Portland Seafood Co. - Mall 205
Your Local Fish Joint has arrived.
Love this place. Food is always good and staff is excellent.
Great little spot for tasty seafood. Has a little strip mall feel to it, but the food made up for that. Service wasn’t super speedy, but still friendly and overall a good value. Oysters & crab & artichoke dip were delicious. Fish and chips were spot on & all the fish preparations were pro.
Best service I've received in a long time. I would go back just based on the way I was treated. Food was good. My wife's crab and shrimp cakes were great.
Food was delicious and service friendly and quick
Outstanding food for a very reasonable price.
Everyone loved their entree. Wine was half price on Wednesday. It was easy to get to.
Awesome food and the service was exceptional! We will definitely go back.
Service was really slow. It took almost 25 minutes for our order to be taken. Husbands soup was barely warm. He said he would eat it because he didn’t want to wait another 25 minutes for a replacement.
Way to expensive way to little food 3 shrimp and 3 oysters and nastey fries and upgraded fish to halibut 2 people 75.00 never again
Food was good, was kind of surprised. The restaurant could be a little updated. Overall, service and food was great.
We had a very enjoyable dining experience on Valentine’s Day. Everyone was pleasant, friendly and eager to make sure we were enjoying our meal.
My seafood platter was excellent. My wife's pear salad was too wet, but tasty.
all of my family there were 5 of us enjoyed our time and the dinner was delicious....
I come to Portland every few months and this is a regular dinner place for my mother and me. Food is very good, there’s a lot of choices and if you can get a booth it’s quiet enough to talk without shouting. Consistently good service and quality.
When I ordered the crab melt there is Little Crab but mostly filler on it very salty... also my shrimp appetizer was overcooked... and you have to ask for the complimentary bread now or they wont bring it.... probably won't come back
We've eaten here on a number of occasions and our experience this time was much the same as previously. The seafood items (can't speak to other menu items) are consistently good, if not outstanding. I loved the lemony sauce on the green beans which were cooked perfectly tender-crisp. We were there early on a Sunday evening so the noise level was quite low but would be higher at a popular time.
Our waiter, Jesse, was outstanding. He approaches all that he does with professionalism, warmth and efficiency. He knows how to interrupt very sensitively. He is a delightful person and does his job in a most excellent manner. The food on our menu was also very tasty and delightful. And we were surprised at how competitive and relatively inexpensive the wine list is compared to most other restaurants. That was a real gift. I have been to this restaurant about half a dozen times. What I report about the food, the waiters and waitresses and the atmosphere is consistent and reliable. I would take family and friends there because I don't have to worry that I would be negatively surprised. Their Happy Hour is also varied and reasonable in price.
Just a little surprised when my meal was brought to my table. I ordered the 3-piece "true cod" fish and chips, and was shocked at how few French fries were on my plate. The fish and coleslaw were their normal size, but it appeared as though someone dumped the last of a batch of fries with the intent of adding more, but forgot. In the past, I have had so many fries, that I could share them with my wife. Not this time. I had barely enough for me. It would seem that with such a cheap side as fries, more could be on the plate. P.S. Our server was excellent and took extremely good care of us.
It was just fine.
We went looking for good Oregon seafood and were disappointed. Service was ok, food wasn’t all that great. For what you pay here, you are better off driving to the coast and spending the gas money to get fresh from the ocean food.
Excellent service for a small group lunch. Great seafood choices.
Our favorite seafood restaurant in Portland! Servers are always helpful and friendly :-)
Much was good. The waiter was friendly and tolerant of our loud group. The fresh oysters were yummy. The entrees were a mixed bag. My cioppino had a nice broth but the fish and shellfish were overcooked. Folks who ordered crab and lobster were happy all except we had to ask twice for crab crackers and the requested drawn butter never came. Dessert was delicious. Would revisit.
Outstanding service. Food was great and we actually were able to hear each other.
A good place for a family holiday get together, we have one person with lots of food issues, allergic to onion, celiac, and the menu gave her some good options. Everyone else was reasonably pleased with their food. A bit greasy and salty to my taste, but okay. Ordered the marionberry cobbler for dessert, that was the most bizarre cobbler I’ve ever had. Like a small pie, the crust to fruit ratio heavily and unfortunately favored the crust. our server was very chatty, could have been a bit more on the water and coffee refills though. He did make one mistake with an entree, but compensated well for his error. We were seated uncomfortably close to another table, but the restaurant was busy and there just weren’t that many tables for large parties.
Attentive server. Speedy. Food was average in taste, not highly seasoned, which we like.
To be the level that they seem to aspire to they could incorporate a few better ingredients. The ceaser salad should have tastier dressing and fresh shaved parmesan. It resembles the Costco ceaser too much.
Always great food and excellent service. My favorite seafood place. In fact, my favorite restaurant!
You can't go wrong at pdx seafood co.
Food was pretty good. Dover sole a little dry and salty, but ok. Portion were ok, not skimpy but fair
Halibut was very good, good portion and well presented. Salads were in great portions
Adequate dining at best. Food selection was okay but didn't have option to add soup/salad at a lowered cost which made a turkey/bacon/avocado sandwich w/fries ($10.99) plus a house salad with dressing ($6.99) plus a strawberry lemonade with only one free refill ($3.59) and automatically charged 18% gratuity come to $25.45. Not worth it. Won't be going back.
The staff are incredibly friendly, service oriented and efficient. More than accommodating!
Great option for seafood, loved the quality and recommendations from our server. Went to celebrate a birthday for a seafood lover, and they gave it 2 thumbs up!
It's always a great time coming to this location. And our server Janice whom we request every time is awesome! Keeps us coming back. Great food as well.
Felt like fish and chips for dinner, so met another couple there. Ordered cod fish and chips and noticed price was $1.00 more than last time. Food was ok, but a little greasy. No bread offered. Beer list overpriced and not of my liking. Fewer fries than in previous visits. Slaw was wonderful, as always.
SUMMARY: Probably will visit this establishment less. Food overpriced, quality just O.K., not wonderful. Restaurant empty, but we had to wait for a booth, as was at shift change. Staff was unenthusiastic and not engaged. Ordered the big appetizer, but they were out of some of the components of the dish; kind of like a company pulling back on inventory in order to be sold, or closed. Hope all works well for them. We will see how it is whenever we go, again. May have just been a bad service.
We have moved further out of the city but always return to one of our favorite spots where our littles first learned to love fish. We so enjoy seeing our long time servers who have become fast friends and catching up with them and what they are doing. Portland Seafood is a great place for a good meal and it never fails. We love the RU Rewards program too!
This is our favorite place for yummmy seafood. Always great service. Quiet for conversations.
Server was attentive. Food arrived quickly and was hot and flavorful.
Hazelnut halibut was over cooked. Sides were just so so.
