We use the freshest ingredients which is a must when making our Eggplant Parmigiana and Florentine Ravioli. The Neapolitan Style Pizza is hand tossed with styles like Margarita, Positano, and Veggie Pizzas. Our Menu also consist of Fresh Seafood, Chicken entrees, Veal, and a Kids Menu.
Our waiter was new, but if he hadn't told we would never have known. He was knowledgeable regarding all the menu items. We love the unpretentious atmosphere with excellent food.
The waiter was fantastic the food was great. Great atmosphere
Excellent service. Waiter offered suggestions that were great.
Pleasant atmosphere; attentive service; delicious food.
We have been eating here for years. The food is always excellent and the service is great. Never had a bad experience. Good for family night out.
The red sauce for their pasta was awful. My son got a stomach ache. Very disappointing.
Excellent food, and I can’t say enough good things about the service. The other part of my party was late and we were the last table in the restaurant. They couldn’t have been more understanding and accommodating. Great people, great food!
Food was very good. Cannolis are the best in town. Wait staff was nice and tried to be very accommodating. Issues with splitting meals as the menu states large and clear that No split meals allowed. This was a total shocker and was new to us as we’ve eaten here sporadically over the years. Also management had an issue with a discount coupon one of our group had. Hard to believe in this day and age a Resturant would be so restricting to paying customers. Overall, the food was a good enough factor that we will return.
Consistently good Italian food. Olive oil and garlic is always a great starter. Get the mussels and calamari as appetizers. Chicken parmigiana is my favorite with extra garlic.
Food was excellent. It’s been several years since we had been. We will be returning soon. Our waitress was the best!
We have been to Italy nearly 20 times and have had long stays in Positano, so we went to this restaurant for the name as much as anything and because it was a good meeting place with our friends, as they live in Charlotte and we live in Raleigh. We were all pleasantly surprised by how good the food was and our waiter, Jeff, was very accommodating. Would like to see some white wines from Campania on the list instead of more than one Pinot Grigio choices. Would good again.
This is a nice neighborhood restaurant. We almost always have a really nice meal here. It's a relatively small restaurant with very good service and very good food. We think the price is reasonable for the quality of what we receive.
My one negative point concerning our recent meal here: The wall next to our booth needs to be cleaned. It wasn't terrible, but it certainly wasn't what we'd expect from a restaurant of this caliber.
Good food, friendly service, excellent menu, great wine list
Really enjoyed my time there. I had made a reservation for my one year anniversary with my girl and the employees helped me at every turn to make it a special night for her. Love it!
We met our friends and had a lovely evening with great food.
We had a fabulous waitress who was friendly and lovely! Food was delicious, Caesar salad was Ok, but the pastas were great. The chicken Parmesan was amazing!
Very nice. Look forward to returning.
My friends and I love this restaurant. Delicious food, ample portions, attentive service. Recent visit presented a new menu, missing one of my favorite entries. No problem, kitchen fixed it for me!
Great service, good food, quiet for a Saturday evening dinner
We had a nice dinner at Positanos last evening. We decided at the last minute to eat out, and their food is always good,
We love this place! Always perfect! I had the special “Sausage Cacciatore”, and it was delicious. Great staff and casual atmosphere. 5 star⭐️ all the way!
It was my birthday and the first time I have ever eaten there. Absolutely best Italian restaurant I have eaten at hands down. The staff were excellent and the food was fresh and so good. We had a dinner party of 7 and everyone bragged on how delicious the food was. Definitely my new favorite place to eat
Delicious! First time there and will definitely go back! Hidden treasure! Thank you!
Excellent on all counts; service, food, ambiance The food is fresh well prepared with best ingredients Top restaurant in Greensboro for my money
I like the atmosphere of Pasitano's. Unfortunately, my veal parmigiana was overcooked. The service was good
Birthday The veal was so tender and flavorful ‘ my husband had seafood mediterraneo and said it was the best dinner he’s had out in a while.
Food average quality, waitress very nice and friendly.
Great neighborhood gem
Jeff our waiter was pleasant, timely and flexible in going a bit off menue
Salomon on a bed of spinach with asparagus.....extra garlic = nice
Jeff worked with me on gluten free requirements
Great food, good service. We go to Positano frequently
Our server and our food was excellent. The two hostesses seemed to be completely unable to manage or problem-solve. Despite having a reservation, they couldn't seem to remember how many were in our party and seated two large walk-in groups prior to seating us. We were not seated until 25 minutes after our reservation. The wait-staff was completely swamped, but were clearly doing their best. My suspicion is that this is a management and a training issue.
Would happily have our server and food again, but it's hard to feel excited about going back due to the confusion and bad attitudes from the hostesses. It is unfortunate when the people greeting customers appear to be lacking competence.
The food was great, and the portions were very generous. They offer a nice seafood selection, which is a MUST for me.
The flounder special was amazing and made me change off of my usual cheese ravioli in Alfredo sauce (which I love!). The staff is friendly and cater to your needs, without being pushy or rushing you. The Spinoni for dessert fed all 3 of us and was delicious 😋 I can’t wait for my next meal at Positano’s!!
We had a great lunch just my mom and I for Mother’s Day. The bread was warm. The lobster ravioli was the best I have ever had. The tiramisu was delicious. We will be back.
We had a table of 9 people which they handled with no problem. We didn't have to wait long. The service was great. The food had a lot of flavor. The cannoli was very delicious
Went there for a birthday dinner, service was delayed and we all had to continuously ask for refills from waitress. The high prices you pay are absurd for the little amount of food you get. My ravioli looked and tasted like it was out of frozen food containers. Very flat and dry. My friend ordered lasagne and it was about the size of her pinky, just one small piece. Will not be coming back here.
As always, we very much enjoyed our dining experience at Positano's. My salmon was really good. My wife was excited to see that they had lamb chops on the menu, and she found them cooked nicely and well trimmed so she was able to enjoy them without having to cut off a lot of fat. m the service was great. It was nice to see a good crowd even on a weeknight.
This was our third experience at Positano, and it never disappoints. Best bruschetta and chicken parm I’ve ever eaten. Family agrees. Positano is a Greensboro gem; highly recommend.
I don’t give five stars as it is reserved for the best of the best. With that said, Mark’s never disappoints! Food, service and hospitality. One of my favorites whenever I am in town with clients. Over three years and the quality remains.
Always feel the food is good here, with several options availalble
Our waiter, Jeff C., went above & beyond in his service, his interacting with us. Food was GREAT.
