It was great. The service was friendly and our food came out very fast!
Overall a good experience. Food was very good. Prices were a little high but I expected that. The only negative comment I have were the idiots in the corner behind us, who just had to let everyone in the place know they existed. So loud.
Great food, great service. Definitely going back!
I went here for the happy hour, and the food did not disappoint! The artichoke fries and crab tacos were delicious. The drinks could have been better, though. Lots of ice in the aperol spritz. But overall a solid meal and would consider coming back.
A terrific birthday lunch! We enjoyed it greatly!!
Our favorite dish at Positano restaurant has always been the Eggplant Parmesan. But this specific day, the "chef" may have either beenr out of the restaurant or asleep at the wheel.
The portion was smaller than usual and was just a blob swimming in tomato sauce. In the past, it appeared as a miniature layered eggplant wonder in an oval dish with a light covering of sauce. However this day, it was saturated with sauce and it could have been anything covered in heavy sauce. Tasty but very disappointing.
Had an awesome time! Can’t wait to go back when it’s not so cold! Our server was great and very personable! Thank you for having us!
Great food. Great service. The best Lemon Drop in town
Everything was absolutely fantastic. Martin was excellent and food was amazing as always. Definitely a go to spot!
Great dinner. Very helpful staff. Lovely environment. Highly recommend. Will go back
The restaurant was not as good as the last time we went. They sat us by the door my husband was concerned about getting hit by the door therefore we could not enjoy dinner. The waiter never explained the menu was something we had to download 😡. They took so long to acknowledge us it was horrible. I will never go back ever.👎.
Love the restaurant one of our favorites
outstanding dining. the food has even improved during the pandemic! we love it.
Gregoria the server is incredible!!! The food was amazing and it was an overall great experience.
Seeing a mouse run through the dining room pretty much ruined the meal for us. The food was average at best. Service was very slow.
I loved this experience! My boyfriend and I went here for Valentine’s Day and as soon as we walked in the ambiance and decor was just beautiful and very romantic. As for the food we were very pleased started off with the shrimp cocktail which was super flavorful. My boyfriend got the black squid ink sea urchin linguine he absolutely loved it. I got the gnocchi al forno and it was super warm and filling I love it as well. For dessert we got the lava cake I forget the exact name of it but it was super rich and chocolatey and the vanilla bean ice cream gave it a super nice balance! Overall I highly recommend this place for a fancy date or special occasion!
Came for Valentine’s Day. Restaurant was blasting Sneaker Pimps and Foster The People with the main lighting coming from street facing windows and neon lights on the floor bouncing off the wall. Our auxiliary light was a candle and a giant (8ft by 8ft) backlit photo of Italy. Ambiance - not very good.
It’s a shame because the spot had a lot of potential. If you top lit the place, played something constant and minimal at a reasonable volume and swapped the giant holiday snaps for something like stained glass, or even some cool design that went with the very busy wallpaper and pillars with hand painted Italian tiles - the restaurant could be really nice to eat in.
We started with the octopus which was tiny and expensive but delicious. The problem with serving three tiny octopus arms for $18 is that it sets your entrees up with pretty high expectations. My entree was short rib, but it was 86’d earlier in the night so I chose the scallops on a whim. My partner chose the seafood risotto. Their wine list sort of sucked (I’m not a wine guy, so I’m paraphrasing my partner here) so the decision was made to only have water.
The scallops arrive and they are beyond sandy, albeit decently cooked with very little sear but a good temp inside. I would imagine they’ve been sous vide’d, but never dried enough for a good sear or washed to get the grit out. The pesto risotto it was served with tasted like a very bland risotto with pesto added. I leaned over to taste my partner’s risotto, and the suspicions were confirmed. The seafood inside was, as expected, overcooked after sitting in the piping hot rice until it was cool enough to eat.
We ate and politely mentioned to the server that the scallops were gritty, and he replied by blaming me for not asking earlier in the meal. I don’t normally leave reviews of places, but the restaurant was so bad and indifferent about a meal that cost nearly a hundred bucks - I feel like I need to post so others don’t make the same mistake.
Waitress was amazing as well as the food
Valentines Day Date
It was Valentines Day and the restaurant had a modified menu
We were very comfortable eating outside in a heated area
The wine selection was nicely priced and enjoyable
We all enjoyed our evening
Always consistent, never disappoints.
Awesome crew and food
We loved our waiter Arturo and service was amazing!
Cute place, great food and service. Great brunch for friends.
I had a great experience at Positano. They did a great job with social distancing as well as having the outside terrace available even in February cold weather.
The food was fresh and very tasty. Our waiter was knowledgeable and his recommendations were exactly as describe.
I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone
We hadn’t been to brunch in a year due to covid. We’ve had lunch and dinner outside though. Never a bad experience, although we do miss sitting at the bar.
Positano coast was amazing !! Food and drinks were great. Great service thank you !!
10/10 amazing thank you
Always a great experience! And the socially distances seating was tremendous
The ambiance set was perfect for Valentines Day dinner! And my food was amazing. Can’t wait to go back!
GREAT food, GREAT service...My ONLY issue was I ordered a cheesecake to go, but when I finally went to eat it, it was some chocolate dessert; and I'm allergic to chocolate...
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a nice relaxing restaurant. Good food and drinks with great service from the waiters/waitresses at all times.
Great Vday dinner with the wife. Their outdoor section was very romantic
Great food and service
Excellent service. The social distance setup was great. The food was amazing
Positano Coast is the PERFECT place for bottomless brunch! They always keep your glass full! The food is good! The calamari is a MUST !
I went for brunch and the menu is amazing ! The bottomless mimosas were tasty the ambiance was inviting and it was beautiful!
I went to dinner with my best friend and the restaurant looked beautiful and cozy, excellent to go on a date. the food was delicious and I loved the cocktails 100% recommended
It was very romantic, rose petals and candles everywhere! I ordered half a dozen oysters and the seafood board for myself; grilled, head-on shrimp, calamari, scallops, arugula, house-made pesto...the calamari and shrimp were good and the scallops were ok, I wished I asked if there was another menu besides the Valentine’s Day weekend version. But, it was still very romantic. The drinks were good too...
Incredible food. Romantic setting. Highly recommend.
