We had great service and great food. We always enjoy eating here.
We were there on a Sunday night so not many people out to dinner. Food was exceptionally good. One waiter taking care of our whole section so he was busy but friendly. The seafood was fresh and delicious. We had halibut fish and chips and crabmeat salad.
Slow and slightly rude service. Had to inquire about the milk and dessert that’s supposed to be included with the kids meal. They also brought out the wrong order for our daughter. Very slow at bringing food out too.
When we wanted seafood and didn't want to drive to the beach we'd usually end up at Red Lobster but the last few trips were sub-par. Portland Seafood Company came up in Google with higher ratings. I was a bit skeptical being this was a mall restaurant but we gave it a try anyway. The price is a bit higher than Red Lobster but the food is far better and tastes fresher.
Consistent food and service we go often with friends. Tonite especially good crabcakes and cod sandwich all the appetzers are so good. And lots of dessert choices. Has enough options for non seafood too. Super nice staff busy always great happy hours too we will be back soon
This was a family get together for 2 birthdays. The waitress was knowledgeable on how to process our coupon. We had many delightful choices of good seafood dishes on the menu. We went at a good time in between lunch and dinner so it was quiet so that we could visit. Thank you.
GREAT AS ALWAYS The fish and chips had some very good fish and very fresh
If you're looking for a good seafood restaurant, they are hard to find these days, this is a good choice. You will not be disappointed.
My mother, who is wheelchair bound and mostly blind, was given great care by all the staff.
Great food at a reasonable price. We enjoy going here periodically when we crave seafood.
The food is very good while the volume on plate are less than we anticipated.
We tried Portland Seafood Company as an alternative to a pricey restaurant on the Columbia we often go to when visiting Portland. The food at PSC was excellent and the service even better. The chowder is some of the best I've had and really good with the fresh sourdough provided--we all ordered a cup or bowl. We had fish and chips and one of our party had a Steelhead salad. Everyone felt the food was great and a good value.
We dined with two small kids and were made to feel very much at home. The kid's menu has good variety. Four adults (each with two drinks) and two kids and the total was $160 including a nice time for the great service.
Good food and service. Tables are close together and at peak times can be very loud. Great seafood selections.
Oysters on the half shell were big and delicious! I dined with my daughter. I got the shrimp and crab cakes & they were excellent. My daughter got halibut which was just okay. Be prepared for large portions.
Our waitress was outstanding and other staff members stopped by several times to check on us.
All in all, a pleasant experience!
Service was slow , had to remind waiter to bring bread and salad before main coarse, excuse was they were busy and backed up in the kitchen. Food was mediocre. Clams were tough, halibut was just average and side dish only slightly flavorful.
I will not return
Food was okay. Expected better based on other reviews and rankings. No complaints but nothing to brag about either.
It is very rare that I have ever given a bad review so please pay attention. We have been to this restaurant 3 times in a span of 3 or 4 years. There is always enough time passed to remember after we have been, why we do not go more often as it is less than 5 miles from our house. Service has always been slow each and every time. Had to always flag someone to fill my parties water glasses
This would have been fine except the food is nothing special and they are charging $24.00 for blah. This most recent time I had the paella. I love good paella , this was not. There wasn't even a hint of saffron flavor to the rice, which was bland. Also no fond or if you prefer the crispy rice from the bottom of the pan which tells me this was not even close to authentic paella and probably baked. The only saving grace was there was adequate seafood
The halibut was equally bland and forgettable. I think we have tried this place for the last time. After giving there menu, chefs and food ample tries to get things right. Each time we have gone we have ordered different items with the same results
service was excellent and the food was great the price is right
Not a very clean restaurant, food was average. Service was bland.
The food was delicious & the service was excellent. We really enjoyed our experience.
Good spot. Was around Washington Square mall and decided to drop in. It was 6pm on a Saturday- not busy at all. Did wait a little while for bread and our server served a larger table next to us (seated after us) their bread and told us we had to wait even though we had been there waiting for bread already.... other than that the drinks were good and so was the food and atmosphere. Got the steak and it was good- I've had better but it was good.
We went for our 11 year anniversary. I made 7 PM reservations. The put us right next to a table with a family. The kids were jumping on the benches. I went to request something more private and they put us in the seating area for events. We had the whole room to ourselves. They were extremely accommodating and the staff was amazing. We loved our waitress she was extremely friendly. Our drinks and food were amazing.
Shrimp and crab on Seafood salad had no flavor... not fresh frozen.
Not what I expected from a restaurant at The Mall. It was really excellent!
Food was excellent! My only issue was ambience but not a deal breaker.
Service was slow. Asked a few times for water. Food was good.
Really nice lunch with a friend, the noodles were excellent! Server was fast and efficient, recommended a great Chardonnay.
Except for the mix up in our reservations being cancelled while were in the restaurant, we would like to thank Matt for getting this all straightened out for us.
Our bartender was awesome. Our drinks were prepared to our liking and our meals were wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed our date.
Taco Tuesday! Great tacos with lots of fish meat!
If anything the service was too fast. The cioppino was really tasty and delectable.
The restaurant was recommended by a friend and we had a wonderful meal. The service was quick and the food was excellent. Will definitely return for another occassion
Great seafood dishes for a reasonable price. Awesome service.
The waitress was nice but the restaurant was way under staffed.
We were visiting Portland with our young kids. This was the perfect place for them. The food was good, nothing amazing or fancy but we were aiming for a kid-friendly place. This fit the bill! Our waitress was super friendly and even offered substitutions for the kids meals when our kids silently scoffed at the veggie options (she offered them off the menu strawberries instead, which they loved!). Good value, decent food, super friendly staff and kid friendly!!
Very good as always and excellent service as always.Highly recomend
We always have a nice time here. The wait staff is wonderful and the food is very good.
We were disappointed with the menu. Didn't offer crab leg plate or lobster plate without ordering meat with it. Our server didn't know how the food was prepared. He did bringbout a new serving of green beans since the first order had aoli on it which he didn't know. Server was good, not thrilled with menu or lack thereof.
dECOR A LITLE BASIC- BUT GOOD VALUE FOR GOOD SEAFOOD.
We had seven in our party and the service was great. All the dishes we had were very good.
Kids had the oysters and said they were good quality
We had the sampler platter - the crab spinach dip was great.
My wife had the crab and shrimp louie and said it very good with a good portion of crab and a pile of shrimp.
The crab bucket was a great hit with my son.
Open table messed up, our reservation was supposed to be for the Mall 205 location which had no record that we had reserved a table. Luckily it happens a lot so they honored the reservation. The waitress was very nice and efficient. The food was good if not terribly exciting. It was a reasonable value.
