we've ever ordered, the gnocchi gorgonzola in particular, has been outstanding.
Great Italian food and superb service. A good value.
Consistently provides great food, reasonable pricing, good service. Ease of location and parking. Varied menu with daily specials
Great Italian dishes! They will accommodate your requests.
We love Positano's and have been going there for about ten years. The wait staff is very professional, friendly and helpful. They will work with you by actually making a dish according to your wishes if you do not see something you want on their menu. The ambiance is warm and friendly. It's always a good sign for a restaurant if the wait staff has been there for years...as the case at Positano's.
We eat at Positano's often. We made a reservation and took our visiting friends there Friday night. The place was packed but we were shown to our table immediately. We tell everyone how much we enjoy Positano's!!
Excellent menu selections and house specialties as well. Food was excellent and service was friendly and courteous.
Positano is our "go to place" for Italian. Food is always well prepared with generous portions.
The staff is friendly and attentive.
We had a reservation for 6. We were seated immediately. Prompt and courteous service. Food was good. We had a fun Mother’s Day.
The food was very good. I was surprised how good it was. Our server was very nice, if I lived here I would dine here often.
Food was great and the service was outstanding.
We visited during furniture market. This is a regional trade show that taxes the local restaurant infrastructure. Predictably, our table was 15 mins late becoming available and bar space is super limited for waiting. Food is decent Italian. Wine list is OK but lacks an abundance of selection.
Good food and good service!
Positanos has been our favorite "go to" restaurant for a number of years. I usually enjoy the fish special, often salmon which I usually can order even if it's not on the specials list, but their raviolis including the "mixed" are always good. My wife enjoys the chicken piccata and the capellini with meat sauce and meatballs, among other yummy choices. The staff is always gracious, and the service is normally quite prompt.
The food was great...simple, delicious and generous.
Table was ready when arrived. Food was very good. The service was attentive and food was served in perfect timing. Will be back. Definitely recommend.
Great food at reasonable price!
The food was very good, as always. Crowded but that’s what happens on Friday when the food id good.
We waited 25 mins after our reservation time! Really no place to wait, bar is VERY small. Finally seated, another 10 mins before the hostess came and apologized, she did not let our server know we had been seated? Food was excellent, we will try again and hope for a better experience!
The food is very good, the server should not be working in a restaurant. We had just sat down and she wanted us to order. She came back 5 minutes later and asked us to order again. We explained we had not even opened the menu and we weren't in a rush. Apparently she was. This was at 7:40 pm so they weren't close to closing. When I mentioned that I heard other servers tell their tables about specials, her response was "well, I guess you know what they are now so no need for me to tell you about them". So unprofessional, and again she shouldn't be working in the restaurant business.
The food is very good but we both agreed we wouldn't be dining here again. Not because of the food or atmosphere but because they apparently hire very unfriendly and disrespectful servers.
Excellent food - surprisingly beautiful space, given it’s in a Harris Teeter shopping center. We went based on recommendations and were NOT disappointed. Looking forward to going back!
When it comes to Italian food we are rather biased... coming from NYC and Boston. And 5 trips to Italy. Others may love this restaurant if that is not the kind of Italian food they are used to. The restaurant itself is lovely, the staff terrific. But the red sauces are sweet... so if that is the kind you like, give it a try. If you like the tomato/garlic/sl. tang of NY/Boston this will not meet your needs. Purely ones own history of what one likes for "Italian".
Super great food and service. Grace was a fantastic server.
Positano's is always a great place to eat. The Itlalian cuisine is superb. The breadsticks are always piping hot and delicious. I personally love the half chicken baked with rosemary rub. As well beyond the traditional Italian pasta dishes, the stromboli and calezoni are excellent and very large--enough to eat half and take half home. The service is excellent with a wait staff large enough to offer personal attention to every table. Even when packed, which is was on this visit, food arrival was timely and the service was personal and first rate.
Always excellent food and service. Our favorite place for special occasions.
Our server Kaitlin was fantastic! She was fun, attentive, and truly cared that we were happy with our experience. It made for a very nice Valentine's Day meal for us.
If you are looking for large portions of americanized italian food with great servuce this is your spot. However, if you are looking for a meal worth the money, spend it elsewhere. The sauces lacked flavor (we tried the red sauce, alfredo, and Gorgonzola cream), the gnocchi was doughy, and the chicken parmesan was clearly frozen beforehand.
We went here because it was rated one of the best italian restaurants in the Triad, however the food was very mediocre and underwhelming. Olive Garden would have been a better choice.
We reserved a booth for four and were seated upon arrival at a booth. The atmosphere is nice with low lighting and it was cozy. It was not so noisy that one could not talk. The service was excellent, as was the food. I had scallops and shrimp with pasta; it was very good. This was my first visit and based upon this experience, I will be back.
First visit based on good reviews. Now we know why the good reviews! Wonderful experience in every category and we cannot wait to go back!!
Enjoyed it as always! The entire party was beyond happy with their meals and service!
The food was excellent as always. Our waiter was wonderful. Very efficient and friendly. It’s really a very good pls e to eat.
Great food and service
Veal was outstanding. The eggplant parmigiana was dry. We will return and try a different dish.
Appetizers were okay. Entrees were very good. Service was good. Overall a very nice experience.
Very nice restaurant! Enjoyed the quiet cozy atmosphere and with a group of 8 it was a very enjoyable dinner . Even as the restaurant got very busy still easy to converse with the group. Food was great and bread was fantastic. Our waitress was excellent.
The sauce used was very bland and there weren't any pepper flakes on the table.
