Amazing restaurant! I celebrated girlfriends birthday and we had the time of our lives.
Place was good. Sadly the wait time for window seat was more than 45 mins. Food was great and friendly staff.
Thank you to our server, Jeff! You upscaled out experience at PCG. We were so lucky. Our first time and impressed
It was our first time visiting the place: I brought a friend from out of town to see the sights.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We came just for dessert, which were excellent (sorbet, creme brulee). We didn't have a table with a good view despite having made reservations in advance, but we still enjoyed the atmosphere of the place.
Gorgeous view. The service was lovely. My husband really enjoyed his seafood stew. My steak was quite expensive and not remarkable. Nevertheless, the table by the window made the whole experience worthwhile.
Beyond gracious waitress
Appealing atmosphere with
Incomprable views of the city
All this and food to die for.
A splendid restaurant.
Great view and really enjoyed the food! The halibut and crab cakes were delicious!
Very great and romantic place. Excellent quality of food and service. No one can beat their environment.
Second trip here.... and MORE satisfied than the first time when I was completely satisfied! :)
Amazing views, kind and attentive service and clearly a kitchen staff/ chef whom takes pride
in what they serve.
We live in McMinnville...we love to make the drive for a special occasion, and to bring our out of the area guests...it’s exceptional! If you haven’t experienced Portland City Grill, you must!!!
Our first time here for our anniversary and my birthday and it was absolutely amazing! I cannot wait to go again.
Wonderful place to celebrate my birthday -- excellent food & great view.
Views are amazing and the staff works hard. Past 2 times I've been, the food has been disappointing. Recommend going for drinks and appetizers only.
Ribeye steak was overdone, but was good enough so decided not to have it sent back.
I'd been to this place before but only in the bar/happy hour area. This time all was great in bar area (views are spectacular) but we went in for dinner and it was a disaster. The manager was very nice and accommodating and gave us a huge break in price but there were 6 us (ladies) and we had to wait over an hour and half for food, some of us more...one entree came raw (salmon) so sent back for more cooking while the rest of us had been done for a half hour or more. The food was great and manager very nice but it took 2 1/2 hrs for dinner...we had early morning flights so not good.
The food was amazing & the view is fantastic especially at night.
Superb service (from Jeff)… and, of course, the view (best in Portland).
Fantastic view especially when the sun is setting! Fantastic food!
It's a lot of money but good for a visit once in a while. Can't beat the views!!
It was a lovely evening except for the very dim lighting. At times could hardly see person across from me. Quite noisy as well. Surprised at number of small children considering the prices
Our 30th anniversary dinner and it was very nice thank you
We had a booth and enjoyed a very nice meal
Good experience, we enjoyed our dinner and the food was excellent. Service was pretty good as well but having a window seat option for the ones available would have been nice.
We went for our Anniversary only because we had a gift card. Food was good but I only go for the view!. If I wanted a nice dinner with delicious food I would choose one of the other 5 star restaurants in Portland. I recommend Portland City Grill for Happy Hour.
Excellent! Best Portland has to offer
It was a late lunch. Our server only had 3 tables, but she only visited our table a handful of times over the course of the meal. It took 20 minutes to request our check.
My friends and I enjoyed ourselves very much! We arrived early for our table, found a nice table in happy hour area but were moved to our table early which was very nice as it was well lit while the bar area is a little dark for us. It was good!
Really poor service and so loud in the dining room you can’t have a normal conversation with the people at your own table. Definitely NOT worth the money we spent. Won’t go there again.
We had an amazing meal for my husband’s 30th birthday with fantastic service from Izzy!
Great food! Great service! Place was dark!!
Great views and great food! Definately enjoyed ourselves.
I was worried about coming here, I'm not a fan of tourist traps, but I was overjoyed when all of the food we ordered was delicious & accompanied by a tremendous view. We started out with the tempura shrimp, tasted good be sure to mix the two sauces together, and it came with a side salad. Unlimited bread & butter, good for the beau since he never seems full. For entrees I got the 7.5 oz filet, it was cooked perfect to medium rare, and he got the lamb (also delicious). I'd recommend this to a friend visiting Portland, probably won't see too many locals here unless their bringing out of town guests!
I have always been here for Dinner. Lunch was not nearly as impressive. Menu was boring and service was uninspired. The food was apologetic in presentation and flavor.
Wonderful, just wonderful.
Our guest from China was very pleased with our choice of restaurants for this business dinner. He enjoyed the wonderful view and delicious meal. We showed him the private room reserved for the delegation lunch the next day which was very nicely organized and presented thanks to Cherish and Annie.
We were able to get a window seat with a view of the river. View was beautiful. Wait staff was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. It was hard to make a meal choice from the menu, lots of great choices.
First time in Portland in decades. What a great place to see the city from 30 floors up. Service was spectacular as were the food and the view.
As always, Portland City Grill exceeds expectations. The view alone would make it worth the trip up to the 30th floor but the service, food quality and presentation take this destination to an all new level of greatness. I consider every visit to PCG a treat!
I was impressed with the service! Meals were excellent- view was stellar! All around great experience for my daughters 18th Birthday.
Delicious food, great service and a STUNNING view of downtown. We had the rack of lamb and sushi. The Sushi was average but the lamb was perfectly cooked and spot on, five star.
