I love Positano Coast..... but last night did not really enjoy what I ordered as much as usual. Maybe my fault. Exception was octopus artichoke app which was excellent. The bronzino was a small portion with skin on and loads of mushrooms. I saw someone else getting a large whole bronzino looked much better. Didn't see that on menu. The pasta with meat red sauce featured dense rod like pasta very heavy. Dessert was great. Ambience and service excellent.

Unhappy that they add 3% to the bill automatically - claiming it’s to cover credit card fees, but they add the charge before knowing how you will pay. I will not dine here again based on that alone.

We always love Positano for an after - movie bite and cocktail. My only comments this time are that the crab cake was not as fabulous as it usually is - I always order it - it was very full of mayo (too much) and the flavor was a little bland. Also sitting on too many potatoes ..... always liked it with more spinach and zucchini. Also the service was excellent but so fast that we could barely catch our breaths between courses, and we only had a couple! felt a bit rushed with the table being cleared so quickly and next course delivered but overall really good food and very courtious service .

Overall, everything was quite good. Beet salad, short rib, risotto. Would have liked to have a bigger Italian wine list but options were decent. Frankly, for such a large restaurant and for how busy they were, I thought they executed everything above my expectations. But nothing we had was exceptional. Fun place, good for groups big and small.

The food was fantastic, tasty and portions were good. The service was very good. It was a bit noisy, since it was Saturday night at 6 pm. Would definitely go back. The appetizer octopus was excellent, the branzino filet was great. My husband enjoyed the seafood risotto. Highly recommend this restaurant. The only thing that was a challenge was getting upstairs to the second floor. Even the ramp, which I appreciated was steep-do not look down.

We ate there last night and everything was perfect. All the food was excellent and the drinks were unique and very good. The cosmo that my sister had was the best she ever had. So much so that she had to find out what they used to make it. Now she knows. Overall a great after show dinner, and to boot we got 10% off food because we were Walnut Theater members.

It was my first time back in so long and I noticed that the decorations changed. I preferred the old decocatations because I felt transported straight to Italy. Besides that the food, customer services and ambiance was excellent!!! My 2 sisters who’s first time it was, loved it as well. Thank y’all so much! Will definitely recommend and come back again.

The table they gave us was fantastic, right in the corner in the back, so all windows overlooking the street. We had a 7:15 reservation but they were able to take us earlier. We ordered spicy calamari which was okay. I asked for a Kahlua on the rocks, I have no idea what they served me, it wasn't Kahula. It was okay but a little disappointing. My wife ordered the scallops with risotto, I had the choppino with gnocchi. The scallops were tasteless and the gnocchi was overcooked and mushy. I always liked this restaurant, I don't think we'll be back, too many other-better choices.

The octopus was outstanding, tender and tasty, My Bronzino was also perfectly cooked. My wife has the squid ink pasta with crab. That was the only negative since the crab was quite sparse.
