Great place to dine pre-theatre performance! The food was delicious and service was wonderful. We ordered 3 courses with the intention of sharing each plate. To our great delight the staff split all three dishes for us, rather than having us use side plates. The food was very tastey and not heavy or greasey as sometimes italian food can be. I will definitely be back.

It was excelent food. The chocolate cake was a bit too sweet. It's a bit too small but the ambiance is great. Thanks so much, our valentine's dinner couldn't be better.

We shared a salad, pasta and main of chicken sautéed in oil and fresh vegetables. House sauvignon blanc wine was very good. Service was good and attentive.

Portobello is always good. We have had items from the regular menu as well as specials over the half dozen times we have been there. We are now starting to bring others with us!

Think because of dine out it did feel a bit rushed near the end of our meal. Overall good food, service and ambience. Tables not too close.

We had pasta meal plus one dessert between two of us. We headed to the theatre at 7:00pm so we didn’t want too much food to hold us down. Service was very good and the dessert, a chocolate volcano, was delicious. Plus we received 2 small chocolate meringues to finish off our coffee.

Predictably delicious food, welcoming owners and servers and an extremely warm and comfortable atmosphere. A great bonus if free parking out back.
