I've been to the Portland City Grill twice and each time had a great time and meal. The only disappointment was the limited menu. We were really looking forward to their crab cakes which weren't being prepared. Obviously understood !
Highly recommend the restaurant and the awesome view
Ceasar salad was incredible, one of the best things I've ever had. Vegetarian pasta was fantastic and the vegetables were so flavorful. Desert was great as well. Service was fantastic. Our service from Anthony was the best we've had anywhere.
Amazing night with amazing views. The service was spectacular and every menu item purchased was worth the cost. A+++++
We had a great time at the Portland City Grill to celebrate a birthday. As always, the service was impeccable, the food was delicious, and we were able to be seated next to a window which afforded endless entertainment and a beautiful backdrop to the evening. We hope to return very soon!
Portland City Grill has implemented COVID safety measures completely yet they are able to provide warm and efficient service to their clientele.
Great views of the entire city, great happy but get there around 3pm if you want a seat.
Limited menu unfortunately, but friendly and courteous staff
Great view, good service, and good food. A nice spot for upscale dining in Portland.
Great food and service and social distancing. Try the calamari!
The food was outstanding. The service was swift and they did an amazing job upholding sanitary practices due to the pandemic.
It was a little slow on the service side. But then again with the adjustments with Covid it might be short handed but overall loved it
Ambient is very nice beautiful
Food was ok
Had an amazing meal with beautiful views of the city :)
Perfect!! Couldn’t have been better
The steak was cooked well done instead of medium & had bland flavor. The cocktails are too sugary. I’d recommend just getting appetizers & enjoy the view. The food is expensive & pretty blah.
There was no nobody there hardly because of the Corona virus 19 thing but had a good time
Definitely, it's a beautiful restaurant with great views, service, staff and food.
After only reopening from the Coronavirus closure that week, everything was flawless. The service was thoughtfully safe and careful, with a delightful server. The food was great, and the view from the top on that sunny evening was beautiful.
The only suggestion would be to provide clear directions for entry with the Open Table confirmation message. We had to call to find out how to get in because the normal entryway was boarded up. We would certainly return here if we visit Portland again.
Lovely atmosphere, amazing service- just a couple of other patrons that weren’t so nice :(
So I took my significant other here for our 1 Year Anniversary and we both absolutely loved it. Well first off we went on our 6 month Anniversary in December and we loved it so much we made a reservation right away for our 1 year anniversary. Amid the pandemic I was relieved that you guys had opened back up !! The service was excellent, the view was fantastic, and the food was most of all extraordinary !!!
So, I am writing this with some hesitation as we love PCG. We have been waiting for them to reopen. We went there four days after they reopened so I do understand things are rough. However, I have never been so fully disappointed with PCG. I probably wont be back. The service was HORRIBLE !. The Wagyu steak... tough, not worth the money they charged us. There were four in our party. A celebration for High School senior graduation and a college graduate. 424.00 dollars later and I felt like that was the biggest waste of money. It took us over 2 hours to finally get our bill.
They need to hire some more folks if they want to charge for upscale services and food.
Just my 2 cents. Hopefully they fix the problems.
The food was awful my wine glass was dirty service was extremely delayed
I love Portland city grill and was super excited to spend my best friends birthday dinner here but we were unfortunately disappointed this time. We both had a salad with grilled chicken breast and it was good but the chicken could have used the grill for a few more minutes and some seasoning. Also our Server didn't come up even once to check on us and we waited for a long time and I finally was able to flag him down and order desert. It would have been nice to get checked on and at least refill my water cup or see if we wanted ro order anything else. Also two weeks before the pandemic started and everything was shut down I was celebrating my birthday with you guys and I left one of my birthday cards there. I asked if it by any chance still saved and I never heard back if was there or for thrown out. Either way I would have liked to hear back on that even it was just bad news. To top things off my ticket wasn't validated for some reason so when I got to the parking garage I was disappointed.
I'm sorry for the essay 😂 I guess I was just sad because we expected so much more. Our other experiences with you guys have always been amazing. I understand it must have been hard getting back into the swing of things so hopefully the service will go back to how it used to be 😊🤞🏼
Great all around. Went there for the steak and the views, neither of which let me down
Amazing! Booked reservations for first day since COVID-19 closure and everything was amazing. From the views on the 30th floor to our dinner.
We went in on the first day back for Phase One. Our server was great, the view was phenomenal and the food is always fantastic. Give everyone a break, we're all getting used to the new requirements!
For a $150 ticket I would expect more. The margarita I ordered wasn’t great. My girlfriend got another drink twice. It tasted drastically different both times. The $60 steak was cooked to well done and you could hardly cut through it. I’ve been here before and it’s usually good. This was day 1 of reopening after COVID so maybe they are a bit rusty.
Great place to celebrate anniversary, propose, feel like you are on top of the World!
Entertained 7 graduating college basketball players. Wanted very special experience for them. It exceeded all expectations. Service was fantastic and very attentive. Food absolutely perfect. Great evening.
We have been to PCG many times for dinner. I actually tell people it’s my favorite restaurant. Unfortunately I will no be back after this experience. I’m not sure if it’s because they were bought out or what but we were super disappointed. Made a reservation for my 50th birthday with 5 other people. They put us at a small table with 5 seats. We asked to be moved. There was not anything special on the table... no card... no confetti like before... my steak was overcooked and we were treated like second class citizens. My boyfriend decided to propose that night in the restaurant and not one waitstaff said a peep. We were ignored. So disappointed. We would have ordered more food and drinks but our waitress was too busy to return. So, my 50th birthday and engagement was ruined buy a very disappointing night. Bummer.
I took my boyfriend out for his birthday. He thoroughly enjoyed the food
As usual, the views are the best of any restaurant in Portland, but the service, while exceptionally polite, was slow getting food to the table. In the end, I had to take my dinner to go.
Fish and chips (instead of fries I ordered a salad). The fish was so thin it was dried out when fried. It was really quite horrible. Salad was great.
Server a little obnoxious.
It was a pleasant experience
great place, great atmosphere, outstanding food, friendly staff, good value
Wonderful window table for our anniversary! Beautiful night and full moon out the window. Delicious dinner and service!!
What fantastic food! Only negative feedback: $32 for 5 shrimp is really steep.
Amazing location good food and good service only problem I had I was seated very close to kitchen door, over all very happy I will go back there.
The food was amazing and the service was superb!
