    The food was good the view was great But Portland city Grill has lost some of its last year from its golden years This server was wearing a giant mushroom earring that looked like it was part of a Mario kart cartoon He admitted it was his first day but he would say things like let me go get you some bread and then never bring it he would say I’ll bring you some more of this and then not show up another person was asked to bring water and they said they’d be right back it never showed up Like the crowd has gone a little bit downhill as well But the food was tasty so it ended up being a pretty good night

    Food and ambiance are top notch. Our only complaint was how SLOW the whole service was. We spent 3 hours at the restaurant. Once we said we were ready to go it took us an additional 20 minutes to get our receipt. Everything else was great.

    This place has been and will always be phenomenal. The food, the service, the cocktails and the view are second to none. If you’re looking for a place to celebrate an occasion or you just feel like treating yourself, you will absolutely be doing yourself a disservice by not going here. It will NOT disappoint.

    We had a wonderful evening. We got there early, so we got a window seat. Stunning panoramic views. Our dinner was very good with an extensive wine list. Our waiter was very attentive and encouraged us to take our time and enjoy. We will go back again.

    We loved John and our conversation! The live music was good. The view was exceptional! The food was average for the price paid.

    We brought an out of town visitor for their birthday. Of course we hope to have a window table, but there weren’t any available for parties over four people. Some of us enjoyed the three course special. Plenty of food and delicious options. I’d say the chop salad was a little overdressed for my taste. And the crème brûlée was so perfect - a light creme, very smooth & decadent. And of course they brought a complimentary little red velvet cake for the birthday person. We bought a bottle for the table. Total- About $100 per person. A wonderful time together!

    We really enjoyed our experience. The atmosphere cannot be beat and the service is stellar. Only thing I would ding them on was the food. It's good, but it's no Manny's.
